Colorado Letter To The Editor Predicted EPA Spill – Motive: So EPA Could Secure Superfund Status….

This is interesting.  Last week, a small EPA-supervised work crew inspecting the Gold King mine in Colorado “accidentally” knocked a hole in a waste pit, releasing at least three million gallons of acidic water containing toxic heavy metals.

Gateway Pundit shares a letter to the editor written a week earlier, and published in a local town newspaper, written by a retired geologist, who predicted a week earlier that the EPA would create the crisis in order to secure Superfund status for a cleanup. (more…)

Trump is Right – Political Leverage, Deal-Making, Business Survival In the Era of Obama….

The professional political class are going their best pearl-clutching routine, because Donald Trump dare say he’s bought influence, through political contributions, on behalf of his business interests.
How dare he say he’s given money to “get things”, while simultaneously saying “that’s what’s wrong with Washington DC”.  “He’s part of the problem“, says Rand Paul.
The republicans, or, heck, anyone, who espouses ‘holier-than-thou’ outrage over this are, to borrow descriptive from Trump, absolute idiots and morons.
This is 2015, an era with Obama-level governmental fascism leading to issues like the IRS targeting of conservatives; just ask Catherine Englebrecht about it.  Or better yet, watch and listen to this video – spoken on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives:

Here Comes The ObamaCare of Energy Sector Regulations – Obama To Unveil EPA Regulatory Carbon Tax Program Tomorrow…

Here comes the beginning of the second holy grail goal of the Obama administration. This one comes with guarantees of billions for Chicago Jesus and his ideological co-horts. Get ready for “Carbon Trading” in the U.S. energy sector along a similar vein to the historical “Mortgage Trading” in the housing sector.

Listen closely tomorrow and you’ll hear some familiar catch phrases. Remember “if you like your plan you can keep your plan”, or “if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor”, or “it will save the average family $2,500 per year on health insurance premiums”, or “we have to pass the bill (regulation) to find out what’s in it” etc… the nouns will change, the verbs and adjectives will remain the same.

WASHINGTON DC – President Barack Obama will Monday unveil what he called the “biggest, most important step we’ve ever taken” to fight climate change, a sensitive issue central to his legacy.

Obama Jesus Pose

The White House will release the final version of America’s Clean Power Plan, a set of environmental rules and regulations that will home in on the pollution from the nation’s power plants, setting limits on power-plant carbon emissions.

Laying out how climate change was a threat to the health, well being and security of millions of Americans, and adding that time was of the essence, Obama said in a video released early Sunday: “Climate change is not a problem for another generation. Not anymore.” (more…)

“That’s Creepy Weird” – Hillary Clinton Gives Climate Policy Speech In Empty Room With No Audience…

Reading the Associated Press report of Hillary Clinton in Des Moines today you might think she outlined a policy speech on alternate energy to an interested Iowa audience.

Here’s the AP report:

(Via AP) Hillary Rodham Clinton is detailing new energy proposals in Iowa to address climate change. She calls global warming one of the “most urgent threats of our time.”

But she’s still not taking a position on the Keystone XL oil pipeline.

The Democratic presidential contender is proposing that every home in the United States be powered by renewable sources by 2027. Her plan calls for installation of 500 million solar panels over four years.

Clinton laid out clean-energy ideas during a tour of a regional bus station in Des Moines, Iowa, on Monday.

The Dept. Of Energy’s War Against Common Sense Continues – Dishwasher Edition…

Toilets that don’t flush; washing machines that don’t wash; light bulbs that don’t illuminate; electric cars that don’t drive; exploding windmills; useless solar panels, and now….

Obama amid Solar Panels - Green Energy(Via The Hill) Companies that make dishwashers are warning that the Obama administration’s latest efficiency standards for their industry would backfire.

The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers is accusing the Department of Energy (DOE) of a politically motivated drive to increase dishwasher efficiency standards, which are so bad that they would cause consumers to re-wash dishes, erasing any efficiency gains.

Rob McAver, the group’s head lobbyist, said regulators are going too far and the new rules will allow only 3.1 gallons to be used to wash each load of dishes.  “At some point, they’re trying to squeeze blood from a stone that just doesn’t have any blood left in it,” McAver said. (more…)

President Obama Says Florida Will Disappear In His Children’s Lifetime….

Florida is, on average, 3 feet above sea level

Obama Confused(CNSNews.com) – Speaking at an event held in a private home in San Francisco on Friday evening, President Barack Obama warned:

“Well within our children’s lifetimes, on our current pace, the oceans go up maybe two, maybe three, maybe four feet.”

In the speech, the president said:

“There are two things in particular that these days I’m spending a lot of time thinking about. The first is the changing nature of the economy.” The other, he said, is “climate change.” (read more)

So investing in Florida real estate is definitely out of the question.

Ah, Progressives At Their Core – Some are Just Fundamentally More Equal Than Others….

…. but, but what about the Sand Smelts?  All’s fair in rules and regulations until those rules, regulations and laws circle back to impact the rule making advocates.

(Via Washington Post) Drought or no drought, Steve Yuhas resents the idea that it is somehow shameful to be a water hog. If you can pay for it, he argues, you should get your water.

hypocrisy

People “should not be forced to live on property with brown lawns, golf on brown courses or apologize for wanting their gardens to be beautiful,” Yuhas fumed recently on social media. “We pay significant property taxes based on where we live,” he added in an interview. “And, no, we’re not all equal when it comes to water.”

Yuhas lives in the ultra-wealthy enclave of Rancho Santa Fe, a bucolic Southern California hamlet of ranches, gated communities and country clubs that guzzles five times more water per capita than the statewide average. In April, after Gov. Jerry Brown (D) called for a 25 percent reduction in water use, consumption in Rancho Santa Fe went up by 9 percent. (more…)

ABC's Stephanopoulos Challenges Clinton Cash Author: "Is There a Smoking Gun?"….

The Media Won’t Discuss The Nine CFIUS Signatories – Why Not?

Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer appeared on This Week and faced a very skeptical George Stephanopoulos, who argued that his accusations that Hillary Clinton exchanged favorable treatment from the U.S. State Department for multimillion dollar donations to the Clinton Foundation were unsubstantiated.
However, what ABC doesn’t tell YOU is that Stephanopoulos has a SEVERE conflict of interest about this story as it relates to its 2005 origin and his former Boss Bill Clinton.

It’s interesting that Stephanopoulos weighs his Clintonian defense so heavily on “CFIUS“, The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, and the “nine signatories” required for approval of the lucrative and coincidental Russian uranium deal. (more…)
