First Baltimore Riot Bill Comes Due: $20,000,000 – Baltimore City Leadership Send Bill To FEMA, Forces All Americans To Pay….

It takes some kind of nerve to intentionally “provide space for people to destroy” a city, and then ask everyone who doesn’t live in the city to pay for it.

…”The $20 million estimate released by city officials does not include the cost to businesses of the unrest. The figure also does not include state or federal costs. It’s unclear when those figures will be tallied”…

Look closely at the business visited by Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings in this tweet she sent today:

You might remember this same business became a victim of Mayor Rawlings decision to allow the rioting mob “space to destroy”. (more…)

Rand Paul Out Maneuvers Mitch McConnell On Spy Power Extension Bill – (aka NSA Reauthorization)

McConnell (majority leader), and Cornyn (majority whip), lost this one.
mcconnell-cornyn
(Via The Hill) Mitch McConnell staged an epic gamble over U.S. spying powers — and lost.
The Republican leader pledged to keep senators in Washington through the weekend to finish work on expiring provisions of the Patriot Act, but Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) called his bluff.
Instead, when the smoke cleared in the early hours of Saturday morning, the 2016 presidential contender was the one with bragging rights.
The battle between the two Kentucky Republicans spilled over on the Senate floor, with Paul using procedural tactics to force the chamber into an early Saturday vote. He then used his leverage to kill off McConnell’s repeated attempts to reauthorize the expiring National Security Agency (NSA) programs — first for two months, then for eight days, then for five, then three, then two. Waco "Twin Peaks" Shooting Updates: 14 Police Officers Fired "thousands of rounds" on 200 Bikers Killing 9, Wounding 18 – Two Thirds Of Those Arrested Had No Prior Criminal History…

IRONY – The death toll from the “Twin Peaks” shootout was greater than the total number of homicides Waco police investigated in all of 2014 – And all of the “Twin Peaks” dead were shot by police.

waco 8Previously Waco Police Spokesman W. Patrick Swanton stated 22 members of law enforcement were present prior to the outbreak of the shooting.  Including 10 members of the Waco SWAT unit, 2 sergeants, 1 rookie, the Asst. Police Chief and 4 state troopers.
Newly released information today includes the Waco Police stating 14 Waco PD officers were involved in firing shots which killed 9 bike club members and wounded 18 more.

The 14 officers involved in the gun battle are all now on administrative leave, which is standard protocol in officer-involved shootings, Swanton said. (link)

In addition Sgt Swanton previously stated that all of the 170 arrested bikers were known “criminal gang members”.  However, a review by the Associated Press of court records finds at least 115 of the 170 had no police records: (more…)

ABC's Stephanopoulos Challenges Clinton Cash Author: "Is There a Smoking Gun?"….

The Media Won’t Discuss The Nine CFIUS Signatories – Why Not?

Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer appeared on This Week and faced a very skeptical George Stephanopoulos, who argued that his accusations that Hillary Clinton exchanged favorable treatment from the U.S. State Department for multimillion dollar donations to the Clinton Foundation were unsubstantiated.
However, what ABC doesn’t tell YOU is that Stephanopoulos has a SEVERE conflict of interest about this story as it relates to its 2005 origin and his former Boss Bill Clinton.

It’s interesting that Stephanopoulos weighs his Clintonian defense so heavily on “CFIUS“, The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, and the “nine signatories” required for approval of the lucrative and coincidental Russian uranium deal. (more…)

CNN Is "All In" With Wall To Wall Coverage of Freddie Gray Story In Baltimore….

Because the Freddie Gray story advances a specific narrative right in the sweet spot for check-box progressives who deliver liberal punditry on the network and try to convince America that it’s the majority view.

And the local liberal media in/around Baltimore Maryland are just giddy with praise.

Baltimore Sun: “When it comes to television, CNN has been in a league by itself in covering the Freddie Gray story“…

The professionally aggrieved have once again found a friend in CNN.

BINGO – Donors To The Clinton Foundation Swaying State Dept. Investigation – The Motive Surfaces….

This could be a bigger deal that what originally appears on the surface. It’s one of those things that make other things make sense.

For several years people have wondered what would be the specific benefit to foreign entities sending millions of dollars to the Clinton Family Foundation while Hillary was Secretary of State.

Obviously most of the outside interest is directed toward inquiry and concern of a quid-pro-quo relationship between the State Dept and the donor itself.
However, HotAir shares a specific example that might actually make more sense when considering the contributions on a larger context.
The U.S. State Dept is responsible for oversight of sanctions imposed against nation states like Iran and Cuba. If an entity, individual or nation state, wanted to engage in a business deal in direct violation of those sanctions, and do business with Iran or Cuba, a direct donation to the head of the body who would be in charge of the oversight might help your efforts.
