You might remember the corrupt Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby who attempted to make a national name for herself in the prosecution of the “Baltimore Six”; six police officers she charged in the death of Freddie Gray back in 2015.

As Baltimore burned amid political fuel driven by Black Lives Matter, Mosby was the lead narrative engineer who attempted to frame the six police officers for the death of Gray until her fraudulent charges collapsed in the first two officer trials which resulted in acquittal.

According to recent media reports Marilyn Mosby and her husband, Nick Mosby, the Baltimore city counsel president, are facing a federal indictment as a grand jury is hearing evidence about the couple using campaign funds to pay for their personal expenses. Not surprisingly the AME church network is also under investigation.

BALTIMORE – […] WBAL-TV reports that Marilyn Mosby is suspected of using campaign funds to pay personal legal fees. The couple’s bank statements, tax returns, canceled checks and credit card statements dating all the way back to 2014 have are all being sought for review by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice.

CTH Admin Stella reminded me of an article written in May of 2013 when CTH was urgently, desperately, trying to awaken more people to see the natural conclusion to the events unfolding.  Events we were directly challenging.

At the time George Zimmerman was under attack; then came Ferguson (Wilson -vs- Mike Brown); then Baltimore (Freddie Gray -vs- Baltimore Six); but the natural alignment… the purpose of the events… was a leftist probe into weaponized narrative engineering in order to advance completely false and fabricated stories.  The U.S. media were testing whether they could control the outlook of Americans.

The shift in attack direction from media at the time was alarming. No longer was the media trying to excuse the transparently guilty of accountability; starting in 2012 what the new-era attack angle started to do was falsely accuse the transparently innocent.

Read that again, because it was a profound difference; and inflection point.

Leftists in politics and media were probing their ability to engineer entirely false positions and assertions of facts. This was new because they were now aligning to target the innocent. In 2013 CTH was trying to warn; to tell the story of where this was going to end up.  The clarion call has a similar resonance today, albeit with an increased urgency.

An interesting juxtaposition provides yet another example of how national media shape their narratives.  Yesterday President Trump visited St. John’s church in Washington DC. Democrats and national media immediately declared it a stunt, a “photo op”.

However, at the same time President Trump was visiting St. Johns’, candidate Joe Biden was visiting Bethel AME church in Wilmington, Delaware, and the media were very careful to avoid labeling this captured moment:

Like the organized riots, looting and subsequent media political constructs, the Biden strategy is heavily scripted and not organic.  From the moment representative James Clyburn aligned his network with Barack Obama’s Chicago machine there has been a strategy at work.

Clyburn uses the old-fashioned racial playbook through the AME church network.  The AME network includes Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.  Meanwhile Obama historically used the modern race-based network: the Nation of Islam and New Black Panther Party.  The NoI and NBPP are also allied with DNC Chairman Tom Perez.

Tom Perez was the head of the DOJ Civil Rights Division… which is not coincidental because the election of 2020 is the second time both networks have merged upon, and attempted to activate, the Black Lives Matter crowd.  The first time they merged was in Orlando and Miami during the 2012 “Justice for Trayvon” movement.

Taken in the abstract, the ridiculous claim of the fake documentary filmmaker Jason Pollock (unhinged version seen here) seems like the typical leftist approach at manufacturing controversy in an effort for financial gain. St Louis prosecutor Robert McCulloch responds here.  Outline article here.
Wrongful death lawsuits are often aided by public pressure, and the opinion of the public creating that pressure is frequently manipulated by the media; ergo there’s a natural connection between the professionally aggrieved and the media who sell the cause of the grievance.

However, beyond the abstract there’s a network of affiliated political interests who also stimulate the individual events in order to promote their own highly politicized endeavors.
That’s where people like George Soros and the various Democrat Organizations step in to fund the processes of the aggrieved.  The individual events become the tinder for the larger fires of national political manipulation.
So it may not be entirely disconnected that at the EXACT same time Jason Pollock is selling his fake and misleading documentary, another familiar face shows up in Dallas Texas to sell another race-based lawsuit: (more…)

