Report: Israel and Egypt Told John Kerry To Stay Out of Ceasefire Negotiations – But Secretary Kerry Kept Insisting…

A recent report into the inside contacts surrounding a Hamas / Israeli negotiated ceasefire confirms –with exact precisionwhat we predicted was happening at the time.

Obama(Via WFB) Secretary of State John Kerry offered numerous times to fly to Cairo or Jerusalem to assist in cease-fire negotiations but was told that the sides “didn’t need American mediation,” according to an account of events by Haaretz.
Senior Israeli officials told Haaretz that Kerry offered to come to directly join the talks in each and every call during the attempted brokering of a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas on Monday, but was “politely rejected” by all sides.
Egypt wanted to prove that it could play its traditional diplomatic role with regards to Gaza without U.S. assistance. Israel thought that a visit by Kerry would make it look like the United States pressured Israel to make a deal, which would have been a public relations victory for Hamas. (more…)

Flight of The Carrier Smidgens

Pivan-Cloward(Kurt Schlichter) Liberals will tell you that the IRS scandal is a “phony scandal,” apparently because using the federal government as a tool of oppression against one’s political opponents is A-OK as long as the ones using it are liberals and the ones being oppressed are conservatives.
Remember, scratch a liberal and it’ll bleed fascist brown.
So why not start off your discussion with your liberal conversationalist pal by posing that basic question:  Is it okay, or is it not okay, to use federal agencies to harass and persecute your political opponents?
Now to us, because we are decent people and real Americans, the answer is “No,” but most hardcore liberals truly believe that it’s absolutely acceptable for Barack Obama to oppress his political opponents using the federal agencies under his control.  To them, the rules and rights that protect all Americans only protect all Americans that they agree with. This Has To Be California – Most Annoying Customer Service Rep EVER

There’s some terminology in the phone call I’ve never heard before and my spidey sense tells me: probably California.   You decide…..

comcast(BBC NEWS) Mr. Ryan Block simply wanted to cancel his Comcast internet service.  Instead of a short phone call with the company, however, his experience turned into a 20-minute ordeal, as Block and his wife were berated by a Comcast “retention specialist” who doggedly refused to accept the request.

“Help me understand why you don’t want faster internet?” he repeatedly asked. “I’m trying to help you. You’re not letting me help you.”
Mr Block, a technology journalist who works for AOL, recorded the final eight minutes of the call and shared the audio with his 82,000 Twitter followers. The speed at which the clip went viral – the Soundcloud audio file had almost 4 million plays within two days – reflects that Mr Block is not alone in his frustration with major telecommunications providers.

Democrats To Republicans: 'Give Obama His $3.7 Billion, Or We Won't Deport Illegals' – Democrats Refuse To Change 2008 Trafficking Law Unless GOP Give Obama $3.7 Billion…

It’s just how they roll.   The Democrats in DC will not allow changes to the 2008 law they claim is the source of the problem for unaccompanied minors, ie. “the border crisis”, unless the GOP cough up the $3.7 billion that Obama claims is needed because the law has not been changed…..

…. Nonsensical, yeah, we know, but that’s the Democrats’ position and they’re sticking to it.

Pelosi Gavel
WASHINGTON DC – Republicans and Democrats in the House are clashing over whether changes to a 2008 human trafficking law should be included in emergency legislation for the border.
Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Tuesday morning said he would seek to link changes to the trafficking law to the emergency funding, with Republicans making a final decision on their strategy by the end of the week.
Republicans have blamed the influx of children at the border on the 2008 law, which they say has served as an incentive for people to enter the United States. The law allows minors entering the country from Central America, but not Mexico, to request asylum hearings.
House Democrats are balking at the push, arguing the debate over the trafficking law should be kept separate. (more…)

NEW YORK – In his new full-length documentary film, “There’s No Place Like Utopia,” Joel Gilbert found Peggy Joseph, the Florida voter who became infamous during the 2008 presidential campaign for saying Barack Obama would “pay for my gas and my mortgage.”

Surprisingly, some six years into the Obama presidency, Joseph has turned against the president, disappointed that he did not deliver on his “hope and change” campaign promises.

Illegal Is, Well, Illegal – Illegal Alien Journalist Who Mocked US Immigration Laws And Dared ICE To Arrest Him Taken Into Custody By ICE…

Update at bottom 8:23pm they let him out

Several days ago I read an article outlining the mockery of Mr. Vargas toward ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). Apparently he’s been detained by the ICE employees he’s worked so diligently to ridicule…. Just deserts.
vargas(CNN) — Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and undocumented immigrant Jose Antonio Vargas suspected he wouldn’t get out.
His fear came to fruition Tuesday morning when he was detained at a Texas airport as he tried to pass through security en route to Los Angeles, his spokesman said.
Vargas was being held at a detention center at the airport in McAllen, Texas, spokesman Ryan Eller said.
Official word on why he was detained wasn’t immediately available, but Tania Chavez, an undocumented youth leader who met with Vargas recently and has accompanied him around the McAllen area, told CNN that Vargas was detained because he does not have the proper documentation. (more…)

Glenn Beck Discusses Border Crisis and His Charity Plan – The Bold and Sanctimonious Tour

Glenn Beck joined Bill O’Reilly last night to talk about his planned border visit and the “angry death threats” he’s gotten from conservatives for doing so. Beck said he understands the anger, but insisted he has a “responsibility to God” to put aside politics and help people in need.

Beck said he’s raised $1.8 million dollars so far, but acknowledges the frustration many have with the broken immigration system. He said there are “some people [that] believe that I’m just gonna make things worse” and even “encouraging people to come here.”
