Against the backdrop of both Israel (Netanyahu) and Egypt (el-Sisi) telling Secretary Kerry to stay out of the issues in the Gaza Strip – Kerry goes on the Sunday talk show circuit, and -during ‘hot mic’ candor- simultaneously reveals why Netanyahu and el-Sisi want Obama’s team kept out.

Just moments after a testy exchange with “Fox News Sunday’s” Chris Wallace over what the Secretary of State perceived as repeated interruptions, Wallace played a clip captured while Kerry waited to appear on the Sunday news program.
Seemingly oblivious to the fact that the State Department camera in front of him and mic pinned on his lapel were live, America’s top diplomat harshly criticized the on-going Israeli operation in Gaza following news of Israeli army casualties and Palestinian civilian deaths.  (read more)

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Immigration continues to be a hot topic in the U.S., including in non-border states like Pennsylvania.
Friday, Gov. Tom Corbett addressed the issue and how it affects Pennsylvania, saying health is a major concern.
“We feel for these children that they are fleeing their countries,” Corbett said. “We want to make sure they are taken care of and returned to their countries. But we also are concerned about their health and what they may cause as far as health issues in the state of Pennsylvania”. (more…)

COLORADO – Officials with Human Services in Denver are considering applying for a $4 million federal grant to house immigrant children who come to the U.S. alone.
The department is in the process of applying for a three-year federal grant to pay for housing the children.

“The children trying to come to this country without their parents are victims of a humanitarian crisis,” said Mayor Michael Hancock Friday. “In Denver, we care about kids. The work of departments like DHS is how we answer the call to serve.
“In this case, the federal government is trying to place refugee children with family members. And while we have not yet been asked, we recognize that we are likely to have relatives in our community who will want to take in their young family members. (more…)

Using information within the TAGGS system for Health and Human Services we are able to identify the recipients for Grants specifically designated for “Unaccompanied Alien Children”, or UAC’s.

With that data, a few more search tools, some time and a little more research, we are able to identify the locations of facilities throughout the country where the HHS grants are being directed and the UAC’s are being transferred/housed.   There are essentially two broad types:  Residence Care, and Transitional to Foster Care Services.

From the FY 2014 HHS Grants we can identify the communities where direct HHS UAC funds have been sent.    We can identify the specific facility, or the organization supporting the foster care placement.  If you live in, or close to, one of the listed cities below, the UAC’s transfers are already in your community.
It should be noted that where possible we have tried to find out the number of children within the agency unit.   For some it was easy, some were listed on the grants, for others it was not possible.   Some are housed in Juvenile detention camps; some are in hospitals with specifically designated beds and dorms.  A large percentage are/were in transitional housing during placement to foster families, and some appear to have gone directly to foster families as the transition to their permanent family takes place.
We have also included the exact amount of the HHS grant for two reasons.   Number one, so that you can see how much this is costing you, the taxpayer.   However, there is a more valuable secondary reason.   We have identified (through extensive research) that each UAC, each individual, is estimated/evaluated at a HHS cost level of around $40,000 per grant (give or take).   So if you see a grant for $2,325,000 you can divide by $40k and find out that’s about 58 (people) UAC’s in that facility or process for the quarter (3 month period), or time they are being transitioned/processed in that facility or organization. Two weeks have passed since I first asked about a dozen people to direct me to pictures of Unaccompanied Minor Children actually crossing the border.   So far not a single person at/near the border has EVER seen a minor child alone – Not ONE.

(Via Daily Caller) New data shows the White House has painted a false picture of the Central American migration by hiding a huge spike in “family units” who are illegally crossing the Texas border.
The data, which was dumped by the U.S. border patrol late Friday afternoon, shows that inflow of youths and children traveling without parents has doubled since 2013, to 57,525 in the nine months up to July 2014. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – The Obama administration, in July 2013, quietly introduced a new regulation that critics say will dramatically increase Washington’s power over local zoning laws in every city and town that accepts federal block grants through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

And it’s the federal grants that could be used as a hook in the nose of these cities, forcing them to house illegal immigrants against their will.
Some are calling it the “Common Core of local zoning” that has flown under the radar for nearly a year. Instead of the U.S. Department of Education dictating education standards to local school districts, this rule change would allow HUD to influence zoning laws from the biggest cities down to the tiniest towns. First, it shows that the following seven GOP senators gave a total of $160,000 to Thad Cochran’s super PAC:

Second, it shows that the PAC then gave a similar amount to a liberal group to run racial attacks against Chris McDaniel.
These Decepticon senators fully funded ads that urged Democrats to “cross over and vote in the republican primary” and claimed that a McDaniel win would be a loss “for race relationships between blacks and whites.” (more…)

Prince William County, Virginia has become well-known in recent years for its tough stance on illegal immigration. So you can imagine how upset some local lawmakers were when they learned that the federal government had contracted to house illegal alien children in their county without informing any county officials.

If your children are old enough to be in college, they probably think the country they were born into is falling apart.  If you’re a Baby Boomer like myself, you know the country you were born into is already gone.  It’s a hard thing to thwart the general feeling of optimism shared by most Americans during a beautiful summer season.  But, if you stop and take a thoughtful assessment of the disasters currently befalling our world, perhaps you’ll see that the fall might be closer than you think.

(Townhall)…Germany in 2008 enthusiastically hosted candidate Barack Obama for his so-called “Victory Column” speech. Now, Germans suddenly sound as if they are near-enemies of the U.S. Chancellor Angela Merkel reportedly was furious that her cell phone was tapped by American intelligence agents. She just kicked the top CIA official out of Germany, further enraged that the U.S. had recruited at least one German official to provide intelligence on the German government. Polls show that Germans find Vladimir Putin’s Russian tyranny almost as popular as Barack Obama’s America.
Japan is becoming similarly frustrated with the U.S. It is rearming like crazy to confront an aggressive China. Both Asian powers apparently assume that Obama won’t guarantee the security of the Japanese as America had in the past. (more…)
