Oh we know exactly where this is going. This was predicted ten years ago by people who were very familiar with what the Far-Left Strain of Democrat Progressives (Fabian’s) were going to go…. The key to knowing where this heads, is to understand the “control” element in making people dependent on you and your representation for their capacity in life. Democrats are modern day “share-croppers”.
WASHINGTON — Calling the labor movement in crisis, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka says he will push far-reaching changes at the federation’s convention next month, including forging closer partnerships and even accepting as members such outside groups as the Sierra Club and the NAACP.
The changes, some of which will require amending the AFL-CIO’s bylaws, are part of a strategy aimed at reviving the labor movement’s falling clout and recasting it as a champion for American workers generally, not just for the declining ranks of dues-paying union members. (more…)
(Via WFB) A judge ordered one of Chicago’s most politically powerful labor unions to suspend picketing against 16 funeral homes last week after receiving reports that striking Teamsters had, among other things, disturbed a child’s funeral.
SCI Illinois Services, Inc., one of the nation’s largest funeral home chains, asked a district court to intervene after striking funeral directors and drivers with Teamsters Local 727 allegedly harassed grieving families.
“We are grateful that the court agreed to issue this temporary restraining order, and we are hopeful that it will help protect grieving families who are experiencing the most difficult times of their lives,” Larry Michael, managing director for SCI Illinois Services, Inc., said in a release. “While we recognize and respect the Teamsters’ right to lawfully picket, we have been shocked and saddened by their attempts to make grieving families the target of the cruel and outrageous attacks.” (more…)
Many people are framing the difference between the “libertarian wing” of the GOP against the “Decepticon wing” of the GOP establishment, as a point where libertarians meet left-wing progressives on the political spectrum. (Looking at you Brit Hume)
This is ideologically and fundamentally wrong, and leading to confusion. So let me interject after the Hannity video and reset the framework so that a larger understanding is intellectually absorbed. First the video:
Here is where the Patriot movement gets lost amid the talking heads. (more…)
WASHINGTON POST – Last night’s not-guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman trial will enable the neighborhood-watch volunteer to resume his case against NBC News for the mis-editing of his widely distributed call to police. Back in December, Zimmerman sued NBC Universal Media for defamation over the botched editing, which depicted him as a hardened racial profiler. […]

NBC Universal Media responded to the Zimmerman complaint by noting that other media outlets played up the racial angle of Zimmerman’s deadly encounter with Trayvon Martin.
The company also noted the pivotal nature of the second-degree murder case: “[I]f Zimmerman is convicted, that fact alone will constitute substantial evidence that the destruction of his reputation is the result of his own criminal conduct, and not of the broadcasts at issue which, like countless other news reports disseminated by media entities throughout the country, reported on the underlying events.” (more…)
While you were sleeping, or otherwise distracted by the shiny things dispatched by Scandalpalooza, the usurpation continues.
WASHINGTON DC – After three long weeks of hearings and debates, spectators burst out into screams and applause Tuesday night after the Senate Judiciary Committee approved an immigration bill that would be the biggest overhaul to the nation’s immigration laws in a generation.
The bill was produced by a bipartisan group of senators known as the Gang of Eight. With four of those members on the committee, the bill survived more than 200 proposed amendments over five lengthy hearings.
Left intact was the core of the bill, which will allow the nation’s 11 million unauthorized immigrants to apply for U.S. citizenship, add significant investments in border security and fundamentally alter the legal immigration system of the future. (more…)
WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups.

Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd.
Lerner was [is] scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday. (more…)

Predictions:
1. ISOLATE – Attach the word “birther” or “birtherism” or “extremist” to the people who are demanding White House transparency and investigation.
2. RIDICULE – Position all of the investigations as “attacks” against and targeting the President. This helps play the race card.
3. MARGINALIZE – Talk up the willingness of staffers to cooperate as a tool for diminishing the severity of the accusations/charges. Highlight supporters (unions) to the presidential agenda.
Thermonuclear Splodey Head Warning: Liberals Coast To Coast rabid with worry about the potential sale of the Tribune Co. media organization to the Koch Brothers.
Nothing would bring such joy to the Patriot movement than to see this sale take place. Far-left “Liberals” have historically held a death grip on the media complex – this would be a serious blow to their media stranglehold.
Los Angeles […] As Tribune Co. emerges from a four-year bankruptcy, the predominantly Democratic city is quivering at the rumor that libertarian billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch may be interested in buying the LA Times. The brothers are believed to be the only group prepared to buy all eight Tribune papers, including the Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun, Orlando Sentinel and Hartford Courant, as a package — how Tribune would like to sell them. Doing the legwork the Legacy Media will not provide. Understand exactly how radical this nominee is, then ask yourself: Where’s the pushback?
WASHINGTON DC – A vote on President Barack Obama’s controversial labor secretary nominee was postponed after Republican Senators summoned a whistleblower to testify before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committee.

Politico reported on Wednesday that Frederick Newell, a St. Paul, Minnesota community activist, will appear before the committee to discuss the $200 million whistleblower lawsuit that Tom Perez, the head of the Department of Justice’s civil rights enforcement, allegedly dismissed as part of a quid pro quo deal with the city. The city withdrew a Supreme Court case that threatened to overturn disparate impact, a racial discrimination doctrine that Perez supports, in exchange for the DOJ dropping the whistleblower suit.
