Senator Mike Lee questions FBI Director Chris Wray about the FBI using tenuous legal authorities to identify people who attended the DC protest rally on January 6, 2021.

Senator Lee specifically asks FBI Director Wray if they are using cell phone geolocation and under what legal authority this is being done:  National Security Letters? FISA Court? Search warrants based on probable cause?  Wray’s respons is disingenuous… WATCH:

Additionally, according to a segment aired February 4th on Tucker Carlson television show, Bank of America sent customer purchasing history to federal agencies to assist in their investigation of persons who attended the January 6th protest in Washington DC.

Again, demonstrating the ramifications from a lack of privacy protection, the assembly of an enemies list has been part of the overall investigation.  Gizmodo outlined how the phone numbers of Parler users were tracked using GPS and also used by investigators [SEE HERE] This type of exploitation should serve as a warning to Americans…. There is a big brother, and that system can/will be weaponized by government if/when an ideological administration is in power – like now.

An announcement today from the U.S. District of Connecticut John Durham is a little perplexing.  According to the announcement USAO John Durham is resigning from office effective February 28.   However, there is no information about his prior appointment as special counsel to review the DOJ and FBI conduct in the Trump investigation.

The FBI documents outline how Stefan Halper was enlisted by the FBI for their operation to target the campaign of Donald Trump in 2016. Halper agreed to become a confidential human source (CHS) or spy for the FBI, and record contacts with several members of the Trump campaign in order to frame the Russian collusion narrative.

Despite secret recordings showing Carter Page clearly had no idea about any Russian connections to the campaign, or people within it; and despite Page clearly rebuking any effort to draw those inferences; the FBI still went forward with a Title-1 FISA surveillance warrant against Page and never informed the court of the exculpatory recordings.

SOLOMON – […] The memos show that the FBI instructed Halper in August 2016 not to focus on Papadopoulos first, but rather on Page, whom the FBI described as an “opportune target.” Papadopoulos was given the code name Crossfire Typhoon (CT), while Page was given the codename Crossfire Dragon (CD) in the memos.

[Hat Tip John Fredricks, for the meeting particulars]  The Forsyth County, Georgia, republican party held a meeting to discuss why their senate candidates failed to win the run-off election in January.  The screenshot of their justification is a case study in why the republican apparatus fails, and why the challenge to reform the party is so difficult.

First, it is important to filter through what is described as the “Tea Party” support base within the professional republican apparatus.  Genuine Tea Party outlooks are in total alignment with the MAGA perspectives of Donald Trump.  However, there are elements within the republican party that are more traditionally GOPe-minded and yet assign themselves to the outlook of the Tea Party. There is a difference, but more on that in a moment.  Here’s how the Forsyth County political activists are explaining:

Notice, the Forsyth County GOP blame-cast against the base of voters by identifying people they view as outside the party interest.  They blame libertarians, populists, Trump, Steve Bannon, John Fredricks and even the candidates themselves which includes Doug Collins for being too outside the base of voter enthusiasm.  This view tells us what the mindset of the internal republican network in Forsyth County is !!

Do not just dismiss their justification as presented.  CTH warned in 2014 and 2015 this ideological outlook, this disconnect from the reality of the base, would lead to a big problem…. and it has.  I shall provide a concrete example below of just how dangerous this fracture is within our constitutional republic.  The reason we need more trumpet.

As a person who has traveled extensively in the past decade+ to engage the base of middle-class support that represents MAGA, I can attest that the disconnect between the republican party apparatus and the base of voters they depend on is a severe problem. Without correction… there is no alternative other than to create a THIRD party.

Today the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs and Rules & Administration Committees are holding a joint hearing “Examining the January 6 Attack on the US Capitol.” The witnesses: Metropolitan Police Dept. acting chief Robert Contee III, former US Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, former Senate Sergent at Arms Michael Stenger, and former House Sergent at Arms Paul Irving are scheduled to answer questions.

