(Via Washington Free Beacon) A little-known private foundation controlled by Bill and Hillary Clinton donated $100,000 to the New York Times’ charitable fund in 2008, the same year the newspaper’s editorial page endorsed Clinton in the Democratic presidential primary, according to tax documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.
The Clinton Family Foundation, a separate entity from the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, has been the family’s vehicle for personal charitable giving since 2001.
It is funded directly by the Clintons and distributes more than $1 million a year to civic and educational causes.
The New York Times Neediest Cases Fund is a charity affiliated with the newspaper that assists underprivileged New Yorkers. It is run by members of the New York Times Company’s board of directors and senior executives. (read more)

….. And yet no-one heard anything? Seriously?
Question: How exactly do you cut through rebar and a two steel 1/4″ thick steam pipes, in the middle of the night, and yet no-one could hear it happening? Answer: You don’t.
Only one logical possibility: The escapees didn’t do it during the middle of the night. The construction workers who were doing work on the facility did the noisy cutting work during the day at some point, any point, days or even weeks prior to the escape.

June 6th, the anniversary of D-Day, the allied landing to free Europe from Nazi occupation. June 6th 1944, Operation Overlord began.
One might think a passing notation from our president would be appropriate for an anniversary where 6,500 allies, mostly American, died every single day, from the beginning of D-Day to the end of the Normandy Campaign on August 21st 1944, when the tide turned in our favor and Nazi Germany began their retreat.
One might think, but you’d also be wrong.
No, instead President Obama choses to focus his weekly address today on his pledge to continue allowing illegal immigration to undermine the very essence of American Exceptionalism. After all, it is prudent to remember, President Obama has priorities.
But even in his self-appreciative ego-driven proclamations of his own magnanimity, he still hides the underlying truth. His “executive action” was far more than he pontificates in the message above. (prompted to 02:08 through 02:35 so you can see for yourself)

Most of us here can easily connect the dots, but you’d be surprised at how many around you cannot…. It is for them, the cattle cars seem to be an option.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — With Californians tasked to cut back water during a four-year drought, the sound of water run-off has become a call to action.
California’s Placer County Water Agency has two new smart phone apps, launched last October.
One app is a shower timer, which converts time in shower to gallons of water used. The second, sure to be more discussed, allows people to report water wasters.
“Customers can take pictures of water wasters, send it to us. It’ll include two GPS locations so we can follow up,” said Ross Branch of the Placer County Water Agency, whose district is the Sierra Nevada foothills that extends to Lake Tahoe.
You’d have to go more that a little deep into the article to see the part where “Four Salvadorian Nationals“, are under arrest for the most brutal and barbaric rape of a 16-year-old.
Those same “Salvadorian Nationals” are also known as the “2014 Unaccompanied Alien Children” that Glenn Beck and Dana Loesch were desperate to provide ‘teddy bears and soccer balls’ for last summer.

For some reason NBC seemingly overlooks that part. I digress….
New York […] “This is one of the most brutal, heinous crimes that I have seen in a long, long time,” Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said at a news conference following the suspects’ arraignments. “This poor young woman is so lucky that, quite frankly, that she is alive. These are vicious young men, vicious young men and what they did to her was absolutely terrible.”
Previously Marilyn Mosby submitted a motion to keep the Medical Examiner’s report secret, and to keep the media from seeing elements of evidence in her case.
BALTIMORE – Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby has until June 26 to respond to three defense motions in the high-stakes trial of six officers in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray, a judge has ordered.
Attorneys for the six Baltimore Police officers have motioned for Mosby to be removed from the case, for the case to be removed from Baltimore and for the case to be dismissed based on “prosecutorial misconduct.”
The defense attorneys have argued Mosby has multiple conflicts of interest, including that her husband, City Councilman Nick Mosby, represents the area of West Baltimore where Gray was arrested. (more…)
The desperation of the New York Times is ridiculous. The Washington Free Beacon has essentially busted the New York Times for using Hillary Clinton opposition research to frame a ridiculous story about Marco Rubio getting four driving tickets in the past two decades.
The Times attempts to bolster the source of their information by denying the allegations of source origination to Politico Magazine. However, the denial of the New York Times is provably false.
All of this NYT effort to highlight what exactly? That Marco Rubio has had, and paid, traffic tickets. Seriously?
Meanwhile Candidate Clinton has admitted she doesn’t drive and has been driven around by chauffers’ for so long she doesn’t even know if she could drive.
“The last time I actually drove a car myself was 1996,” the 66-year-old Clinton told the audience. “And I remember it very well, and so does the Secret Service, which is why I haven’t driven since then.” (link)
There’s an opportunity for a campaign commercial here that could very well highlight Rubio’s advantage and optimistic views, while simultaneously spotlighting the old and out of touch limo-liberalism reflected by Hillary Clinton.
A cynically minded person might be inclined to think the White House is strategically trying to position the hearing a far distance from the release of the Gitmo 5 detainees so that juxtapositions cannot be drawn. Nah, couldn’t be...
(Via Stars and Stripes) The Army says it has pushed back the date for a preliminary hearing for Bowe Bergdahl, the sergeant who left his post in Afghanistan and was held by the Taliban for five years.
Bergdahl is charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.
His hearing had been scheduled for July 8.
But the Army says that at the request of Bergdahl’s lawyers, the hearing was put off until Sept. 17 at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston in Texas. (more…)
