Many people were wondering why the White House was holding back on calling out the congressional intelligence oversight gang-of-eight regarding their political unwillingness to review the same executive intelligence previously reviewed by House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes.
Today, you just got the answer.
White House Deputy Chief-of-Staff Katie Walsh was fired today immediately following a New York Times report which outed two National Security Council members as the source for Devin Nunes “tip” to review a specific batch of President Obama’s executive intelligence. The transparent sequence of events reveals that Walsh was the source of NYT reporter Maggie Haberman’s article; (Walsh and Haberman are “friends”).

And with the White House Leaker now identified and fired, the White House challenges the congressional intelligence committee leaders, four members of the oversight ‘gang-of-eight,’ to come and review the Obama intelligence report. That review request paints Intel Committee Ranking Member Adam Schiff, and Senate Intelligence Committee Vice-Chair Senator Mark Warner into a corner.
President Trump is now challenging the House and Senate intel committee heads to review the evidence of President Obama’s surveillance. How can they refuse to see the truth without exposing their political agenda?
Well played, Team Trump, well played.
Here’s the play – FIRST THE LEAKER: (more…)
Earlier today President Trump followed through on one of his campaign promises; a White House initiative to combat the epidemic of Opioid abuse. President Trump begins with gathering information during a listening session:
[TRANSCRIPT] 11:32 A.M. EDT – THE PRESIDENT: Hello, everybody. Thank you for being here with us this morning. During my campaign, I promised to take action to keep drugs from pouring into our country. And I want to just thank Secretary Kelly; he’s done an amazing job. Down 61 percent at the border right now in terms of people and the drugs that are being stopped. It will take longer, and there’s great cooperation with Mexico and others. But we’re doing a good job.

It appears the political left are having trouble embedding a false narrative or else they wouldn’t need to expend so much energy attempting to deceive their audience.
To fully grasp the level of political obfuscation and lying inherent within this interview it helps to understand and absorb the prior reference articles: HERE and HERE.

Represenative Adam Schiff is the vice-chair of the House Intelligence Committee and as a consequence of his position he is a member of the Intelligence Oversight Gang of Eight.
♦ Adam Schiff can go and look at any information Chairman Devin Nunes has already reviewed. ♦ Adam Schiff does not want to see the intelligence because he would be unable to keep lying about it. ♦ Devin Nunes cannot share the Go8 level intelligence with the full committee because the committee is not authorized to see it; only Adam Schiff can.
In order for Schiff to maintain his public protestations, entirely based on politics, he must mislead about the rules and laws surrounding the intelligence product. Schiff must also keep the committee from seeing the full executive intelligence report that is concerning to Devin Nunes. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW: (more…)
Following up on THIS EXPLAINER.
♦ Obviously Chairman Devin Nunes has placed himself outside the rails of Deep State. ♦ The UniParty now wants him removed. ♦ Nunes has become a risk. ♦ Brutally obvious questions being ignored by media become focus of wider electorate.

2017 Congressional Intelligence Oversight “Gang of Eight”
Chairman Nunes is the only member of the Intelligence Oversight Gang-of-Eight who has reviewed the executive level intelligence product which caused him concern. Nunes alleged in the last week he received evidence that Obama administration political figures gained access to unmasked American identities through foreign intercepts involving the Trump transition team between November 2016 and January 2017.
Media and congressional leadership intentionally skip the obvious questions:
♦ Why don’t the other seven members also go look at the same executive intel?
• Why, instead of looking at the same data, does the entire UniParty political apparatus and DC media now seem intent on eliminating Devin Nunes?
• Why doesn’t Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer or Mark Warner simply go look at the same executive intelligence product?
• Why doesn’t Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell or Richard Burr simply go look at the same executive intelligence product?
• Why doesn’t any member of the DC media ask such brutally obvious questions?

“SCIF” – Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility. To understand the larger Devin Nunes briefing issues it is important to focus on the word “compartmented”.
Intelligence information is housed by compartments. Each intelligence unit holds intelligence unique to that compartment. The FBI Counter-Intelligence Unit would hold the intel information specific to their task or assignment. The CIA would hold their own compartmented intel; again, specific to their task and objectives. So too would the NSA or Pentagon.

This compartmented structure is what led to the creation of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, ODNI. The 911 commission recommended the position to serve as a hub able to ensure intelligence sharing; that is – to ensure intelligence was not intentionally withheld from other compartments when needed.
It is doubtful the 911 commission ever gave thought to what might happen when intelligence is weaponized as a political tool. The DNI is a political appointment, a cabinet member, of the President.
Thoughtful exposition – If the executive branch, the President, wanted to weaponize intelligence as a political tool, he/she would have control over such weaponization as an outcome of their political appointees within the: CIA (Brennan), NSA (Rogers), FBI (Comey), DNI (Clapper), DoD (Ash Carter), etc.
However, understandably the key figure would be the DNI hub – James Clapper.

