The total number of suspects is six. Two different incidents, within hours – same suspects. Sketch of 3 suspects released. Horrific brutal attacks, rapes and robbery.  The story is 3 days old, and the national news has avoided it.

DETROIT (WWJ) – The hunt is on for a group of men in Detroit who allegedly attacked two couples while they were walking down the street, forcing the male victim to watch as his female companion is gang raped.

The first incident unfolded around 11:30 p.m. Thursday in a well-lit area near McNichols Road and Birwood Street. The alleged attack happened in a northwest neighborhood just blocks away from Marygrove College.

According to police, a 22-year-old man and his 21-year-old girlfriend were walking along McNichols when they were approached by a group of six men. The men reportedly forced the couple behind a nearby business where they were robbed and stripped of their clothes.

The group then allegedly took turns sexually assaulting the woman. After the attack was over, the nude victims ran to a nearby liquor store for help. (more…)

You just can’t make this stuff up. Baltimore Mayor Rawlings-Blake claims many cities are jealous of the duration of the arson, looting, riots and lawlessness. It only lasted a “few hours”, and “many cities would be proud of that accomplishment”….

WASHINGTON – A key part of President Obama’s legacy will be the fed’s unprecedented collection of sensitive data on Americans by race. The government is prying into our most personal information at the most local levels, all for the purpose of “racial and economic justice.”

Unbeknown to most Americans, Obama’s racial bean counters are furiously mining data on their health, home loans, credit cards, places of work, neighborhoods, even how their kids are disciplined in school — all to document “inequalities” between minorities and whites.

(Via Baltimore Sun) A Baltimore police officer was stabbed multiple times after responding to a domestic incident at an apartment building housing mostly University of Baltimore students early Saturday morning, police and school officials said.

The officer had responded to The Varsity on W. Biddle Street when he was stabbed in the face and neck, police said. James Goss, 20, was taken into custody at the scene. He faces 12 charges, including attempted murder and assault.

The officer was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center and his condition is serious but stable, police said. The department did not name the officer but said the 15-year veteran is married and has a young daughter.

Interim Commissioner Kevin Davis called the incident “a violent attack by a deranged knife-wielding predator.” (more…)

Supernova levels of “gaslighting” at work.   It sure would be problematic for the administration that has done little (ie. nothing) to combat growing islamic extremism if ISIS was reflected as the cause of 5 marines killed in Tennessee.

As a consequence, ignore the social media of Abdulazeez; ignore the connections to radical Islam and his radical mosque; ignore the visits to Jordan and Yemen; ignore his glorification of the Islamic State (ISIS) on his social media.  Ignore all that stuff folks, the FBI says – nothing to see here folks, move along, move along.  “Lone wolf”, gotta be.

WASHINGTON DC – Authorities are declining to link the shootings in Chattanooga, Tenn., that killed four Marines on Thursday to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) despite a suggestion from the House Homeland Security Committee chairman that the gunman was inspired by the terror group.

“At this time, we have no indication that he was inspired by or directed by anyone other than himself,” Ed Reinhold, the FBI agent in charge, said of the shooter, identified as 24-year-old Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez, during a news conference Friday.

Reinhold added that law enforcement will continue explore any potential link to terror groups. (more…)

New Orleans – Opponents of the proposed removal of Confederate memorials in New Orleans are using social media to organize the fight to keep them where they stand.

What started out as an effort to keep the statue of Robert E. Lee atop his column in Lee Circle, has expanded its mission to include defending all of the statues and monuments dedicated to the Confederacy.

The City Council, at Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s request, has begun a formal hearing process that could result in the removal of Lee and monuments dedicated to P.G.T. Beauregard, another Confederate general; Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederacy; and the Battle of Liberty Place, a bloody confrontation instigated by ex-Confederates who launched a failed coup against Louisiana’s Reconstruction government. Things that make other things make sense – Oh boy, it looks like Marilyn “By-Any-Means-Necessary” Mosby has some serious issues in the background of her family and their life of crime while carrying badges.

WASHINGTON – Marilyn Mosby, the Baltimore City State’s Attorney, catapulted to national fame when she decided in early May to prosecute six police officers for the death of Freddie Gray. In her remarks, Mosby used her family of Boston police officers as a shield against critics who said she could not fairly prosecute the case.

“To the rank-and-file officers of the Baltimore City Police Department, please know that these accusations of these six officers are not an indictment on the entire force,” said Mosby. “I come from five generations of law enforcement. My father was an officer. My mother was an officer. Several of my aunts and uncles.”

Sources told me to look into Mosby’s family’s personnel records at the Boston Police Department. Two months ago, I put in Public Records Law request for personnel records for Mosby’s mother and two uncles. (more…)

The ongoing mountain of evidence continues to accumulate that Baltimore Prosecutor, Marilyn Mosby, intentionally manipulated the Freddie Gray investigation to construct a false case against the Baltimore Six officers.

Two significant issues.  #1) Mosby was denied a search warrant, and then her office went shopping for a Judge who would approve one, a legal no-no.  #2) The affidavit for the Search Warrant itself reflects the police merely detained Gray, until they discovered and illegal knife in his pocket – then he was placed under arrest. 

To the second point, remember Mosby initially proclaimed the police never had reason to arrest Freddie Gray; yet now in her own affidavit -in her own words- to a judge, it is revealed the police did have cause to arrest.

BALTIMORE – Defense attorneys for the officers charged in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray are accusing prosecutors of misconduct by “judge-shopping” to get a search warrant approved.

In the latest filing in the case, the defense attorneys cite a police memo turned over by prosecutors that indicates an April 24 application for a warrant to search the officers’ phones was rejected by a District Court judge, who found it lacked probable cause.

Three days later, an officer writes in the memo, a prosecutor called and said he or she had found a judge who had agreed to sign the warrants. (more…)
