Those of you familiar with the Benghazi Brief will note the alignment and expectation of the Rogers/Ruppersberger report.  Their report is exactly as we anticipated it would be.
With a House Select Committee (Trey Gowdy) already in place, you might rightly ask yourself why did Mike Rogers and Dutch Ruppersberger even produce a report?  As you read their House Intelligence Panel Report on Benghazi it is important to note a few key aspects:

• Both Mike Rogers and Dutch Ruppersberger are members of the Congressional Gang of Eight.  They are the ONLY authors.

• This is not a House Intelligence “Committee” report on Benghazi.  This is only two committee members writing a report based on prior information.

• Both Rogers and Ruppersberger would have been briefed on the CIA operations in Benghazi during 2011/2012 as the covert operation began.

• President Obama signed a finding memo in 2011 permitting Operation Zero Footprint to begin. The congressional “gang of eight” held oversight responsibilities.

• Rogers, Ruppersberger along with Nancy Pelosi, John Boehner, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, Saxby Chambliss and Diane Feinstein would have been notified of the presidential authorization. In 2011 they were the congressional Gang of Eight.  Their lack of oversight reflected a willful blindness to the operation.

• In addition to the covert Zero Footprint Operation, the Benghazi CIA annex served as a rendition site. [We find this out in 2013 from Paula Broadwell, who was the pillow-talk recipient of information from 2012 CIA Director General David Petraeus. Broadwell and Petraeus had an extramarital affair.]

The Rogers/Ruppersberger Report is specifically designed, by wording, to provide political cover to both parties – Republicans and Democrats within the Gang of Eight particularly  included, and protected.

ST. LOUIS • Two men have been indicted on weapons charges in federal court here for allegedly making straw purchases of two handguns at the Cabela’s sporting goods store in Hazelwood.

A police source says both men are affiliated with the New Black Panther Party and were taken into custody this morning.
The indictment was handed up Wednesday and unsealed today accusing Brandon Orlando Baldwin and Olajuwon Davis of making false statements to obtain firearms. The defendants’ ages and addresses were not made public. (more…)

Amid a massive document dump of news on the Friday before Thanksgiving the IRS announces they have located “additional” emails sought by congressional inquiry.
Remember, AG Eric Holder is effectively gone now, Obama is a lame-duck -and has done the immigration reform he promised- by dictatorial fiat, and the Senate is about to be run by Republican leadership.  As a consequence all of the parachute cords are being severed, and we’ll see a number of political officials reacting to the “every man/woman for themselves” shift.

WASHINGTON DC – Up to 30,000 missing emails sent by former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner have been recovered by the IRS inspector general, five months after they were deemed lost forever.
The U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) informed congressional staffers from several committees on Friday that the emails were found among hundreds of “disaster recovery tapes” that were used to back up the IRS email system. (more…)

Today the FBI expanded the warnings for anticipated violence to multiple communities throughout the U.S. – The list of cities planning to join the coordinated RAGE efforts has also increased.

Radical Islam is on the same side of the political continuum as totalitarianism and communism. Unfortunately, this also places them on the same side as radical leftist groups in the U.S. currently agitating in Saint Louis and surrounding communities; and seeking to use racial division to advance their own ideological causes.
As we have previously outlined the Anonymous Group “OpFerguson” is located in Pakistan and run by a man named Arslan Khan. Today Khan is instructing the Anarchists in Ferguson to target police surveillance, specifically police helicopters, with laser targeting devices (laser pointers).

The mayor has not fully identified the amount of allowable violence he will permit, which leaves Saint Louis citizens to wonder what will be the allowable quota for businesses to be looted, torched, and/or individuals to be attacked?  Will murder be discouraged, or frowned upon?… so many questions.
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay has requested 400 members of the National Guard to help in the city after the grand jury’s decision is announced in the Michael Brown case.

He has also agreed to some of the Don’t Shoot Coalition’s proposed rules of engagement. (more…)

The White House strategy to leak a far reaching executive office proposal (Fox News) appears to have been deliberately done to initiate angst in advance of a somewhat lesser, but still stretching, objective.   By leaking an extreme case scenario the lesser proposal usurpation becomes diluted/moderated.  President Obama is scheduled to give a prime time speech tomorrow night at 8pm with details saved for Friday in Las Vegas.

(Washington Post) President Obama will announce Thursday that he will use his executive authority to expand temporary protections to millions of undocumented immigrants, according to several individuals who have been briefed on the decision. Obama will travel to Las Vegas on the heels of that announcement to rally support for his initiative on Friday.
Congress will receive official details on the move Thursday, according to a senior Democratic Party official.
Even before final confirmation of the president’s plans, outside advocates began readying events to promote the administration’s immigration policy. (more…)

Vice-President Joe Biden announced the latest White House scheme, setting the table for a massive, economy-crushing influx of dependent people from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador – yet few were paying attention.
In what may well be intended as the immigration knockout blow called “In-Country Refugee/Parole Program for Minors in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras With Parents Lawfully Present in the United States” (link).

The Purge Mentality Comes To Saint Louis

Many people are alarmed that the FBI has announced an expectation for “extremist protesters” with a specific intent for violence in/around Saint Louis/Ferguson Missouri.
However, this is not the first time this year such an alarming declaration has been made.  After the ABC article spotlighting the Ferguson/Saint Louis unrest, we’ll share the earlier episode everyone seems to forget:

SAINT LOUIS – As the nation waits to hear whether a Missouri police officer will face charges for killing unarmed teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., the FBI is warning law enforcement agencies across the country that the decision “will likely” lead some extremist protesters to threaten and even attack police officers or federal agents.
Peaceful protesters could be caught in the middle, and electrical facilities or water treatment plants could also become targets. In addition, so-called “hacktivists” like the group “Anonymous” could try to launch cyber-attacks against authorities. (more…)

Bret Baier utilized research tonight on his show “Special Report” that was done by Jane Hamsher -back in 2010 and 2011- surrounding Jonathan Gruber and the construct of ObamaCare legislation.  Hamsher did an exceptional job, yet, at the time, few were listening….

FLASHBACK MAY 2010 – HUFFINGTON POST Up until this point, most of the attention regarding the failure to disclose the connection between Jonathan Gruber and the White House has fallen on Gruber himself. Far more troubling, however, is the lack of disclosure on the part of the White House, the Senate, the DNC and other Democratic leaders who distributed Gruber’s work and cited it as independent validation of their proposals, orchestrating the appearance of broad consensus when in fact it was all part of the same effort.
The White House is placing a giant collective bet on Gruber’s “assumptions” to justify key portions of the Senate bill such as the “Cadillac tax,” which they allowed people to believe was independent verification. Now that we know that Gruber’s work was not that of an independent analyst but rather work performed as a contractor to the White House and paid for by taxpayers, and economists like Larry Mishel are raising serious questions about its validity, it should be made publicly available so others can judge its merits.
