Another Corrupt Democrat Governor Resigns – Oregon Governor Kitzhaber Announces His Resignation…

Last October, the Willamette Weekly newspaper published an exposé showing how the governor’s fiancé, Cynthia Hayes, was taking money as a private consultant to environment groups and then pushing their policies in her public role as “First Lady” of the state. Most infamously, she ordered state employees to follow a policy she was being paid $25,000 by an advocacy group to promote. Apparently, some of the money also wasn’t reported on tax returns. (link)

oregon govOREGON – Long-time Democratic Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber on Friday announced his resignation amid allegations his fiancee used her relationship with him to enrich herself.
In a lengthy statement released Friday, Kitzhaber said he broke no laws and said his resignation would be effective on Wednesday.  “Nonetheless, I understand that I have become a liability to the very institutions and policies to which I have dedicated my career and, indeed, my entire adult life,” he said.
The decision capped a wild week in which Kitzhaber seemed poised to step down, then changed his mind, but ultimately bowed to calls from legislative leaders that he quit the state’s top job. (more…)

Report: DOJ Will Not File Any Civil Rights Charges Against Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson…

This was a no-brainer for anyone who followed the case. As early as August 18th, just a week after the Mike Brown shooting (pictured below), both Attorney General Eric Holder and President Obama knew there was no foundation for any charges against officer Wilson. They allowed the fiasco to continue for election benefits.
WASHINGTON — The Justice Department is taking the final steps toward closing the politically charged investigation into the shooting death of an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Mo., and clearing the white police officer involved of civil rights charges.

Federal prosecutors have begun work on a legal memo recommending no civil rights charges against the officer, Darren Wilson, law enforcement officials said.
That would close the case in the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown. An investigation by the F.B.I., which is complete, found no evidence to support the charges against the officer, the officials said. (read more)

"Legislative Proposals"? – Perhaps A Different Take On The State of The Union….

I’ve spent some time going back through the post election -yet pre-holiday- white house briefings, and comparing them to recent pre-SOU leaks.
What strikes me as odd is how people are discussing the Obama “Legislative Proposals“, ie. “free college” and “tax the rich”, as if he actually means it. I’m sure people reading this understand that: ♦ the legislative branch passes laws; ♦ the executive branch enforces laws; and ♦ the judicial branch interprets laws.
Obama jobs speechSo why is so much attention being paid to President Obama’s “legislative proposals”?
Why doesn’t everyone in congress just ignore him. Elections have consequences, he lost.
Let President Obama banter on listening to his own voice at yet another grand State of The Union speech, filled with so much rhetoric and nonsense, that no-one can ever remember from year to year. And then ignore it. I certainly hope the “GOP response” which customarily follows the SOU doesn’t give the “legislative proposals” any mention, because there is simply no need to.
Republicans control the House and the Senate chambers with majorities in both legislative houses – they don’t need to engage in a futile discussion about legislation they will never bring forward, so why talk about it. (more…)

Profound Irony – Pennsylvania Grand Jury Recommends Criminal Charges Against Democrat State Attorney General…

The story initially began back in March of 2014 when several black Philadelphia politicians were caught in a corruption probe and sting operation. At the time the newly elected Democrat PA Attorney General stepped in and pressured the Philadelphia prosecutor to drop charges; the reasoning was incredulous.
Kathleen Kane
The corruption investigation itself was called racist because only the black politicians accepted the bribes. All politicians were offered bribes, but only the black politicians took the bribes – ergo the new State AG, Kathleen Kane, said the STING was racist. The local Philadelphia media reported on the story, which essentially shamed the Philly DA into filing charges. Last month two of the lawmakers were charged – the Philly lawmakers admitted their guilt.
However, the story gets even more bizarre. The State AG was busted leaking information from the secret Grand Jury in Philadelphia who originally proposed charges against the corrupt Philly politicians. Kathleen Kane was said to have given information about the Grand Jury investigation to The Philadelphia Daily News. This turned investigative attention toward the State Attorney General, Kathleen Kane, who, if proven, would have just committed a very serious crime – for nothing more than political motive. (more…)

Boehner's Revenge – Congressional Reps Who Did Not Support His Lordship Are Removed From Legislative Committee Assignments…

No doubt all of this directed by CoC President Tom Donohue. The Republican representatives who did not support Boehner’s anointment to “Speaker” will now be cast to the capitol dungeon, where they will silently sit out the rest of their term.
Boehner and Mitch McConnell can now ¹defend ObamaCare, and ²develop Comprehensive Immigration Reform (amnesty), and ³continue with Common Core.

