Jay Sekulow outlines the case [Video Here] that President Obama set-up a plan for the intelligence community to target President Trump.

Specifically through the use of a lame-duck executive order, President Obama authorized multiple intelligence agencies to have access to Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) including phone call intercepts.

(Via ACLJ) […]  First, as the New York Times reported earlier this week, in its final days, the Obama Administration expanded the power of the National Security Agency (NSA) to share globally intercepted personal communication with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies before applying any privacy protections.

The new rules were issued under section 2.3 of Executive Order 12333 after approval by two Obama Administration officials: Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Director of National Intelligence Director, James Clapper.

After passing confirmation, representative Mick Mulvaney was sworn in tonight as Director of the Office of Management and Budget.
Vice-President Mike Pence coordinated Director Mulvaney’s commission ceremony.

As most CTH readers are aware, ‘cantalopes‘ was the one cabinet selection that gives us the greatest GOPe trepidation. Watching the ceremonial process itself, the prior concerns are not assuaged.  Mulvaney is now, essentially, the CFO of the Trump White House.

Today WikiLeaks drops a bombshell exposing President Obama and Hillary Clinton using the CIA to manipulate the outcome of the 2012 election in France (full pdf below).
According to documents released today by WikiLeaks the CIA ordered covert targeted activity in the 2012 French presidential election which included French Politicians Francois Hollande, Nicolas Sarkozy & Marine Le Pen.

I’ll highlight what this could mean below, after the WikiLeaks information:

WIKILEAKS – All major French political parties were targeted for infiltration by the CIA’s human (“HUMINT”) and electronic (“SIGINT”) spies in the seven months leading up to France’s 2012 presidential election. The revelations are contained within three CIA tasking orders published today by WikiLeaks as context for its forth coming CIA Vault 7 series.
Named specifically as targets are the French Socialist Party (PS), the National Front (FN) and Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) together with current President Francois Hollande, then President Nicolas Sarkozy, current round one presidential front runner Marine Le Pen, and former presidential candidates Martine Aubry and Dominique Strauss-Khan. Another Campaign Promise Fulfilled – People’s President Trump signs a resolution of disapproval bill today eliminating one of President Obama’s last minute regulations intended to cripple the coal industry.
Prior to signing the repeal, President Trump held a brief presser with legislators and some very happy coal miners.  WATCH:

The bill, called a resolution of disapproval, was passed by the Senate and House using special powers under the Congressional Review Act to reverse regulations imposed by a President during the lame duck session.

Earlier today President Trump met with congressional members to discuss ongoing legislation and the current state of DC politics.
Unlike prior administrations who promised ‘transparency’ yet never delivered, President Trump invites the media to the introduction session of the meeting in order to provide the electorate with an understanding of the inner working of the DC process.
In a more informal approach, it is quite a remarkable change to witness and exemplifies President Trump’s commitment as The Peoples’ President.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday called tax code revisions a critical way to boost the nation’s economy as he kicked off a White House meeting with chief executive officers of Target Corp (TGT.N), Best Buy Co Inc (BBY.N) and six other major retailers.

The retailers spoke with Trump about an overhaul of the corporate tax law and infrastructure improvements. While companies like Best Buy and Target support changes to the tax code, they urged Trump to oppose a proposal for a new border tax on imported goods.

The ridiculous scope of the undermining anti-Trump media narrative is growing exponentially more stupid as the content of their “stories” never match the alarmist headlines they are attempting.
The latest example from Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal is so over-the-top ridiculous, even the Office of the Director of National Intelligence rebuked it publicly.
The Wall Street Journal leads with a headline: “Spies Keep Intelligence From Donald Trump on Leak Concerns”… (there might be a paywall, so we’ll screen grab the lead)
