A guest on the Michael Dyson show (a director of “Africana studies” at Lehigh University), calls the rioting “understandable” and a “red herring”.
The real issue underpinning the Brown shooting is the failure of the “system” and police officers, specifically….
“They can handle the riot and stop the riot and control the riot,” he said dismissively. “But the real question is can we get our criminal justice system, can we get our police departments, to acknowledge the humanity of black and brown folks?”
He goes on to state the police “abused” their power and “terrorized” the community for “hours”.
Of course, the people in those communities are not responsible for the irresponsible choices they make. Oh noes.
Of course, since this is the end game – handcuffing the responses of any law enforcement officer when dealing with a black suspect – it now makes more sense why Sharpton has taken the lead on this and Crumpster is a player in the background. This is much bigger fish than simply overturning “Stand Your Own”. (Read more...)
NYPD has released security video of a black male in his 20s assaulting a 72-year-old man, who appears to be white, walking down the street in the West Village on Monday afternoon. After the man fell to the ground, police say the suspect ran to the other side of the street to an awaiting black male. Police are now looking for both suspects. (link)
Nothing says social justice like the backdrop of a cloud of teargas against the running silhouette of an impoverished lad clutching a freshly looted flat screen TV.

North Carolina – Outraged viewers reached out to Eyewitness News about a Facebook video they said showed three young people attacking and robbing an ice cream man in Northeast Charlotte.
A girl opens an ice cream cart in the beginning of the video. The ice cream man closes it and soon the girl and other young people begin hitting the man over and over.
“It seems like he’s not trying to fight back initially, like he just wants to be left alone, and that’s the thing — you can’t even be left alone,” said Manuel Fuentes. (more…)
Despite the reality staring her in the face the Mayor of Baltimore, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, refuses to acknowledge the motives and racial connotations behind the continuing Knock Out Assaults taking place in her city. A continuing pattern of racial avoidance:
Baltimore – After two recent “knockout games” left several people in Baltimore injured, the city’s mayor has decided to speak out.
WNEW Annapolis Bureau Chief Karen Adams reports that Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is disgusted by the attacks and says they are not a game.
“They don’t understand the consequences,” Rawlings-Blake said. “If you knock someone out, you could think its a joke and you’ll hurt somebody – that person could die. And then your life is ruined for some stupidity that you and your friends think is fun. It’s just not worth it.”
Rawlings-Blake said Wednesday that adults in the city can help to prevent these crimes by being more involved in the lives of children who may be roaming the streets. (more…)
Like Victim #22, Victim #23 is fortunate enough to have a police department willing to admit this was a pre-planned Knock Out Assault (though they still call it a “game”).

MICHIGAN – Ferndale (WXYZ) – The “knock-out game” has been making headlines across the country. It is a “game” where someone tries to knock out an innocent stranger with one punch.
Now, Ferndale Police are investigating whether that is what lead to an attack on a man walking along Woodward Avenue.
It happened just before midnight on Sunday night as Edward Ewing walked across Wordsworth Street. He had just stopped at White Castle for a bite to eat and was walking home. He saw two men walking toward him.
“Was just going home,” said Ewing. “Next thing I know I am sucker punched.”
The punch knocked Ewing out. He suffered a concussion, broken jaw, chipped teeth, cuts, and bruises. (more…)
2014’s victim #22 has a small consolation – at least the police admit the motive this time…
PENNSYLVANIA – Police are on the hunt for a group of teenagers who allegedly planned a videotaped attack on a homeless man and then posted the recording on Facebook. Pure evil” is how Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood described the beating. “There was absolutely no reason to do it, other than being mean and evil,” he said.
According to Chitwood, surveillance video from a nearby bank shows four teenage boys sitting at the Aronimink Trolley Stop at Burmont Road and Morgan Avenue in Upper Darby back on June 11.
“You can see that they’re planning something in the surveillance video,” Chitwood said. “You see all four of them get up and go through the doorway that leads inside the building where the victim is seated, doing nothing and minding his own business.” (more…)
It’s called “Cracka-Smacks” – A tongue in cheek urban dictionary lexicon combining the euphemism for white, “Cracker”, and the style of attack, “Smacks”. It also catches the lingo of a popular urban cereal, Sugar Smacks.
The difference between “Cracka-Smacking” and the “knock out assaults” is one of intent, not subtlety. In Knock Out Assaults the goal is to punch the victim unconscious, preferably in one shot. In Cracka-Smacks the goal is merely to smack the non-black, or to beat them. Both approaches are used when “Polar Bear Hunting” (ie. patrolling for a white, or at least non-black, victim to attack).
For credibility, humor and enjoyment, the racial attacks are often recorded and up-loaded to social media so the black attacker can share their success with other like-minded cohorts. WATCH THIS VIDEO:
Stunningly, again in this video you see the Ohio media exposing the true nature of the motive. It is a pure RACIAL ATTACK. (more…)
