Yesterday the New York Times posted a story titled: “Researchers or Corporate Allies? Think Tanks Blur the Line”.

[…] Think tanks, which position themselves as “universities without students,” have power in government policy debates because they are seen as researchers independent of moneyed interests. But in the chase for funds, think tanks are pushing agendas important to corporate donors, at times blurring the line between researchers and lobbyists. And they are doing so while reaping the benefits of their tax-exempt status, sometimes without disclosing their connections to corporate interests.

Thousands of pages of internal memos and confidential correspondence between Brookings and other donors — like JPMorgan Chase, the nation’s largest bank; K.K.R., the global investment firm; Microsoft, the software giant; and Hitachi, the Japanese conglomerate — show that financial support often came with assurances from Brookings that it would provide “donation benefits,” including setting up events featuring corporate executives with government officials, according to documents obtained by The New York Times and the New England Center for Investigative Reporting. As a person who has floated though the disconcerting world of Think Tank politics, the Times article was a worthy notation not only because of the substance within it, but also -and perhaps more aptly- because in the world of intellectual property amalgamation such a news article (research proposition) doesn’t just happen organically as a matter of happenstance.

Anyone thinking Donald Trump is not intensely serious about America-First economics received a massive dose of reality when they realized Donald Trump put reinstatement of Glass-Steagall into the Republican Platform:

“We support reinstating the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 which prohibits commercial banks from engaging in high-risk investment,” said the platform released by the Republican National Committee. (link)

This is a modified and updated repost from an early January ’16 outline which collected data from all of the various Donald Trump interviews, position papers, and historical outlines. Candidate Trump has been speaking about broad U.S. economic issues for decades. Trump approaches the challenges by focusing on “Main Street”, not Wall Street.

For the sake of brevity, we’re going to accept that most readers here are familiar with who funds and directs Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush, John McCain, Mitch McConnell, and in larger more consequential measures –  the DC UniParty legislative team in charge of U.S. Policy, ie. Wall street.

During the January 2016 South Carolina debate, and in response to Trump pointing out a necessary shift in trade position (a shift to put American interests first – a shift to stop the dependency on cheap import goods – a shift to use China’s dependency on access to our market to OUR advantage), Jeb Bush came back with an example of Boeing manufacturing.

Donald Trump, responded to Jeb’s Boeing example, and pointed out China is forcing Boeing to open a manufacturing plant in China. As would be typical from a candidate who is unfamiliar and poorly briefed on the issue, Jeb Bush looked back incredulously and said:

“C’mon man”…

There we saw it.

Democrat National Committee supporter Bil Maher confronted WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange during an HBO interview which aired last night.

From the video it is clear that Mr. Maher was intent on isolating Assange and protecting the candidacy of Hillary Clinton.  Maher was/is upset about the the damage WikiLeaks created by exposing the intentional bias, fraud and party directed black-ops attacks against former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

Despite Maher’s best efforts, things did not go according to his plan:

Revolutionary “treading” turns into President Obama and Tom Perez “stomping”…

(Via The Daily Mail) The United States workplace discrimination watchdog is considering if employees wearing clothing with a Gadsden flag logo are racial harassing African Americans.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is reportedly investigating the issue surrounding the ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ snake logo after an African American employee of a federal agency complained they were racially harassed when a co-worker wore a cap showing the symbol.

The complainant said he found the cap racially offensive to African Americans because the flag was designed by Christopher Gadsden, who he described as a ‘slave trader & owner of slaves’. (more…)

This is a great example of the current state, and competence, of American Journalism.  Worse yet, this example shows the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, didn’t even know what’s going on, and Vice-Presidential Candidate Tim Kaine also joins the crew of the clueless.

CNN and The Washington Post are both making an absurd attack Donald Trump story out of the most simple and easy to prove claim.

Donald Trump said there was video (yes, that’s a screen grab of the video above), put out by Iran, showing the United States sending pallets of cash in exchange for U.S. hostages.

Trump stated the Iranian’s were using the video to “embarrass the President“.  The Washington Post and CNN jumped on the Trump statement and immediately decried it as ridiculous and set out to prove the claim false: (more…)

When republican house speaker Paul “Omnibus” Ryan and republican Senator John McCain earlier refused to endorse candidate Donald Trump the media proclaimed both were standing on high morale ground based on principle.   Ergo, it was Trump’s fault.

Of course it was.

Representative Paul Ryan is the staunch TPP trade advocate who also supports open borders, amnesty, the failed gang-of-eight bill, the Koch Brothers and Wall Street’s legislative priorities as reflected by globalist Tom Donohue and the crony U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, Paul Ryan supports unlimited corporate spending to influence U.S. elections, and radical changes to social security and entitlement benefits.

All of these Ryan positions and interests are directly counter to republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. (more…)

President Obama held a joint press conference today with Prime Minister Lee of Singapore, the subject of the White House meeting was Obama’s controversial Trans-Pacific Trade deal.

However, breaking with all traditional political decorum, and using a seeded question from the press gallery, President Obama launched into a five minute tirade against republican presidential candidate Donald Trump:

After the Brexit vote, the immediate and continual cries from the failed globalists within the ‘Remain’ camp exploited a narrative of Scotland who had a majority vote to stay in the EU.

However, the most current poll (full pdf below) now offering Scotland the option to leave the United Kingdom and align with the European Union,  finds the majority of Scots want to stay in the UK even if it means they cannot access the single-market system of the European Union.

Additionally, there are many indications that Britain is on the cusp of a major economic boom as a result of the EU Brexit.  This poll is a significant fail for the narrative of the European and Western globalists.

(Reuters) Most Scots still back remaining in the United Kingdom despite Britons voting to leave the European Union, a move which was opposed by the majority in Scotland, according to an opinion poll published on Saturday.

Scotland’s nationalist First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has said the June 23 vote for Brexit had put Scottish independence back on the agenda just two years after it was rejected in a referendum. (more…)

A good breakdown of a specific DNC convention speaker Jennifer Lim at The Intercept, outlines what we have been discussing for over four years.  Wall Street, via The U.S. Chamber of Commerce (Tom Donohue President) will support Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

Jennifer Lim (pictured below left) was presented to the DNC Convention audience as the co-founder of Republican women for Hillary.  What the DNC did not tell the audience was Lim’s day job as a lobbyist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

As we continually stated throughout the GOP primary race, if Donald Trump was able to secure the GOP nomination the UniParty globalist financiers would support Hillary Clinton.
