This guy has a brain eating amoeba or something transferred during the Flavor-Aid party.
The transparency of the progressive movement is obvious. In the 2012 election cycle we were introduced to Sandra Fluke and her demands of tax-payer funded contraception; this evolved into the ‘War On Women’ faux-outrage campaign.
In this 2014 election cycle the angst needs additional victimization check boxes. Ergo you are being introduced to a “black” (check box one for race/victimization), “gay” (check box two for sexual orientation/victimization), “collegiate football player” (check box three for youth vote/victimization), Michael Sam, who announces his sexual orientation as a measure of his fluke-like worthiness to the progressive left.
Whether Michael Sam is a good football player, a man of strong moral fiber, or an intellectual powerhouse, is irrelevant to the cause.
If he does not get drafted into the NFL the narrative will be because he’s gay and the NFL is homophobic – A successful victim, very useful.
If he does get drafted into the NFL it will be because the world is changing and *despite his victimization* he has succeeded. A successful victim, very useful.
One only needs to look at how the progressive left is scripting the introduction to know that YOU WILL SEE THIS NAME EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR.
“His story sends a message to LGBT, young people, especially young black men, that you are free to show up in the world as your authentic self and others will embrace you”. (USA Today)
If he does get not drafted a coast-to-coast “Democrats In 2014” bus tour campaign win begin. Eventually leading to Michael Sam being the Missouri 2016 Senate or House Candidate. (more…)
ROSIE O’DONNELL: Parker is 18. There he is in his military uniform. He’s been accepted to the Citadel. He’s very into the military because, you know, how do you annoy your left-wing liberal pacifist mother? You become a big military man. He’s the number one cadet at his school, Valley Forge Military Academy. He’s very interested. When he was really, you know, I said to him, “Why, honey? Why do you want to do –’ He said, only in America, mom, could somebody like you who came from a horrible childhood, grow up and adopt kids like me who needed a family and I owe something to this country.” And I said, “No, my son. You owe something to me.”

The Washington Free Beacon has a great outline worth spending some time digesting:
On May 12, 1992, Stan Greenberg and Celinda Lake, top pollsters for Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign, issued a confidential memo. The memo’s subject was “Research on Hillary Clinton.”
Voters admired the strength of the Arkansas first couple, the pollsters wrote. However, “they also fear that only someone too politically ambitious, too strong, and too ruthless could survive such controversy so well.”
Their conclusion: “What voters find slick in Bill Clinton, they find ruthless in Hillary.”
The full memo is one of many previously unpublished documents contained in the archive of one of Hillary Clinton’s best friends and advisers, documents that portray the former first lady, secretary of State, and potential 2016 presidential candidate as a strong, ambitious, and ruthless Democratic operative. Given what Senator Clinton formerly said about General “Betrayus”, and given the backstory of former CIA Analytical Director Mike Morell’s admitted manipulation of talking points and stand-in status for Petraeus; and given the fact that Petraeus gave testimony to congress that he didn’t know who changed the Benghazi talking points but claimed it was not the CIA; and given the fact Eric Holder was investigating Petraeus over the affair with Paula Broadwell at the time of Benghazi, well, something is three dimensional Machiavellian about this latest water-carrying.
(Via MediaIte) In the new book HRC, by The Hill’s Amie Parnes and Bloomberg’s Jonathan Allen, General David Petraeus praised Hillary Clinton as a potential president, specifically citing what many consider her biggest obstacle as a candidate: her role as Secretary of State overseeing the American compound in Benghazi when it was attacked in 2012.
“She’d make a tremendous president,” Petraeus said. “Like a lot of great leaders, her most impressive qualities were most visible during tough times. In the wake of the Benghazi attacks, for example, she was extraordinarily resolute, determined, and controlled.”
On This Week With George Stephanopoulos, Jon Karl brought this up to Representative Tom Cole (R-OK) and asked if it “took the wind out of the sails” of Benghazi as an anti-Hillary talking point. (read more with video)
If you have never attended a local City Council Meeting in your community, I would strongly urge you to schedule a little time to do so. In the video below a concerned citizen shares some perspective on a motion to invoke more stringent gun restrictions.
ALL YOUR CHILDREN ARE BELONG TO US ! – Two things to consider as you review the outline “School Gets Kids to Snitch on Parents“.
First, do you remember the Wisconsin School Teachers Union, and their activity around opposition to Governor Scott Walker’s financial reforms? If you do you’ll remember the teachers bringing students to protest with them, along with Madison University students and the fake doctors notes that resulted in investigations of fraud.
Secondly, if you read George Orwell’s 1984 you might remember Winston Smith’s mindless neighbor Tom Parsons, who believed all Party doctrine unquestioningly. Yet he wound up undergoing state torture because his state-indoctrinated brats were encouraged to turn him in for being a thought criminal ?
Wisconsin School Gets Kids to Snitch on Parents – The game is called “Cross the Line” and many outraged parents believe that it does just that.
A middle school in Marinette, Wisconsin got a group of 5th-8th graders together and organized a really fun game that asked students to step forward to answer “yes” to a series of highly personal questions.
Questions like:
Do your parents drink?
Do you cut yourself?
Has anyone in your family been to jail?
Have you ever wanted to commit suicide?
Do you or your parents do drugs?
Unbelievably, school administrators believed that this “game” would help the kids to be better and kinder friends. “The intent of this activity was to build stronger, more respectful relationships among students,” said Principal Shawn Limberg. The “game” was part of an anti-bullying program. (more…)
David Simon, a former police beat reporter in Baltimore, MD and creator of the popular television series, “The Wire” implies that Libertarians in America are “greedy” and decries Libertarianism as a “juvenile” idea that he “just can’t get past….”

Clearly upset that Fabian ideology is not taking root in the 20-somethings community, while the Libertarian movement is growing as an identified political affiliation in the cohort, he gave a speech in Australia in November, 2013 at the “Dangerous Ideas” conference declaring “Libertarianism in my country is now being taken seriously as an intelligent mode of political thought… it’s astonishing to me… ” (around the 8:00 – 10:00 mark) and then goes on a screed to deliberately disparage and attempt to dismiss the Libertarian school of thought – including the assertion that Libertarians are “anti-government” (as Moyers chuckles along in agreement…) Fraidy cat!
Just like everything from this administration, their leadership boils down to: “trust us”.
WASHINGTON DC – Does President Obama’s nominee for ambassador to Argentina, a campaign bundler who has never visited the country, even speak Spanish? The State Department doesn’t know.
“I don’t have his personal biography in front of me, but what I will convey is that,” State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki replied when asked by ABC’s Jon Karl if Noah Mamet, whose nomination to the crucial diplomatic post was considered by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Thursday, speaks Spanish.
“Judging somebody’s effectiveness, or what role they’ll play, or how strong of an ambassador they’ll be — you can’t do [that] until they’ve spent some time working in the job in the country,” she added.
In other words, you have to confirm the ambassador to Argentina to know what’s in the ambassador to Argentina. (READ MORE)
