(Via NRO)   Republicans like Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush, Grover Norquist, et al. who insist that the House GOP pass Chuck Schumer’s amnesty bill are saying that Obama can be trusted to enforce whatever new immigration laws we come up with.

As if there weren’t already abundant evidence of the absurdity of such trust, a Buzzfeed story adds to the pile.

The story is about disagreement between Schumer and the White House over plans to water down enforcement even more. The less-sophisticated among the anti-borders Left are demanding that the ongoing review of deportation policy, designed to make it more “humane,” result in dramatic new curbs on the removal of illegal aliens or, even better, de facto amnesty for all illegals along the lines of Obama’s illegal DREAM Act–style DACA amnesty. Previously the Metro Police said they were going to open investigations into the militia members who rallied to aid Cliven Bundy.    Now, it appears the FBI is opening an investigation to identify the same….  

Consider it the “No Cry” list !   A list of patriots who refused to back down.

NEVADA – Clark County sheriff’s officials say they’ve been interviewed by the FBI as part of an investigation into armed supporters of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy.

Assistant Sheriff Joe Lombardo told KLAS-TV that federal agents have opened an investigation into the conduct of supporters of Bundy who reportedly pointed guns at officers during a standoff at his ranch April 12. (more…)

Many observers speculated at the time the FEDS could not allow the appearance of the Militia to be the public impression of their decision not to follow through with the Bundy Roundup in Nevada.     

Several issues were concerning.    1.) The “Oath Keepers” within the police department were openly exposed as frauds, and to-a-man willing to go along with the federal agents.  2.) The appearance of the armed Militia groups instantly became a risk to the power of the armed federal agencies and “for hire” contractors who are used to unlimited hostile action against citizens without consequence.

Now This…. [Assistant Sheriff Joe] […]   Lombardo confirms that Metro developed a lot of intelligence about militia members who were present. Those who aimed their guns at officers will be dealt with.

“Yes, there will be consequences, definitely. That is unacceptable behavior. If we let it go, it will continue into the future,” Lombardo said.

Law enforcement sources told us that federal officials are preparing to move against Cliven Bundy, but they might wait months until things die down before making their move.

Metro Police could take separate action in response to the provocations they experienced in Bunkerville and may be working to identify particular suspects.  (full article)

The media would like to sell the narrative about the Bunkerville community being angry at Clive Bundy or the militia, or the events, or ___fill-in-blank___ .  Unfortunately for the propagandists the reality is fundamentally opposite..

And I’d like to point out something I’ve yet to see anyone write about.   When the crisis around the Bundy Ranch events reached their apex, the Oathkeepers ran away.   It was the militia groups who stood their ground. 

NEVADA – An emotional crowd gathered for a town hall meeting on Thursday evening in Bunkerville.

Residents and council members praised militia members gathered there in support of embattled rancher Cliven Bundy, but had nothing but vitriol for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie and the local and national media.

“The day the militia [came] was the day I felt safe again in Nevada,” one meeting attendee said. (more…)

(Via Real Clear Politics) Last month, as the Senate was busy negotiating the final details of its Ukraine aid package, Majority Leader Harry Reid became temporarily distracted with a campaign finance issue. Since winning re-election in 2010, Reid’s campaign had purchased gifts for supporters and donors from vendors like Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, Nordstrom, and the Senate gift shop, among others. But one round of spending was directed to a less recognizable firm: Ryan Elisabeth, a jewelry line.
In 2012 and 2013, the campaign spent $31,267 purchasing gifts from the company, which is owned by Reid’s granddaughter, Ryan Elisabeth Reid. All told, she took in nearly seven times more cash than all vendors of donor gifts combined during that period of time.
Veteran Nevada political journalist Jon Ralston first reported the news after receiving a tip about the expenditures. (Ryan Elisabeth’s last name did not appear on the FEC reports, and the senator’s office initially failed to confirm her identity.) While Sen. Reid does not appear to have broken the law, he understood that the purchases created a perception of favoritism. Lamenting the unwanted attention heaped on his granddaughter, he decided after the news broke that “it would be best to pay for her work out of my own pocket.” (more…)

When the supporters of the Bundy family stood in the road they demanded to know what federal agents were doing with a convoy of dump trucks and back hoes.  In response the supporters  were thrown to the ground, tazed and met with attack dogs and automatic weapons.   BLM goons pointed machine guns and sniper rifles at supporters to keep them away.   Why were the questions about the equipment so troubling to answer:

The case of the Kansas City Shooter provides an excellent example of Political Correctness running amuck.
The ideological left proclaim the religious/political ideology of Mohammed Whitaker is unknown because his birth name was Pedro Whitaker, and he is Hispanic.   They proclaim the fact he changed his name to Mohammed is not evidence of his conversion to Islam.

The fact that Pedro changes his name to Mohammed after some self-discovery event in his life is apparently something we are supposed to look upon with caution.   And we must absolutely not infer the fact he shot people in cars around Kansas City over the course of several weeks to label him as a danger.
But immediately Harry Reid knew some other guy, Clive Bundy, a rancher, was a “domestic terrorist”.

…. he’s kicking the hornets nest on purpose.

Harry Reid did more than double down today, he went “all in” with his attacks against the Bundy family and anyone who would support them.    Reid now claims the Bundy family, and all those who support them, in addition to being “domestic terrorists”, “don’t pay their taxes”:

Harry REID: Bundy doesn’t believe that the American government is valid, he believes that the United States is a foreign government.

He doesn’t pay his taxes. He doesn’t follow the law. He doesn’t pay his fees.

And if anyone thinks by any figment of their imagination what happened up there last week was just people rallying to somebody that was oppressed — 600 people came in, armed. They had practiced, they had maneuvered, they knew what they were doing. They set up snipers in strategic locations with sniper rifles. They had assault weapons. They had automatic weapons. And they boasted about the fact that they put women in children — in fact one retired sheriff from Arizona boasted that he put women and children so that they would get hit first. (more…)

NEVADA – U.S. Sen. Harry Reid on Thursday called supporters of Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy “domestic terrorists” because they defended him against a Bureau of Land Management cattle roundup with guns and put their children in harm’s way.

“They’re nothing more than domestic terrorists,” Reid said during an appearance at a Las Vegas Review-Journal “Hashtags & Headlines” event at the Paris. “I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism.”
The BLM shut down its weeklong roundup of Bundy’s cattle Saturday after an armed confrontation with militia members who had traveled to Southern Nevada.
