CNN continues the drumbeat against police in Baltimore Maryland regarding the death of Freddie Gray. Today the Baltimore police chief held a lengthy press conference. The police chief, the mayor and the local community leaders are under exceptional pressure as the professionally aggrieved advance upon Baltimore.

Amid the current climate it was announced today the NAACP, National Action Network (NAN), the New Black Panther Party (NBPP), the Nation of Islam, along with Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Jamal Bryant, Malik Shabazz and Marc Morial, are all converging on Baltimore for a weekend of protests and grievance rallies. There’s really not much to add other than watch the video. Supposedly, according to media reports, there was a set of rules, policies and/or guidelines in place when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State. Those rules were supposedly drafted by the White House and required specific disclosures and compliance requirements.
Today, facing FACTUAL EVIDENCE that those rules were never followed, the White House essentially says “meh, who cares”?

A counter-event being held today at VSU is anticipated to draw 4,000+ patriots in support of the Stars and Stripes. Todays event follows the publicity of a militant black supremacy group who were walking on, and burning, the USA flag for several days on campus last week.

The leader of the student group who was originally protesting, Eric Sheppard Jr., remains wanted by police for violent threats and firearms violations.  Weapons were found in his backpack on the school campus.  Sheppard fled the campus before police could arrest him. It is rumored Eric Sheppard is in hiding amid several organizations sympathetic to his ‘Islamic radicalization’ cause.
The sunlight upon the campus recruitment for Islamic Radicalization has brought an uncomfortable discussion into the backstory surrounding the events. According to local speculation the Nation of Islam and New Black Panther Party sympathizers are assisting Sheppard in avoiding law enforcement.
Had it not been for an Air Force veteran, Michelle Manhart, bringing national attention to the group – the activity taking place on the VSU campus would never have been scrutinized. (more…)

President Obama said today the drone strike that killed one U.S. and one Italian hostage was “a mistake”. No it wasn’t. The drone strike was ordered; the drone strike was purposeful; the drone strike hit the exact intended target; there was nothing remotely a “mistake” about the operation.
Everything this White House does first and foremost passes through the political prism. Everything, every.single.pro-and-con, is weighed against the political cost vs. benefit considerations, period. So too is this story, and the aftermath of this story from January to the public release of the information today.
WASHINGTON DC – President Obama on Thursday acknowledged that the U.S. killed two innocent hostages in counterterrorism operations against al Qaeda.
Obama expressed his “deepest apologies” to the families of the two hostages, one American and one Italian.

“It is a cruel and bitter truth that in the fog of war generally, and our fight against terrorists specifically, mistakes, sometimes deadly mistakes can occur,” Obama said at a press conference at the White House Thursday morning. (read more)

Marco Rubio is the strategic plow for a Jeb Bush GOP primary win.  The Decepticon machine in general, and Tom Donohue specifically, is using the EXACT SAME strategy successfully used in Virginia against Ken Cuccinelli to give the VA Governor’s race to Democrats. 
In Kentucky it was used to push McConnell back into office.  In Mississippi it was used to push Thad Cochran back into office (despite his dementia).   In 2015/16 primary it is being used to push Jeb Bush to victory in the GOP primary.  Alas, just like 2012 through 2014, few can see it and even fewer accept it.

The hawkish casino magnate, notable establishmentarian, and prolific GOP donor Sheldon Adelson is reportedly beginning to turn a favorable eye toward Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL). According to Politico, Adelson sees Rubio as “the future of the Republican Party.”

Trey Gowdy, Chairman of The House Select Committee on Benghazi, has requested former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appear before the panel next month.
In a letter to Clinton attorney David Kendall (below) Gowdy asks that Hillary testify before the committee “the week of May 18” to discuss email issues; and again before June 18 to talk about the deadly Benghazi attack (9/11/2012)

It will be tough, because your names have been tucked into the Rolodexes of those Clinton flacks for decades. You’re part of their social circle, where Bill is still a charming presence. Clinton operatives, and family members, have slipped smoothly into top media jobs. Clinton is the only serious candidate for 2016 from your beloved Democrat Party; every time mainstream-media editorial boards start thinking Clinton’s baggage is too heavy for them to carry, they look at the rest of the Democrat bench, swallow hard, and pick those bags right back up. A review of a Russian bid to control U.S. Uranium mine interests exposes millions of undisclosed donations to the Clinton Family Foundation which occur during critical timeframes requiring coincidental approval by Secretary Clinton.
New York Times […] Beyond mines in Kazakhstan that are among the most lucrative in the world, the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.