Interesting development in the aftermath of the Baltimore Six trials in the death of Freddie Gray.   A federal judge, Marvin J Garbis, has allowed a “malicious prosecution and defamation” lawsuit against Baltimore Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby to proceed.
Ms. Mosby’s position was that she held absolute prosecutorial immunity from actions taken as a state’s attorney.
Under normal prosecutorial constructs her office would most likely be correct. However, the judge rightly pointed out that Mosby conducted an independent investigation using her office for more than just prosecution:

“Plaintiffs’ malicious prosecution claims relate to her actions when functioning as an investigator and not as a prosecutor,” Garbis wrote. –link–

You might remember, almost all of the initial findings -used to construct the original charging documents against the Baltimore officers- stemmed from Ms. Mosby’s own independent investigation of fact.
It appears Marilyn Mosby’s independent approach, to ensure the officer’s arrests and prosecution, could now be her own undoing.  Judge Garbis attaches direct liability to her for actions, behaviors and decisions she exclusively controlled.
All claims against the state were dismissed by Garbis, but the claims against Ms. Mosby will go forward:

Everywhere you look the end of each year brings forth a series of lists outlining some variant of an annual summation.   We don’t traditionally assemble anything like that – however, this year my thoughts have been on specifically domestic stories that have not received the attention they deserve.
With that in mind, here’s my Top Ten list of domestic, mostly political, stories that I view have not been discussed with the importance or emphasis they should have carried:
#10 – Jeb’s failure to launch.  When you think about the years of strategic planning that went into a Jeb Bush presidential campaign, well, the scope Jeb’s failure to launch just exemplifies how disconnected the professional republican apparatus was from the average voter.  The party apparatchik genuinely believed Jeb Bush had a chance at winning the nomination.  Hundreds of millions of corporate and individual dollars, from major GOP donors, contributed to a campaign that was intensely futile, but the people supporting Jeb seemed oblivious to the reality.  Almost every incumbent republican politician aligned with his campaign.  Their collective disconnect from the feeling of the average American voter was definitely under reported.

The Marilyn Mosby press conference today (dropping charges in Baltimore), followed the carefully scripted DNC Convention presentation of the Black Lives Matter “Mothers of The Movement” last night.

Anyone watching current events who claims these two events were not strategically timed to occur sequentially is being obtuse.

Baltimore Mayor Rawlings-Blake is the DNC Convention Chairperson by design. The timing of the press conference, by Baltimore Attorney General Marilyn Mosby, was also by design.   The Democrat party is notorious for framing the narrative and the optics which fuel the media cycles.

Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby has dropped all charges against the remaining police officers (video below).  All charges were dropped against all the officers who faced trial in connection with the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray April 2015.

The decision was announced during pretrial motions for Officer Garrett Miller, who was the next to face charges of second-degree assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment.

Four Baltimore officers previously stood trial.  Judge Barry Williams acquitted three: Edward Nero, Officer Caesar Goodson Jr. and Lt. Brian Rice.

William Porter’s trial ended in a hung jury in December, and was scheduled for a retrial in  September. Garrett Miller was beginning today, and Alicia White had a court date in October.  The charges against these officers has been withdrawn.

However, stunningly, in announcing her decision Marilyn Mosby actually blamed the black judge, Barry Williams, for her decision.  Excerpt from the Baltimore Sun (emphasis mine): (more…)

Officer Brian Rice has been acquitted of all charges by Baltimore Judge Barry Williams (full ruling pdf embed below).  Rice is the third of four officers accused to have been acquitted of all charges; the fourth, officer Porter, ended with a mistrial:

[…] “prosecutors have failed to meet their burden of proving the charges beyond a reasonable doubt, instead asking the court to rely on presumptions or assumptions something it cannot do. The court cannot be swayed by sympathy, prejudice or public opinion.”

Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby has now tried four of the six Baltimore officers and, as further evidence of the ridiculousness of her attempts, she has not been able to achieve any convictions.

Closing arguments concluded today in the bench trial of Lieutenant Brian Rice.  Prosecutors called 12 witnesses over four days, and Rice’s defense team called four witnesses.  Judge Barry Williams has stated he will issue his verdict Monday at 10:00am.
After the prosecution finished laying out their case Judge Williams threw out the 2nd degree assault charge stating the state had failed to provide enough evidence to support the charge.
The remaining charges against Lt. Rice were: involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment and misconduct in office.  Rice is the highest ranking officer of the six charged in the case.
