I think it is imperative that we look at the Keystone Pipeline as what I believe it is, a distraction from important work we have to do on climate change. (Via NBC) The U.S. is offering new details about its plan to ease the Syrian refugee crisis by significantly increasing the number of worldwide refugees it will take in over the next two years.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says the U.S. will accept 85,000 refugees from around the world next year, up from 70,000, and the number will rise to 100,000 in 2017. (more…)

On Sept. 26, CGI, a branch of the Clinton Foundation, convenes its 11th annual meeting with a star-studded cast. Bill and Chelsea Clinton will be joined by Ashley Judd, Charlize Theron, Edward Norton, Ted Danson, Tina Brown, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Sir Richard Branson, Bill Gates and George Soros. What will be missing is more than a million dollars from a who’s who of corporate behemoths that sponsored the meeting last year. If you thought Secretary Kerry’s 2013 “Jobs for Jihadists” program was goofy, wait until you read about this one. 
The U.S. federal government is announcing a new program called CVE (Counter Violent Extremism) in Minneapolis Minnesota.  Under the U.S. program, authorized by President Obama, Somali Muslims living in Minnesota will be paid not to go on terror rampages. or blow themselves up. 

…”Led by a taskforce of 15 Somali Americans and a traditional community grant-making organization, the Counter Violent Extremism (CVE) program is the brainchild of the chief federal prosecutor for Minnesota, Andrew Luger. […]  The goal is to prevent youth recruitment by overseas extremist groups such as Isis or al-Shabaab”…. 

Any individual found engaged in an act of violent jihad will have their monthly payment stopped, and all federal income subsides removed. They’re calling it “crime prevention“, so there’s always that….

The cafe is right near the mosque on the top floor of the building, past rows of entrepreneurs selling wares in individual stalls, sipping hot drinks in small cups and chatting in Somali.

Nice to be able to defraud the U.S. Treasury for thousands of dollars, and then feign ignorance blaming your husband’s record keeping, and get away with it.

(Via Daily Mail) Federal investigators targeted top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin last year after they learned that she was paid for time she didn’t work during the former secretary of state’s time in office – but Abedin blamed her husband, the disgraced former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner.
Abedin, who was Clinton’s deputy chief of staff for four years, explained a series of inappropriate overtime payments, excessive hours, and repeated leaves of absence as the products of Weiner’s poor record-keeping. She was even paid for eight hours work on the day she was in labor. (more…)

Well, this is either incompetence or willful blindness.  The U.S. State Department now saying they were unaware the “transparency czar”, who happens to be in charge of Hillary’s email release, was a donor to Clinton’s campaign….
(Via The Daily Caller) The State Department admitted on Wednesday that it did not know that a career diplomat hired as the agency’s new email and transparency czar donated the maximum allowed under federal law to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Regardless of that potential conflict of interest, agency spokesman John Kirby also acknowledged that the new hire, Janice Jacobs, will likely be involved in processing Clinton’s emails. (more…)

Yes, he actually did that.  Secretary Kerry has created a new position within the U.S. State Department to insure they stop lying…. seriously.  This is supposed to make us feel better.  A transparency “email” monitor within the U.S. State Department.
Of course, the appointed Truth and Transparency Czar is a career politician highly skilled in deceit and manipulation.  Go figure.
(CNN) – Secretary of State John Kerry has tapped a former career diplomat as an “email czar” to coordinate the State Department response to the myriad of document requests mostly related to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, which have strained the department’s resources, officials familiar with the appointment tell CNN.
Janice Jacobs will serve as Kerry’s State Department’s Transparency Coordinator, charged with responding to Freedom of Information Act and congressional requests faster and more efficiently and improving the State Department systems for keeping records. (more…)
