Raw Footage – A Builder President Visits Boeing Builders…

This is so cool.  In the raw footage feeds of President Trump touring the Boeing manufacturing plant the president is actually engaged in discussion of the structural component of the aircraft itself.
Usually these are photo-ops and tours of optical value for politicians; where you see the corporate face (CEO) walking around discussing the constructs at a high level, blah, blah, blah.  However, with the first ever business person elected to the office of The President, President Trump is actually engaged in peer-to-peer, CEO to CEO, conversations discussing the building dynamics of the newest Boeing aircraft and getting into the details of the build.

You can hear President Trump discuss the composition of the new framing material as an aspect to the size of the larger windows now possible in the aircraft design.  It’s a peek into the stunning shift of interaction between businesses executives, industrial giants and the Presidency of the United States.   Trump asking question after question about the build itself; every aspect from material to sourcing, supply chain, linear costs etc. [No wonder he can negotiate lower costs on contracts.]

Brilliant – Today Illegal Aliens Voluntarily Self-Identify Throughout America – #DayWithoutImmigrants

Some people say the liberal mind is predisposed toward stupidity, or at least stupid behavior.  Perhaps that’s a little too harsh; however, the plan for today is definitely an example of not quite thinking things through to – ‘the unintended consequences‘.
There is a social justice action taking place today, Thursday February 16th, and being widely promoted.  –Media Report Here
Essentially the objective is for all illegal aliens not to go to their jobs; it’s called “A Day Without Immigrants” and it has its very own hashtag – SEE HERE -.
Here’s some promotional material, flyers being distributed, to explain the gist of the plan:

So the approach is to call out sick (or something) from work, and just don’t show up.
However, has anyone stopped to think that by participating in this program they are just outing themselves as illegal aliens, which means illegal employees to their employers?

You Think DC Is Fighting Back Now? Just Wait Until President Trump Submits His Budget….

If you think the UniParty attacks upon President Trump are vitriolic now, just wait until President Trump presents his budget proposal to congress; that’s when the UniParty is really going to go bananas, and every crony-conservative pundit and radio talker will simultaneously demand Trump immediately spend more money.

budget-battle-1These politicians will demand more spending.  Notice anything familiar about them?

The federal fiscal year runs from October 1st to September 3oth annually. The Budget and Accounting Act of 1921 requires the President to submit his budget request for the upcoming fiscal year no later than the first Monday of February.
However, in the first year of the first term of each administration – congress waives the statutory deadline because so much of the election and campaign is structured around fiscal budget and tax policy.  The waiver gives the incoming administration time to construct their budget after the inauguration.  Historic reference:

President Trump Signs Resolution Eliminating SEC Disclosure Rule For U.S. Energy Development…

H.J. Resolution 41, “disapproving the Securities and Exchange Commission’s rule on disclosure of payments by “resource extraction issuers”, ie. energy companies.

Foreign energy companies, developers and extractors do not have to publicly show their financial transactions with foreign governments.  An existing U.S. SEC rule designed to provide disclosure on corporate ‘donations’ to foreign governments put our energy corporations at a disadvantage.
The existing rule meant that U.S. corporations were revealing where and when they were planning to invest in energy development.  Competing nations energy companies were using that public disclosure information to out maneuver the U.S. on contracts.

Steve Mnuchin Confirmed as U.S. Treasury Secretary…

WASHINGTON – The Senate voted Monday evening to confirm Steven Mnuchin, a former investor, banker and Trump campaign official, to be the 77th secretary of the treasury. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., was the only Democrat to vote with Republicans, and the nominee was confirmed 53-47.

Confirmation means that Mnuchin will be in a position to help carry out Trump’s ambitious agenda for cutting tax rates, lessening financial regulation and revamping trade agreements.
The treasury secretary is the top economic post in an administration, and Mnuchin’s swearing-in will go a long way toward filling out Trump’s understaffed Cabinet and, potentially, facilitating the president’s legislative agenda.  (read more)

One of the larger hurdles President Trump faces is a need to re-educate an entire generation on a fundamentally new vision of the U.S. economy.  A return to a Pro-Main Street, goods-based, manufacturing, technology, innovation and industry driven economic model. (more…)

Professor Mark Blyth – Political Economist…

As many of you know we spend a great deal of time researching various aspects of modern economics. There are very few people who have a firm grasp on the new economy, and even fewer still who can translate the recent economic structure into current economic predictions.
Professor Mark Blyth is one of the very select few people who grasp the full concept of two economies, Wall Street (fiscal economy) and Main Street (working class, traditional). A few weeks ago Blyth appeared on Tucker Carlson to discuss his thoughts.
Professor Blyth is well worth listening to because while he uses different terminology, he is essentially describing the exact conditions we have been discussing here for the last several years. He gets it, and we believe he’s correct.

Blyth describes political economics as an outcome of a decades shift from valuing wages (traditional main street production value) to valuing/emphasizing pricing (Wall street) etc.  What he outlines is exactly what we have described in the New Economic Dimension.
