Deep Thoughts From The Shallows Part II – West Coast Version

For the latest example in total and complete reality disconnect we travel back to the Left Coast courtesy of Bill Maher and Socialist Bernie Sanders.
Painful though it may be to watch – it’s worthwhile as an exercise in sharpening the saw:

Ferguson Decision – The High Probability Decision Zone Starts Today…

With the election in the rear view the probability calendar for the Saint Louis Grand Jury decision is now at the apex and will remain there for the next two weekends.

saint louis flag burning 3
saint louis flag burning 2The Grand Jury decision is anticipated either this weekend or next, with the highest probability being this weekend preceding Veterans Day Tuesday November 11th.   For those unfamiliar with the pre-planning here’s what to expect and what to look for?
First, it’s important to remember the broad stroke strategy was roughly planned out in August with the details filling in along the way.  You really didn’t think that civil war CMH award yesterday was just some random calendar pick did you?
Most of the references you’ll see in the media will mention the Department of Justice or DOJ, however it’s also important to draw a distinction between the DOJ and the actual agency being discussed, the “Community Relations Service”, or CRS, which is within the DOJ. (more…)

DOJ Training Ferguson Police Force To Ignore Their Instincts – Training Sessions Emphasize Political Correctness While On Safari..

A critical element in training the “Safari Park Rules” is teaching the game wardens how to avoid their instincts when around predators.

ferguson angerFERGUSON • The Department of Justice announced Thursday that it is hosting a training session through Friday about fair and impartial policing for commanders of local departments, including Ferguson’s.
The effort is part of the Justice Department’s Collaborative Reform Initiative within the St. Louis County police that started after Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson shot Michael Brown in August.
President Barack Obama then asked Attorney General Eric Holder to send the agency’s Community Oriented Policing Services director, Ron Davis, to work with police officials in Ferguson.
The two-day training includes command-level law enforcement leadership from St. Louis County, St. Louis, the Missouri Highway Patrol and Ferguson police, as well as local community members. (more…)

"Stop the Violence" activists beat a colleague until he's unconscious

Two “Stop the Violence” organizers allegedly beat one of their colleagues so severely that he vomited blood and was left unconscious in critical condition.
Nikole Ardeno and Emanuel Velez, both 30, accused their former roommate of stealing their property, and allegedly punched and kicked him in the street until he had seizures. Arrested moments later, Ardeno was still wearing the same “Stop the Violence” T-shirt she had on the night before when she coordinated a march protesting two recent shootings, Washington Police Chief Chris Luppino said.

Another front line medical worker in Ebola Zone dies

FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE—A doctor in Sierra Leone has died of Ebola — the fifth local doctor in the West African nation to die of the disease, authorities said Monday.

The death of Dr. Godfrey George, medical superintendent of Kambia Government Hospital in northern Sierra Leone, was a blow to efforts to keep desperately needed health-care workers safe in a country ravaged by the deadly virus.
sierra-leone-ebolaSierra Leone’s health-care system was already fragile before the Ebola epidemic because of past conflict and a lack of resources. The country had two doctors for every 100,000 people in 2010, compared to about 240 doctors for the same number of people in the United States, according to the World Health Organization.

Another suspected (non-insured) Ebola patient is receiving expensive, time consuming medical attention after landing at Newark International Airport on Friday, clearing US Border and Customs Inspection and taking a long bus ride from New Jersey to a relative’s home in North Carolina before spiking a fever and contacting the CDC which triggered the hospital admission:

The erosion of state’s rights, and the triumph of optics over common sense continues:

Socialist EU Sends Britain $2 Billion Bill So They Can Share The Economic Wealth…

Essentially the EU is charging Britain for having an economy that has outperformed other EU members over the last 20 years.   Pushing the socialistic equality in outcomes principle…  Opposition leader Nigel Farage (UKIP) was just given a golden arrow in his quiver to advance his goal of exiting the EU construct.

David-Cameron-001The Telegraph – David Cameron is fighting to stop Britain being forced to pay an extra £1.7 billion to the European Union due to the success of the British economy.

The Prime Minister was ambushed with a demand from the European Commission for the extra cash because Britain’s economy has performed better than other economies in Europe since 1995.
The bill is due on December 1 and Mr Cameron is particularly enraged because Brussels accountants are also preparing to give France back £790 million as its economy performed less well than Britain’s.

Top Of The List To Replace Eric Holder Is Left-Wing Radical Tom Perez – A Governmental Racist and Liberal Of The Highest Magnitude…

Inside the beltway conversation has all but announced the nomination of current labor secretary Tom Perez to replace Eric Holder. If you were inclined to think of Eric Holder as an activist Attorney General, you can multiply that by infinite magnitudes with Tom Perez. We have researched him for several years as his job before Labor Secretary was the head of the CRS.

Tom perez and Eric Holder
However there are two serious issues which could disqualify Perez from contention to the job, IF they are reviewed by the Senate.
The first was his attachment to an illegal quid-pro-quo scheme.
Back in 2013 a St. Paul, Minnesota community activist, Frederick Newell, appeared before a senate committee to expose (discuss) a $200 million whistleblower lawsuit that Tom Perez, the head of the Department of Justice’s civil rights enforcement, allegedly dismissed as part of a quid pro quo deal with the city of St. Paul.
The city withdrew a petition that was headed to the Supreme Court in a case that would have easily overturned the concept of disparate impact, a racial discrimination doctrine that Perez supports.
The concept of disparate impact is the lynch pin to the entire construct of the DOJ’s approaches toward activist engineering and policy – a supreme court ruling against the application of disparate impact would have destroyed years of social engineering work done by the DOJ.
In exchange for St. Paul dropping the Supreme Court case, the DOJ dropped their support for a whistleblower lawsuit against the city citing the lawsuit having no merit. (more…)