This is stunningly interesting and hopefully will be picked up by MSM and congressional investigators.
Sometimes when a person is deep inside an echo-chamber of like-minded ideologues, they might not realize what they’re saying is rather revealing to those on the outside. That’s the set up for former Obama administration official Evelyn Farkas (Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense) appearing on MSNBC and admitting first hand knowledge the Obama administration spied on candidate and president-elect Donald Trump’s transition team to gather “intelligence” for political use.
It would appear Ms. Farkas was so caught up in the discussion, she didn’t quite realize the significant admissions she was making about the Obama administration spying on Donald Trump’s team and generating classified intelligence for Ms. Farkas (and others) to spread to Capitol Hill politicians. MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski recognized the ‘oh-snap’ admission and tried to play it off,… but by then it was too late.
I was urging my former colleagues, and, and frankly speaking the people on the Hill [Democrat politicians], it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you can – get as much intelligence as you can – before President Obama leaves the administration.
Because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior [Obama] people who left; so it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy, um, that the Trump folks – if they found out HOW we knew what we knew about their, the Trump staff, dealing with Russians – that they would try to compromise those sources and methods; meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence.
So I became very worried because not enough was coming out into the open and I knew that there was more. We have very good intelligence on Russia; so then I had talked to some of my former colleagues and I knew that they were also trying to help get information to [Democrat politicians].
But wait, it didn’t just stop there. It gets worse – or better, depending on your position.

The global religion of billionaire carbon traders takes a hit today as the Church of Climatology is diminished by executive action. Apoplectic leftist meltdowns begin in 3,… 2,… 1….
Earlier this afternoon President Trump visited the Washington DC sanctuary of the EPA and signed an executive order reauthorizing America’s energy independence program.
[Transcript] 2:14 P.M. EDT – THE PRESIDENT: Thank you. (Applause.) Thank you very much. I guess they like what we’re about to sign. I knew they were going to like this one. Well, thank you very much. I very much appreciate it. And thank you to our great Vice President, Mike Pence.

Well, it would appear the desperation of the DC MSM is reaching climax. Today the Washington Post cooks up a nothingburger narrative framed around letters from former DOJ interim head Sally Yates to the DOJ.
JUST THE FACTS: • The congressional intelligence committee asked Sally Yates to appear and discuss her activity. • Sally Yates asks the DOJ for permission to appear. • The DOJ tells Sally Yates her prior role was acting head of the DOJ a position subject to the authority of the White House; therefore she should ask the White House not the DOJ. • Sally Yates asks the White House same question, and states a non-response equals permission. • White House gives non-response granting permission.
Which leads to The Washington Post writing a narrative claiming President Trump White House blocking Yates from appearing. Huh?

Yes, it has become that silly. Later when questioned, Press Secretary Sean Spicer says same again: “I hope she testifies.” “We don’t care if Sally Yates testifies etc..”
Media has conniption fit, because President Trump White House doesn’t care. President Trump and White House don’t care because entire “muh Russia” narrative is a nothingburger. Meanwhile high-information political types roll their eyes at the transparent agenda-question MSM avoids:
Why is Sally Yates sending copies of her nothingburger DOJ and White House letters to the Washington Post?
Throughout the day today liberal media have been trying to make a controversy over House Intel Committee Chairman Devin Nunes visiting the White House on the day prior to his press conference revealing surveillance of Trump transition team members.
The implication of the MSM reporting was that Nunes was in cahoots with the Trump administration. However, Nunes has explained that the visit to the White House facility was needed because the databases of intelligence are “compartmented”.
Meanwhile, CNN’s insufferable agenda-driven Wolf Blitzer tries to get Chairman Nunes to break the rules and say too much about confidential material. Blitzer is literally trying to compromise Nunes during his broadcast. Quite stunning – SEE VIDEO:
.
Beyond Blitzer trying to dig up information on behalf of those who are at risk from Chairman Nunes, it becomes obvious CNN is trying to signal to the Obama leakers within the aggregate intelligence community and provide them information they can use to defend themselves from further investigation.
All intelligence information is viewed within a SCIF, a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility. The originating entity for the intel information is the proprietary host for their intelligence within their database. The databases are not connected. The SCIF in congress does not contain the same information as the SCIF in the executive (or any other intelligence community).