The goal of the Democrat-Fascist party, currently in the majority position, is to label any challenge to the fraudulent JoeBama administration as an insurrection; and any Americans who would question their authority to be labeled a domestic terrorist.  The walls, barbed wire and military troops protecting DC from the public remain in place.

Giving the Chinese, Iranian and Russian state police a run for their money… Apparently the Federal Bureau of Investigation, ie. the U.S. version of “State Police” enforcement units, have found a cause they are really committed to: finding every person who attended the Capitol Hill protests on January 6, 2021. In a scene straight out of Orwell’s 1984 warning, the FBI is literally calling their effort the hunt for “America’s Most Wanted.”  To achieve their goal, the FBI has been asking for help from their ideological comrades in the state run media apparatus, and achieving a great deal of success. [Tweet Link] In a new twist to find actionable legal violations for which the activist DOJ can bring charges, the FBI is now seeking help to identify: “individuals who targeted members of the media for assault, threats, destruction of property, and other unlawful conduct.”  Yes, the Biden DOJ is using “Assault on Media” as a criminal charge.

It is not accidental this same FBI turned a blind eye to terrorist warnings around attacks in San Bernardino, Boston Marathon, Parkland High School, Garland Texas, Fort Hood, Pulse Nightclub, Mandalay Bay Vegas, etc. etc… the list is long.  However, some random folks petitioning congress to air grievances is considered domestic terrorism worthy of thousands of FBI agents and innumerable man hours just to hunt down dissenters.  [Look at the Arrest List]

• 13 FBI Agents assigned to investigate a NASCAR garage door pull-down rope…

• Who can even fathom how many FBI agents are assigned to this task…

The confirmation hearing for U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, a far-left advocate for intrusive weaponization of government against political adversaries, is underway today. The afternoon session should resume around 1:30pm

If Garland is confirmed there will be multiple people and groups who supported President Trump targeted by the U.S. Department of Justice.  The extremist Lawfare group is openly advocating for more political targeting; to wit Garland has openly stated his intent to continue weaponizing the DOJ where former AG Eric Holder left-off.

Senator Ron Johnson appears on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the upcoming senate pantomime under the auspices of a review of the events around the Capitol Hill breech and security threat.  Johnson is useless.

Next week the senate is expected to hold hearings about the January 6th DC protests that ended with a breach of the Capitol Hill building and chambers of congress.  Democrats want to keep using the 1/6/21 protest as an excuse to justify their newly installed fencing, barbed-wire and security perimeter which includes U.S. military troops.

In the bigger picture the hearings serve to deflect attention away from the fraud in mail-in ballots during the 2020 election by focusing attention away from the issue.  The democrats are attempting to label those who would question the election results as “insurrectionists”.

The hearing schedule around the 1/06/21 protests is an orchestrated effort at narrative engineering to keep attention away from the illegitimacy of a Biden administration.  Meanwhile the quisling GOPe politicians cower in their offices, provide no push-back and worry they will be labeled as extremists by the leftist-media and democrat politicians.

We do not have the same voice as our ever-strengthening oppressors, and we do not have the same rights that they enjoy.

For those who might argue that there more of us, or at least as many of us, who believe in individual liberty and free market capitalism than there are opponents to same, I would suggest that you should not confuse a simple head count with total political atomic mass. The positions within society that our opponents hold and the institutions and machinery they control gives them leverage beyond simple membership numbers.

As to our being cast in the role of dissidents, we have no choice. How we conduct ourselves in that role will be the difference between having a chance over the long term to ultimately prevail or having to spend a century or more under the totalitarian’s thumb. We need to understand the role we are in, the most effective course of action we can take, and above all, we must understand and accept our limitations. The power of government comes from the people; or as we say in the U.S. “from the consent of the governed.” When people lead, the politicians are forced to follow. Without implied consent the municipal or state government has no power. None.

The power of the local, regional or state authority comes from the expressed consent of the people. As soon as the majority of people deny that consent, those officials and state authoritarians lose all of their power.  Yes, it really is that simple.  WATCH:
