In an effort to diffuse the growing controversy, and trying to split the baby, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz has just resigned her position as head of the DNC effective AFTER the Philadelphia convention…..  NOT GOOD ENOUGH says the majority of convention attendees so… stay tuned!    UPDATE:  Donna Brazille to fill in?

WikiLeaks revealed clear evidence the Democrat National Committee was working earnestly to undermine Bernie Sanders and colluding with like-minded main stream media entities to eliminate the Sanders campaign.

The email leaks clearly show the DNC was working to support Hillary Clinton, and position Hillary Clinton favorably during the primary election.  Bernie Sanders supporters had been making this argument for months and being called conspiracy theorists by the media; the email release proves the supporters were right.

The professional party apparatus, ie. Team Clinton, just gave the Bernie supporters the biggest F.U. so far in Philadelphia.

After the DNC locked the doors so hundreds of Team Bernie supporters could not get in to attend the rules meeting, and after locking out media during the discussion, an effort to fully eliminate superdelegates in future elections failed.

A delegate for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders offered an amendment to get rid of superdelegates (party insiders who can vote for the candidate of their choice at the convention).

Sanders supporters accurately identified it was superdelegates who gave Hillary Clinton too much of an advantage in their battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.

However, the party power structure will not allow such efforts.  The amendment was defeated by a rules committee vote of 108-58.  Although it earned enough support to force a floor vote at the convention should Team Bernie do so.

Following the vote, the media was allowed back in to witness, the Rules Committee subsequently voted down several other compromise amendments; including measures: to give superdelegates one-tenth of a vote each, ban lobbyists from being superdelegates, and bar superdelegates from voting on the convention’s first ballot.  They all failed. As a Clinton rally begins in Florida today, we must accept there are many CTH readers who may not be comprehensively familiar with the scope of corruption within the Clinton Machine.  Everything within the life story of Bill and Hillary is based on a principle of self serving: greed, influence, power, lust and political control.

Senator Tim Kaine was chosen because the machine operators feel he will keep the Clinton secrets.  Nothing more.  Hillary’s #1 litmus test was not looking for an enhancement to the ticket, she was looking for someone “safe”, someone who would find out where the political bodies are buried and yet keep their mouth shut.

Another rather Jaw-Dropping release within the latest WikiLeaks document dump of DNC emails outlines the planning for a joint fundraiser in September 2015.

Apparently, The Washington Post was hosting a party.  The DNC saw the opportunity to make a fundraiser out of it and sell tickets to the party to donors.   However, the email chain shows the lawyers for the DNC said they can’t publish the price for the tickets because the joint event would be illegal.

The Washington Post and DNC still held the joint event, they just never left a traceable paper trail (to outsiders) showing their combined efforts:

Earlier today WikiLeaks released more documents showing how the Democrat National Committee (DNC) specifically worked to destroy the candidacy of Bernie Sanders in a united effort with the media to support Hillary Clinton.

The revelations within the release are quite astounding, and unfortunately confirm all the prior suspicions of the Bernie Sanders supporters about the democrat party apparatus working with the Clinton campaign to eliminate the threat posed by Senator Sanders.

There are multiple examples of specific activity where the DNC is colluding with the media to undermine Sanders.  A few examples are below, and we’ll dig in to some of those stories later.  However, within one part of the email release there’s another angle confirming something we have covered here exhaustively. When Donald Trump proposed a simple border wall and tighter immigration enforcement, a gobsmacked “conservative” electorate were stunned to see the entire political universe of people, who most thought would align with such basic tenets, flip 180° and begin stating: “walls don’t work”, “we need open borders”, and “deportations are unfair”….

In July 2015 it was weird to see the “conservative” pundits and professional class expose their true intents so quickly.

Many couldn’t fathom what they were witnessing.  We called this the “Trump Effect”.

In essence Trump exposes the hypocritical nature of the deceivers simply by affirming an intent to give them what they’ve advocated for.  In doing so Trump puts sunlight on their hidden ideology, and forces them out of the shadows.

Remarkably, Trump is doing it again with comments about NATO, Turkey, the EU and a reconsideration of the U.S. role in Europe.

It’s simply an incredible thing to witness.

If we follow the current Democrat arguments to their logical conclusion, we now see liberals shifted to demanding a war against Russia, because Turkey via Erdogan has gone full Islamist and is also a NATO “ally”.

The same legacy media pundits/critics who decried the candidacy of Donald Trump are fraught with pearl-clutching criticism because the structure of convention day #2 prime-time speeches are not following their customary political norms.

Oh dear, oh my…. oh noes... the vulgarians are daring to put on their own show.  Those unwashed non-cosmopolitan’s have the audacity to break tradition with the professional political class, go figure.

Officer Brian Rice has been acquitted of all charges by Baltimore Judge Barry Williams (full ruling pdf embed below).  Rice is the third of four officers accused to have been acquitted of all charges; the fourth, officer Porter, ended with a mistrial:

[…] “prosecutors have failed to meet their burden of proving the charges beyond a reasonable doubt, instead asking the court to rely on presumptions or assumptions something it cannot do. The court cannot be swayed by sympathy, prejudice or public opinion.”

Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby has now tried four of the six Baltimore officers and, as further evidence of the ridiculousness of her attempts, she has not been able to achieve any convictions.

Sheriff David Clarke appears on set with Don Lemon who cuts off the feed and sends the show to commercial because he doesn’t like the pushback.
