Dave Hunt represented Clackamas County in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2003 through 2013. Hunt was the former Democratic Leader, Majority Leader, and Speaker of the House for the State of Oregon. As a legislator, Hunt the sponsor of a bill criminalizing sex trafficking in 2007. Hunt is currently a lobbyist working to influence the very chamber he left.
However, even more ironic in 2011, Dave Hunt use his position to support and vote for HB 2714. That bill created the crime of commercial sexual solicitation, the exact crime police used to charge Hunt when he was arrested and cited.
OREGON – Former Oregon House Speaker and current Clackamas Community College board member Dave Hunt was cited by Portland police in an undercover sex traffic sting operation in April. Contacted by the Portland Tribune on Monday, May 3, Hunt said, “I don’t think I should talk about that.”
Hunt’s attorney, Micheal De Munis, said, “Mr. Hunt denies the allegations, but respects the criminal justice process and will refrain from saying more until he has his opportunity in court.”
Clackamas Community College said Hunt was taking a leave from the board.
As a legislator, Hunt was one of numerous sponsors of a bill criminalizing sex trafficking in 2007. In 2011, he also voted for HB 2714, that bill created the crime of commercial sexual solicitation, the crime for which he was arrested and cited.
Many people have come to the realization the best line of defense against an out of control and corrupt federal government is to drop back to the state and local level, harden the local politics to push-back against federal intervention, and demand local and state officials fight against the dangerous leftist agenda.
Governors like Ron DeSantis in Florida are leading the way with proactive state legislation and direct confrontation against the collectivist leftist effort. The state confrontation includes state laws against efforts by federal intrusion (COVID mandates, passports, etc) and simultaneously creating state laws that will allow Big Tech (censorship) and the multinational corporations (discrimination) to be sued in state court. Additionally, following the Tea Party organized model, local pragmatic patriots are also doing their part.
The latest story of effective organization at the local level comes from a group of families in a mid-sized town of Southlake, Texas; a town northwest of Dallas with a population of 31,000. The school board was about to initiate the indoctrination program of Critical Race Theory (CRT) in the region. The parents said “no more” leftist bullshit, organized an effective political action committee pooled their financial resources, selected candidates and launched a full-frontal assault in the next local election.
The results were stunningly successful as the pragmatic patriots crushed the leftist effort with a turnout three times greater than the previous election, and an overwhelming seventy percent level of voting support for their candidates. As soon as government started controlling the behavior of people under the justification of COVID fear, there was a natural conclusion evident to the issues. The lady holding up the sign has it exactly correct. All of the approaches demanded by leftist governmental action framed ‘non-compliance’ with the dictates as the individual being “selfish.”
The leftist pattern of framing your demand for individual freedom and liberty as selfish, has permeated throughout the COVID narrative. The vaccination demand now carries the exact same compliance narrative as the leftists blend vaccinations with the term “herd immunity.”
The current media talking points say that if you don’t take the non-FDA approved test vaccine, you are selfishly blocking a national effort to attain this “herd immunity.”
The argument is actually quite silly. If your vaccine protects you from COVID; and if the vaccine actually does do what the government and media tell you it does; then why would you be worried about someone else’s vaccine status? If the vaccine works, presumably you are protected; my not being vaccinated does not increase your risk or pose a threat.

♦(2) Judge Boasberg hires former DOJ National Security Head Mary McCord as an Amicus Curiae for the court. McCord is a known corrupt actor within the DOJ with political motives and intentions. The federal reserve has announced they will support the economic agenda of the Biden administration by allowing rapid inflation. The FED is trying to provide cover for JoeBama’s economic plan. The era when the FED could impact inflation is long past. However, the Joe Biden policy impact will be clear, immediate and concise. The U.S. middle-class and blue-collar worker are about to be crushed under rising prices for consumable products.
Increases in inflation hit the working class (Main St) much harder than the investment class (Wall St) and financial elites. Factually the multinationals benefit from U.S. inflation as it puts pressure on domestic companies to ship their manufacturing overseas. Wall Street likes that. This dynamic has been an issue not-discussed by the financial media for decades. First, the Reuters article (when you see “commodity prices” think about the term “consumables”):

No crowds ever attended his rallies. There was no crowd at his installation. There are no views for his on-line speeches. The audience for his regular speeches are non-existent. Far fewer viewers at home. An empty chamber for his speech (COVID), and yet we are to believe he received 81 million votes.
After the Democrat Secretary of State failed to get the Arizona State Attorney General to initiate an investigation of the audit; and after a Democrat state judge rejected the Democrat effort for a temporary restraining order; and after all other efforts have failed…. now we see three outside left-wing election groups (claiming bipartisanship yet led by lawyers from NYU) asking the DOJ to intervene in the Maricopa County, Arizona, ballot audit.
The audit started on April 23. A judge on April 28 rejected the attempt by Democrats to halt the process.
The Brennan Center, Protect Democracy and The Leadership Conference have signed a letter to the civil rights division of the DOJ asking them to get involved.
The arguments within the letter [pdf here] are identical to the arguments made previously by other Lawfare groups, including Perkins Coie, to a state judge. The state judge rejected the arguments because there was no evidence submitted to the court to back them up.
Obviously there is a great amount of fear amid the network of Lawfare and leftist activists about this ongoing ballot audit. The letter only highlights the worry they carry that Arizona’s election fraud might be demonstrably proven the the wider U.S. electorate.