John Boehner is getting revenge – After he secured his third term as speaker Tuesday afternoon, losing 25 votes on the House floor to some relative-unknown members of the Republican Conference, Boehner moved swiftly to boot two of the insurgents from the influential Rules Committee. That could be just the start of payback for the speaker’s betrayers, who might see subcommittee chairmanships and other perks fall away in the coming months.
Boehner’s allies have thirsted for this kind of action from the speaker, who say he’s let people walk all over him for too long and is too nice to people who are eager to stab him in the back. The removal of Florida Reps. Daniel Webster and Rich Nugent from Rules was meant as a clear demonstration that what Boehner and other party leaders accepted during the last Congress is no longer acceptable, not with the House’s biggest GOP majority in decades. Mitch McConnell – "Eager" To Work With President To Deliver ObamaCare, Common Core, and Comprehensive Immigration Reform, ie. Amnesty…

The Republican leadership of the U.S. government is acting French
WASHINGTON DC – Incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is “not opposed” to negotiating with President Obama, he said in an interview with CNN that aired Sunday, and expressed eagerness to work with the president to find a middle ground in the coming year.
McConnell and Boehner
“Now he needs to talk to us,” McConnell said. “And that’s good, because when the American people elect a divided government, they’re not saying they don’t want anything done. What they are saying is, they want things done in the political center, things that both sides can agree on. We talk about the things where there may be some agreement.”

ObamaCare The Next Shoe To Drop – 2014 Tax Filings

This next step continues the previously outlined Nine Stages Of Outrage – Obamacare

Doctor Obama(Via CNN )The next Obamacare controversy is right around the corner.
Obamacare enrollees who received subsidies to help pay for coverage will soon have to reconcile how much they actually earned in 2014 with how much they estimated when they applied many, many months ago.
This will likely lead to some very unhappy Americans. Those who underestimated their income either will receive smaller tax refunds or will owe the IRS money.
That’s because subsidies are actually tax credits and are based on annual income, but folks got their 2014 subsidy before knowing exactly what they’d make in 2014. So you’ll have to reconcile the two with the IRS during the upcoming tax filing season.
It won’t be surprising if many enrollees guessed wrong. The sign up period began in October 2013 and many people did not know what they’d earn in 2014. Some went off what they earned in 2012.  (read more)

President Obama's NPR Interview Shows Massive Amount of Cognitive Dissonance…

• Race relations are better, • a U.S. embassy is possible in the “country of Tehran” (LOL – smartest president ever), • the mid-terms were poor because the Democrats failed to highlight the magnanimous magnificence of Obama’s administration, • Latinos hate republicans, and • white people refuse to see how much better off they are.

These are a few of the highlights from President Obama’s interview with NPR that took place 11 days ago and was held for some, well, unknown reason.

Below is a full link to President Obama’s full (according to them) NPR interview:

Here It Comes – Mitch McConnell Says More Important to Say "Yes" To Big Government, Than Attempt Defunding ObamaCare….

For a full year and a half we have been saying that THREE specific actions would happen as a result of Mitch McConnell winning his re-election bid. They are:

* Full implementation of ObamaCare without change or removal
* Full comprehensive immigration reform to include amnesty.
* Full support for Common-Core federal education standards

These three elements are the central tenet of Tom Donohue and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Donohue and the CoC command the constructs of Mitch McConnell. There is NOTHING you can do now to stop it. The only chance was lost on May 11th during the Kentucky primary.
You can gnash your teeth, jump up and down, refuse to vote, call, write and email congress.  It just doesn’t matter – you are spitting into a hurricane.  That part of the battle was lost in May 2014. Quit thinking about it, it’s behind us now.
However, I would suggest to stop supporting any affiliate of Ann Coulter, Tucker Carlson, and any associate of like-minded alignment.  Do the same with blogs and websites who support that perspective.  Make that a New Years Resolution.

WASHINGTON DC – To incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), it is more important for Republicans to be the party of yes than go all-out to defund President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty. (more…)
