The White House on Saturday released a statement from President Obama after it was announced that Secretary of State John Kerry had helped broker a deal with Russia for the removal of Syria’s chemical weapons.

Here’s the full statement:

“I welcome the progress made between the United States and Russia through our talks in Geneva, which represents an important, concrete step toward the goal of moving Syria’s chemical weapons under international control so that they may ultimately be destroyed. This framework provides the opportunity for the elimination of Syrian chemical weapons in a transparent, expeditious, and verifiable manner, which could end the threat these weapons pose not only to the Syrian people but to the region and the world. The international community expects the Assad regime to live up to its public commitments. (more…)

(FLORIDA)  A Florida ministry that feeds the poor said a state agriculture department official told them they would not be allowed to receive USDA food unless they removed portraits of Christ, the Ten Commandments, a banner that read “Jesus is Lord” and stopping giving Bibles to the needy.

“They told us they could no longer allow us to have any religious information where the USDA food is going to be,” said Kay Daly, executive director of the Christian Service Center.
So why did the government have an issue with the religious group’s religious decorations? A spokesperson for the Florida Department of Agriculture told me they were following the guidelines written by the USDA. (more…)

This story has been submitted repeatedly to us via email.   Quite frankly we did not post about it because most of the recent Zimmerman Headlines have been nothing short of ridiculous, gossipy, and devoid of any reasonable “big picture” value.

Why put yourself through watching the slow drain circling?   Do you pull over to watch the bodies removed from the mangled wreckage, or just say a brief prayer and continue your travels?

The media would like nothing more than to find a reason to prove they were right all along, and ‘they‘ had the accurate representation of George Zimmerman from day #1.
I find the absence of the larger GZ circle to anticipate such manipulative media endeavors, given their experience with the media over the past eighteen months, exceptionally naïve.

They are each approaching 30 years of age.
Whether George or Shellie Zimmerman can regain their common sensibilities, and begin to make forward decisions based on reasonable caution, is, well, questionable at best. (more…)

From what can be gathered within a myriad of media reports is that Sec. Kerry / POTUS have agreed to leave “U.S. threat of force” out of U.N. resolution against Syria for non-compliance.   Meaning if Assad does not comply with U.N. mandate to disarm himself of chemical weapons, the U.S. had conceded a strike by us will not be one of the consequences.
Instead, the “stick” per se’, to non-compliance from Syria, would be a return to the U.N. Security Council for a resolution allowing the “use of force”.  
D’oh..  Russia can, by structural Security Council set-up, veto any such follow-up proposal.

In a part of Jack Cashill’s latest book, “If I Had A Son – Race, Guns, and The Railroading of George Zimmerman“, Jack outlined a brief snippet of my encounters with M-DSPD Law Enforcement while seeking to obtain public records.      I can tell you from first-hand experience it is dangerous, literally physically dangerous, and nerve wracking.
Because few, if any, citizens attempt to keep public officials focused on the lawful execution of their role/job; and because few, if any, journalists actually do the boot work to gain first-hand information contained within those records,  government officials feel little to no compulsion to comply with the law.
Most of the officials, clerks, administrators, and compliance persons, associated with facilitation of Public Records have no idea what the laws are which should guide their compliance with lawfully requested record fulfillment.   Those that do have some understanding know how to pressure, leverage, manipulate and delay such requests.

It is the policy of this state [Florida] that all state, county, and municipal records are open for personal inspection and copying by any person. Providing access to public records is a duty of each agency.   (Pam Bondi FL Statute 119.01 Public Records)

It is not a mission for the faint at heart.
Persistence is the key.   But organization, preparation and training yourself to stay in control of your “fight or flight” emotion is an absolute necessity.

(Via Fox News) Elizabeth O’Bagy, a pro-Syrian opposition analyst whose credibility has come under fire, might have even more explaining to do – as court documents show she once vouched for a rebel group whose website displayed extremist and anti-American images.
Among the pictures was one showing a burning U.S. Capitol.

O’Bagy was fired earlier this week by the Institute for the Study of War for allegedly lying about her academic credentials. Her writings had been used by U.S. officials to bolster their case for military action against the Assad regime.
O’Bagy discussed the rebel group in question in a June 19, 2013 signed affidavit filed in the case of American Eric Harroun, who was indicted for fighting alongside the terror group al-Nusra in Syria. (more…)

This issue is actually one of a larger context.    It has been a topic of EXTREME leftist concern since the “blogosphere” took down one of their mouthpieces,  Dan Rather.
What the Limo-Liberals fear  more than anything else is a loss of control.   This control need and fear is, in the purest sense, at the core of liberalism because the structure of their ideology is antithetical to Freedom.    They need to maintain a ruse.
Ask anyone who has lived in, or been subjected to, information controls like former Soviet Union, China, North Korea, and many Middle East nations; they’ll tell you what value exists in communication with like-minded patriots.  It is the core of morale.
Progs, leftists, Democrats et al, need to control because the construct of their ideology cannot survive the scrutiny of sunlight.   Hence, all of their moves are to restrict free expressions of ideas and information. (more…)

WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 12, 2013 – Today, teachers in Kenosha, Wis., voted to decertify their union, the Kenosha Education Association, by a margin of nearly two to one.
Only 37 percent of the teachers opted to retain the union in an election made possible by the labor reforms enacted under Gov. Scott Walker (R). The result goes to show that when workers have a choice on whether to join a union instead of being forced into one by law, they often choose to vote down the union.
Competitive Enterprise Institute labor policy analyst Matt Patterson said regarding the vote in Kenosha:  “Gov. Walker’s bold and effective reforms have loosened the grip of unions on Wisconsin’s public purse, to the benefit of taxpayers and to the detriment of Big Labor bosses.

Typical Democrat. It was the process that was wrong. It was the voters that were wrong. It was everyone else’s fault. Cannot fathom that her insufferable ideology is not in line with her constituents. It just *has* to be something else…. anything else.

This is how the liberal left works. They hate America, they hate the Military. They are indoctrinated ideologues with nothing of value.

What’s worse is the typical cognitive disconnect always visible in the insufferable mind of the progs. The construct of our military is civilian leadership. The students are protesting against the man who is following the orders of that leadership. Ridiculous. Their emphasis is not only on the wrong syllable, it’s profoundly misplaced.
