Trying to get a straight answer out of the State Department about Hillary Clinton’s emails is always a frustrating exercise. However, the traditional group of newly minted fraternity and sorority journalistas thought they’d give it a go. Predictably, it didn’t work out.
The millenials sighed for the eleventy-fifth time and went back to their iPhone quest for the latest Pokemon capture. Then something odd happened:
Spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau is being obtuse about the 44 newly-released emails which show Clinton’s team in the State Department setting up business for the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative through the use of the Secretary of State’s office.
The emails being discussed were not in the original 30,000 handed over to the State Department, despite Clinton’s claims she turned over all work-related emails. (more…)
