The professional political class are going their best pearl-clutching routine, because Donald Trump dare say he’s bought influence, through political contributions, on behalf of his business interests.
How dare he say he’s given money to “get things”, while simultaneously saying “that’s what’s wrong with Washington DC”. “He’s part of the problem“, says Rand Paul.
The republicans, or, heck, anyone, who espouses ‘holier-than-thou’ outrage over this are, to borrow descriptive from Trump, absolute idiots and morons.
This is 2015, an era with Obama-level governmental fascism leading to issues like the IRS targeting of conservatives; just ask Catherine Englebrecht about it. Or better yet, watch and listen to this video – spoken on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives:
Ignore the colors on this map. Voting for Walker, Rubio, Cruz, Fiorina, et al only guarantees we are going to get Jeb Bush -VS- Hillary Clinton in 2016. Regardless of how much you despise the thought, it is written.
….”Expecting a different outcome is like standing at that soda machine that gives you diet ginger ale regardless of which button you push”…
The plan was broadly outlined in October of 2013. The details were filled in during the spring of 2014 – you were not paying attention. It’s too late for you to do anything to stop it.
The only thing left now is for you to do what Tom Donohue knows you will do: Select your candidate, believe it makes a difference, and then predictably you’ll get the CoC selection, Jeb Bush.
There is no substantive difference between Jeb and Hillary, and there is absolutely no difference between the current National GOP and National Democrats. Both parties are intent on the expansion of government, the diminishment of U.S. national interests (Main Street), along with the inflation of Wall Street interests (CoC) and capital markets (Koch Brothers).

Hillary is already affirmed as the Democrat candidate; However, Joe Biden would be ok too. The election to worry about is the GOP primary – those pesky conservatives.
Dividing/Fracturing the voting base is part of the strategy to get to Jeb as overall winner with 15% of the electorate. They have a really good plan. If a single candidate, based on geographic polling, could or would gain a larger single share than Jeb, another candidate would be added.
This is why Team Donohue (US CoC) placed wedges (Perry, Rubio, then Kasich, Pataki and Gilmore) within the larger electoral states (Texas, Florida, then later Ohio, New York and Virginia), the latter three being insurance policies purchased after June polling.

Given the transparent, albeit predictable, bias brutally evident in last nights debate, I’m going to leave this stuck to the top of the page for half the day.
In Part ONE I explained why Donald Trump’s candidacy was essentially a “nothing to lose” decision for conservatives, because all paths lead to Jeb Bush.
In Part TWO I explained why there is a severity within my position.
Here in Part THREE, as requested, I’ll expand for those who remain critical; and for those who are finding themselves called out as “ridiculous” for having the audacity to present such a non-traditional approach.
Starting with an actual defense (via comment) left by someone who presents the counter argument to my position of the GOP needing to be torn down. The counter-argument encapsulates many traditional political followers. Here is their point:
First of all, there a difference between the GOP and the Democrats. If there had been a GOP president instead of Obama, we would not have Obamacare, or all the regulations he’s issued, or all the idiotic DOJ civil rights investigations, or the two liberal SC justices he has appointed (which in turn lead to liberal SC decisions for years to come).
Second of all, destroying the GOP as it exists today will only lead to a smaller minority party which will never win a presidential contest, and probably gift the Democrats with permanent control of Congress.
Finally, Donald Trump wrote in 2000 that he favored a single-payer healthcare system like Canada, and told O’Reilly in 2012 that illegals should be given a pathway to citizenship. Viewing him as a “tool’ to defeat Obamacare and amnesty can most charitably be described as bizarre.
Politics is a game where you don’t get everything you want, and you frequently must settle for a choice that’s simply better than the alternative. You can’t just take your ball and go home.
Various forms of this argument are found dispersed amid the various blogs and comment sections therein; but essentially the essential argument is the same. So here’s the intellectual reply. (more…)
Infectious positive broad-base “crossover” support can’t be purchased. The enthusiasm for change is growing exponentially. The “Salty Girls” exemplify:
The Western Center for Journalism points out that Donald Trump enters debate arena today with incredible polling data from the South reflecting the grassroots disgust with the Republican Establishment and professional political class: (more…)
Well this adds a new twist to the Democrat platform of transparency. For ObamaCare congress was told “you have to pass the bill to find out what is in the bill”.
