We first discussed this over the weekend when several unusual “adjustments” all aligned with a computer compromise.   The White House network was indeed compromised.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Suspicious cyber activity has been detected on the computer network used by the White House and measures have been taken to address it, a White House official disclosed on Tuesday.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, would not say who might have been responsible for the activity on what was described as an unclassified computer network used by employees of the Executive Office of the President.

“In the course of assessing recent threats we identified activity of concern on the unclassified EOP network. Any such activity is something that we take very seriously. In this case we took immediate measures to evaluate and mitigate the activity,” the official said. (more…)

Initially we were on the fence about being able to identify her political ideology. Not any longer. She’s a clear cut typical progressive democrat.

(USA TODAY) Aides to President Obama are criticizing decisions by three states to quarantine people who are returning from Ebola-stricken West Africa.

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and United Nations ambassador Samantha Power said quarantines may discourage health workers from traveling to West Africa to help block the disease at its source. (more…)

Apparently law and order in Ferguson Missouri has completely collapsed.  The black street thugs now appear to control the community.  Empowered by the non-response of state and federal officials to stop their lawless behavior, the street mobs -no, wait, these are not “mobs” these are beyond mobs, they’re animals-  have gained a foothold promoting anarchy.
It is important to understand exactly how far the police have withdrawn in their ability to control the street gangs.   In this short video from 2 days ago you see a police officer who attempted to drive through the safari and was surrounded by the mob/animals.
After several moments of threats and rabid provocations, the officer answers the telephone.  The animalistic thugs make the assumption he is conversing with his wife and shout threats of rape toward her.  Watch:

Once you witness the extent of behavior the raging mob is allowed by law enforcement, then you can understand what flows as a consequence when ordinary citizens are confronted with the same animalistic behavior.

(IBD) ObamaCare shoppers in search of the lowest-cost plan may come down with a mild case of rate shock when 2015 exchange enrollment begins next month.
An examination of next year’s rates in the biggest city in 15 states and Washington, D.C., reveals that the cost of the cheapest bronze plan will jump an average of 13.9% for 40-year-old non-smokers earning 225% of the poverty level ($26,260).
In Seattle, the cost of the cheapest bronze plan, after subsidies, will soar 64%, from $60 to $98 per month, for individuals at this income level. Some other cities seeing notable gains include Providence (up 38%, from $72 to $99 per month); Los Angeles (up 27%, from $88 to $111); Las Vegas (up 22%, from $100 to $122); and New York (up 18%, from $97 to $114).
The surge in the cost of the cheapest subsidized bronze policy could negatively impact enrollment in 2015. This year, 39% of bronze plan choosers picked the lowest-price option. One might expect that share to rise in 2015, when millions of people who passed on ObamaCare exchanges this year are expected to enroll. (more…)

Inside the beltway conversation has all but announced the nomination of current labor secretary Tom Perez to replace Eric Holder. If you were inclined to think of Eric Holder as an activist Attorney General, you can multiply that by infinite magnitudes with Tom Perez. We have researched him for several years as his job before Labor Secretary was the head of the CRS.

However there are two serious issues which could disqualify Perez from contention to the job, IF they are reviewed by the Senate.
The first was his attachment to an illegal quid-pro-quo scheme.
Back in 2013 a St. Paul, Minnesota community activist, Frederick Newell, appeared before a senate committee to expose (discuss) a $200 million whistleblower lawsuit that Tom Perez, the head of the Department of Justice’s civil rights enforcement, allegedly dismissed as part of a quid pro quo deal with the city of St. Paul.
The city withdrew a petition that was headed to the Supreme Court in a case that would have easily overturned the concept of disparate impact, a racial discrimination doctrine that Perez supports.
The concept of disparate impact is the lynch pin to the entire construct of the DOJ’s approaches toward activist engineering and policy – a supreme court ruling against the application of disparate impact would have destroyed years of social engineering work done by the DOJ.
In exchange for St. Paul dropping the Supreme Court case, the DOJ dropped their support for a whistleblower lawsuit against the city citing the lawsuit having no merit. (more…)
