WASHINGTON DC – Michael Sherwin, the federal prosecutor tasked with investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, told “60 Minutes” in an interview that aired Sunday night evidence collected thus far likely meets the threshold to charge some suspects with sedition.
Any person charged with sedition is effectively accused of attempting to overthrow the U.S. government and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Claim a desire for mid-east peace, set the middle-east on fire with the Arab Spring (Obama Cairo speech). Claim a desire for middle-class workers, yet facilitate corporate offshoring. Claim a desire for Israeli security yet attack Egyptian President Fattah al-Sisi for creating Israeli security. Accept a Nobel Peace Prize, set Libya on fire and kill thousands. Accept a Nobel Peace Prize, then attack Syria. Hypocrisy, hypocrisy, hypocrisy.
Champion women’s’ causes on stage, yet embrace Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood who devalue women. Claim to support democratic elections, then undermine the majority election outcome of the British vote in Brexit. Everything, every – single – thing, about the Obama foreign policy was an exercise in hypocrisy. There were ZERO foreign policy successes, NONE. Jason Miller, one of President Trump’s sketchy senior advisers, told Fox News today that President Trump will be launching an exclusive new platform in the next two to three months. Miller said he couldn’t provide much in the way of specifics about the new Trump social media venture, but he said he expected it to be online in about two to three months.

Comrades, the Michigan COVID compliance ministry has arrested dissident Marlena Pavlos-Hackney, 55, the owner of Marlena’s Bistro and Pizzeria for refusing to comply with the dictates of the state lockdown. Ms. Pavlos Hackney now faces more than three months in prison for her non-compliance. A fellow citizen who attempted to assist the restaurant owner also had an arrest warrant issued for his support of her.
MICHIGAN – […] Ingraham County Circuit Judge Rosemaria Aquilina accused Pavlos-Hackney of having “selfishly not followed the orders” and accused her of doing so “for your own financial gain and apparently for the publicity that comes with it” during a hearing on Friday.
The restaurant owner will be in jail until the state is confident that her establishment is closed and after she pays $7,500, according to the Detroit News.

This level of evasive non-answer from the White House is actually dangerous to our national and foreign policy. Our adversaries can see the sensitive spots of weakness within an administration that is fearful of the truth. Those adversaries can then exploit this weakness to drive further division through influence operations.
Most people do not realize how dangerous fabricated stories can be upon a nation that is strong only when it is exhibiting truth. If the domestic and international audience recognize the United States government is truth-adverse on the little things, the ability of our nation to influence positive results on the bigger global issues is destroyed.
Ultimately it boils down to this: Devalue the United States and the world begins to destabilize. Recognize and/or accept this consequence, and you realize that outcome is a feature of Obama’s larger plan, it is not a flaw.