Now, however, it appears the Democrat position has evolved.
For Iran: ‘you have to approve the Iranian Nuclear Deal, and you’ll never find out what’s in the deal you are approving’.
WASHINGTON DC – The only Obama administration official to view confidential “side deals” between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) admitted Wednesday she and her team have only seen rough drafts.
“I didn’t see the final documents. I saw the provisional documents, as did my experts,” said Wendy Sherman, a lead U.S. negotiator for the deal, said Wednesday at a Senate Banking Committee hearing.
Sherman, under secretary of State for political affairs, said she was only allowed to see the confidential deals “in the middle of the negotiation” when the IAEA “wanted to go over with some of our experts the technical details.” (more…)
Apparently the media are running out of thesaurus reference words to obfuscate the illegality of using non-secure private data servers to conduct official State Department business. Not to worry, they’ll soon come up with new Clinton deflector words.
WASHINGTON POST – The FBI has begun looking into the security of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private e-mail setup, contacting in the past week a Denver-based technology firm that helped manage the unusual system, according to two government officials.
Also last week, the FBI contacted Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall, with questions about the security of a thumb drive in his possession that contains copies of work e-mails Clinton sent during her time as secretary of state.
The FBI’s interest in Clinton’s e-mail system comes after the intelligence community’s inspector general referred the issue to the Justice Department in July. Intelligence officials expressed concern that some sensitive information was not in the government’s possession and could be “compromised.” The referral did not accuse Clinton of any wrongdoing, and the two officials said Tuesday that the FBI is not targeting her. Two articles from today present a rather apropos look at modern feminist moonbattery:
It was suspected the undercover video’s contained discussion of Planned Parenthood discussing “fully intact fetuses”, which would be prima facie evidence of born alive infants. This disturbing aspect prompted a biotech company, Stem Express, to file a motion with a federal judge to block any further video release.
HOUSTON, Aug. 4–The fifth undercover video in the controversy over Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts shows the Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Melissa Farrell, advertising the Texas Planned Parenthood branch’s track record of fetal tissue sales, including its ability to deliver fully intact fetuses.
In the video, actors posing as representatives from a human biologics company meet with Farrell at the abortion-clinic headquarters of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston to discuss a potential partnership to harvest fetal organs. (more…)
Here’s the full video of the New Hampshire GOP Candidate Forum. The event was held at St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. The candidates appeared one at a time, answering questions determined by the editors of the Union Leader based on the topics suggested by the public:
Notes and Shortcuts – Yes, I watched all 2+ hours.
In essence the format was a little odd with candidates coming up to the stage for prepared questions. However, beyond the format, a basic flaw were the questions themselves.
The questions were specifically targeted soft ball pitches for each of the candidates strengths. Every question asked was a question you have formerly heard them answer. I am left with the impression this was not accidental.
Yet again, the transparency here is obvious. Marilyn Mosby doesn’t want to allow a commission to analyze the root cause of the Baltimore homicide rate; why, because -at the core- it’s her earlier activist, anti-cop, decisions that are creating the hostile city culture.
Through her efforts, and those of the predominantly black city leadership, they have created a petri-dish of empowered lawlessness while simultaneously undermining the lawful authority of the police officers who are charged with controlling the chaos.
Progressives of every stripe always attempt to avoid the consequences from their ideological constructs; to include hiding and masking the outcomes.
Baltimore – Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby recently derailed an initiative to bring together city leaders, law enforcement commanders, academics, public health officials and others to identify real-time homicide trends and develop targeted responses — the latest crime-fighting program to falter amid a dramatic spike in violence..
After months of promising unprecedented transparency and collaboration with law enforcement partners, Mosby said she didn’t want to share information that others in the fledgling Baltimore Homicide Review Commission considered critical to success. She said providing information on ongoing cases could compromise investigations or jeopardize the safety of victims and witnesses. (more…)
