SEATTLE – Activists with Black Lives Matter protests halted a political rally in Seattle where Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was scheduled to speak on Saturday afternoon.

…”Sanders stood by silently the entire time. Eventually, organizers decided to end the event and the Vermont senator did not return to the microphone”….

“We’re shutting this event down — now,” said an activist who suddenly leapt on stage. She approached the microphone where Sanders had just begun speaking, thanking attendees for welcoming him to “one of most progressive cities in the United States of America.” An event organizer attempted to stop the activist, and a heated exchange ensued as the crowd booed. Most readers here are familiar with the set-up; Marilyn Mosby and Angela Corey followed the same plan. Unfortunately most of those who rely on the MSM will be unaware the extent of the prosecutor railroading.

This new motion by the defense reveals a few new aspects: 
#1) The prosecutor in charge of the case, Janice Bledsoe (also partner of WBAL-TV reporter) was the defense attorney for Freddie Gray in a prior case. 
#2) Bledsoe told police in this case, not to investigate the evidence that Gray ‘intentionally injured himself’. 
#3) Bledsoe also did not tell the Medical Examiner, that witness Donta Allen heard Gray trying to injure himself.  
BALTIMORE – The police detectives who investigated the death of Freddie Gray were told that he had a history of participating in “crash-for-cash” schemes — injuring himself in law enforcement settings to collect settlements — but were advised by a state prosecutor not to pursue the information, according to defense attorneys for the six officers charged in Gray’s arrest and death.  6:00 p.m.  Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong held a press conference at 6 p.m. today to update the search for the suspect who shot and killed Officer Sean Bolton. Here are the quick takeaways:

• · Suspect and driver fled the scene before officers could arrive
• · Police say Officer Bolton apparently interrupted drug transaction; scale and marijuana found in the car
• · Driver turn himself in, but he has since been released
• · 29-year-old Tremaine Willbourn is the wanted individual. Police believe he is the shooter.
• · Wilbourn was on supervised release for 121 month sentence for a bank robbery
• · Memphis police say Wilbourn should be considered armed and dangerous
• · $10,000 reward being offered by U.S. Marshals  (read more)

The Baltimore Sun is poring through 7,000 communiques from Baltimore city leadership surrounding the events of the Baltimore riots.

What the emails initially show is an inept structure of municipal leadership ill-prepared to deal with the crisis that surrounded them. In addition, their fear of self-preservation -amid a politically incorrect toxic fire of civil unrest- is evident in their stumbling, incompetent reaction to the chaos.

Everyone is in charge of something, and no-one in charge of everything.

“This issue needs to be corrected unless I am the only person who finds this unacceptable,” he wrote at 3:14 p.m. to various top mayoral aides. “Local news stations are reporting on what is happening, downtown buildings are closing early, and when the City looks to the Administration for leadership and answers, we don’t know or we are the last to provide any guidance due to this protocol.”

DeRay McKesson is one-half of the most hate-filled, lying and manipulatively destructive force in the U.S.  It was/is DeRay McKesson and Shaun King who promoted all the lies from Ferguson, to Baltimore, to McKinney Texas and Charleston South Carolina.  And more recently the suicide of Sandra Bland….

(Via Mediaite) Few activists in the Black Lives Matter movement have received the sort of glowing accolades from the left as DeRay McKesson. The Huffington Post has declared him “among the most widely recognized and respected young black civil rights activists.” Fortune declared him among the “World’s Greatest Leaders,” The Los Angeles Times hailed him as one of the “new civil rights leaders,” and New York Magazine gave him a fawning profile. Even Hillary Clinton invited him to her campaign (re-re-)launch.

At the same time, few activists have provoked the ire of the right wing to the extent DeRay has. His announcement that he would visit Charleston after the racist murder of nine people spawned thousands of tweets with the hashtag #GoHomeDeray. (more…)

Follow-Up To This Story

There’s a particular irony with the sister of Sandra Bland, Sharon Cooper, going on television to state she blames the Waller County Texas jail for her sister’s demise, when Sharon Cooper refused to aid Sandra while she was in jail for 3 days.

According to media reports the jail cell had a phone within it for use, and additionally allowed Ms. Bland to make at least five phone calls while she was held from a police desk outside her cell because she was having trouble with the phone.

Apparently, Ms. Bland was trying to put together $500 for a bond payment and none of her family, including her sister Sharon, were willing to assist.

Additionally, NBC in Chicago has found that Ms. Bland had a rather extensive history with driving violations including DUI’s and failure to pay fines associated with at least 10 infractions. (more…)

When you watch the video you realize why the city has refused to publicly release before now, and how dangerous the footage is to the politically correct BGI apologists. 

(Via Baltimore Sun) Newly released surveillance camera footage from the Baltimore riots shows chaos erupting at North and Pennsylvania avenues, where a crowd breaches and loots stores, destroys police vehicles and sets fires while police stay on the fringe of the action..

With the exception of a brief incursion by a SWAT team, the video shows that officers don’t move in for nearly 90 minutes, after the crowd has largely moved on. (more…)

WASHINGTON – A key part of President Obama’s legacy will be the fed’s unprecedented collection of sensitive data on Americans by race. The government is prying into our most personal information at the most local levels, all for the purpose of “racial and economic justice.”

Unbeknown to most Americans, Obama’s racial bean counters are furiously mining data on their health, home loans, credit cards, places of work, neighborhoods, even how their kids are disciplined in school — all to document “inequalities” between minorities and whites.

This Orwellian-style stockpile of statistics includes a vast and permanent network of discrimination databases, which Obama already is using to make “disparate impact” cases against: banks that don’t make enough prime loans to minorities; schools that suspend too many blacks; cities that don’t offer enough Section 8 and other low-income housing for minorities; and employers who turn down African-Americans for jobs due to criminal backgrounds.
