*Update* IRS Claims They’ve “Lost” The Lois Lerner E-Mails – Not all of them, just the important ones… *Update* The Plot Thickens – Prior Congressional Testimony In March “Backed-Up, Archived and Stored” Refutes Current IRS Claims

update-1This is getting interesting – Jason Chaffetz responds to IRS claim of “lost emails” with prior congressional testimony specifically about that issue:

FRIDAY FEDERAL NEWS DUMP –  Well, they didn’t lose all of them, just the important ones – you know, the early emails between Lerner and various Democrats in office requesting her to take action and the construction of a plan of action – just those.

lois lerner 3(Via Washington Times) The IRS has told Congress that it has lost some of former employee Lois G. Lerner’s emails, including some covering communications with Democrats in Congress and with other parts of the government, the House’s top tax-law writer said Friday.

Rep. Dave Camp, chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, said he was stunned that it took more than a year into the investigation for the IRS to inform Congress that it didn’t have those emails.

The agency blamed a computer crash for the mishap. (more…)

Bowe Bergdahl Will Arrive In Texas This Morning…

Funny how Bergdahl leaves Landstuhl Medical Center 24 hours after Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel went bonzo when he was questioned about it.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Pentagon says Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl has now left Germany on board a U.S. military aircraft and will arrive at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, early Friday morning.

Bergdahl, who has been recovering in Germany after five years as a Taliban captive, is returning to the United States, but he will not receive the promotion that would have been automatic had he still been held prisoner.

A U.S. official said Bergdahl would go directly to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, arriving Friday.  (read more)

Denis McDonough and Tom Donilon Once Again At the Origin of The Current U.S. Crisis in Iraq….

obama-appeasement-foreign-policy-for-dummiesBack in 2011, amid the discussions of withdrawal from Iraq, and the debate over how many troops would be needed to maintain a stable environment, two influential names rose to the surface, Tom Donilon and Denis McDonough. Both Donilon and McDonough overrode the Pentagon advice, and advised President Obama to dismiss the military and heed their counsel instead.

New York Times October 2011:

In August [2011], after debates between the Pentagon, the State Department and the White House, the Americans settled on the 3,000 to 5,000 number, which was reported in August. According to two people briefed on the matter, one inside the administration and one outside, the arguments of two White House officials, Thomas E. Donilon, the national security adviser, and his deputy, Denis McDonough, prevailed over those of the military.

Intelligence assessments that Iraq was not at great risk of slipping into chaos in the absence of American forces were a factor in the decision, an American official said.  (link)

Hillary Clinton Says Christians Who Oppose Gay Marriage For Religious Reasons “Operate In An Evidence-Free Zone”… Then She Gets Snippy…

A written media report of this interview is HERE.  However, here’s the audio portion being discussed.

The knock on Christianity is in the early segment.    However, when Hillary is questioned about whether she evolved her opinion, or whether her belief in gay marriage was always present and she just couldn’t let it be known…. well, things get snippy.

That part begins just before @6:00:

White House Reacts To Cantor Loss – Team Obama Claims Cantor’s Support for Amnesty and Immigration Reform Had Nothing To Do With Defeat….

Reality begs to differ…

Empty_SuitWASHINGTON DC – A spokesman for President Obama rushed to assure House Republicans that Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R., Va.) didn’t actually lose because of his gestures toward Democrats on immigration reform.

“Cantor’s problem wasn’t his position on immigration reform, it was his lack of a position,” Obama advisor Dan Pfeiffer tweeted, citing the success of Senator Lindsay Graham (R., S.C.). “Graham wrote and passed a bill and is winning big.” (more…)

South Carolina Senator Tim Scott Outperformed RINO Lindsey Graham by 90,000 Votes and Won With almost 90%…

You might see punditry begin to obfuscate the Lindsey Graham win against the backdrop of the Eric Cantor loss.

Their collective goal will be to diminish the visibility of conservative strength and grassroots power (because we all know Graham to be a top shelf Decepticon) and cast aspersions toward us by saying the establishment holds in South Carolina.

So, how much support does Graham actually carry?

Let me just point out something factual for you to consider.   Both Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott were on the same South Carolina GOP primary Ballot.

As of this writing Lindsey Graham got 172,765 votes (56%) of support in his race.   However, Tim Scott garnered 265,586 votes and won with (89% of electorate) in his.

The same voters holding the same ballot gave Tim Scott more than 90,000 votes more than Lindsey Graham.

Crushes a few of those “talking points” no?

*Update Video Added* Chaos Erupts In Eric Cantor Election Night HQ – The Pre-Staged Amnesty Crew Went Bonzo Because Their Pre-Planned Operation Was Disrupted By The Defeat

An organized group of pro-amnesty activists were ready to use the Cantor election rally as a PR event to push their cause.   When Cantor lost, well, they went bonzo nuts….

(VIRGINIA) Cantor addressed his supporters for about four minutes at a suburban Richmond hotel ballroom, then boarded SUV without taking questions from supporters scurrying after him.

Then it got really rambunctious. In the room of downcast Cantor supporters, a new energy suddenly erupted — but not the kind they wanted election night. A group of immigration activists stormed the ballroom, screaming and waving a flag. “What do we want? Immigration reform! When do we want it? Now!”

A few Cantor supporters tried to block their entrance into the ballroom, and pushing and shoving ensued. And before they reached the microphone, one Cantor supporter threw his glass of wine onto a female protestor. She swore at him in return. (more…)
