After some mixed considerations about attending this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference, CPAC, President Trump is apparently going to speak to the audience on Sunday February 28th.  Without a doubt this will be one of the most anticipated speeches of this year….

(Fox News) Former President Trump will make his first major public appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) conference later this month, Fox News has learned.

Traditionally held outside of Washington, D.C., the 2021 CPAC conference will kick off in Orlando, Fla., on Thursday.  Trump will be talking about the future of the Republican Party and the conservative movement. Also, look for the 45th president to take on President Biden’s “disastrous amnesty and border policies,” according to a source familiar with Trump’s speech.

Trump has stayed relatively quiet since leaving the White House on Jan. 20 for his Mar-a-lago resort in Florida and after Twitter banned him from the social media platform after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.  But Trump has indicated he wants to stay politically active and told his supporters after his impeachment acquittal the MAGA movement is still going strong. A very interesting article from Politico notes that President Trump is positioning himself to screen candidates for 2022 who support the MAGA initiatives.  This would essentially be considered a hostile move by the professional republican elites.

As we previously mentioned, no republican is going to win any nomination, primary or general election without the MAGA endorsement of President Donald J Trump.   This is the leverage that begins the “Big Ugly”, the destruction of the DeceptiCon wing of the UniParty bird.

POLITICO – […] According to three people familiar with the planning, Trump will soon begin vetting candidates at Mar-a-Lago who are eager to fulfill his promise to exact vengeance upon incumbent Republicans who’ve scorned him, and to ensure every open GOP seat in the 2022 midterms has a MAGA-approved contender vying for it.

Trump already has received dozens of requests from prospective candidates seeking to introduce themselves and nab his endorsement, and formal meetings with them could begin as early as March. Now that Trump has survived his second Senate impeachment trial, he has shifted his focus to post-presidential activism — a venture mostly bankrolled by his new leadership PAC, Save America, which had $31 million in its coffers at the start of this month. We need to awaken to the reality that we are not a majority. We are not a vocal minority with the same rights as the majority. We are now dissidents. We do not have the same voice as our ever-strengthening oppressors, and we do not have the same rights that they enjoy.

For those who might argue that there more of us, or at least as many of us, who believe in individual liberty and free market capitalism than there are opponents to same, I would suggest that you should not confuse a simple head count with total political atomic mass. The positions within society that our opponents hold and the institutions and machinery they control gives them leverage beyond simple membership numbers.

As to our being cast in the role of dissidents, we have no choice. How we conduct ourselves in that role will be the difference between having a chance over the long term to ultimately prevail or having to spend a century or more under the totalitarian’s thumb. We need to understand the role we are in, the most effective course of action we can take, and above all, we must understand and accept our limitations. In this podcast, at the 24:00 minute mark, Lara Trump hints that President Trump will again run for the presidency in 2024: “People are going to come out in full force if he runs again in 2024; which, stay tuned, I think he may.”   WATCH:

Strategically, I hope President Trump does run again – even if he doesn’t want to – for two reasons: (1) Because President Trump will plow the field and destroy the GOPe nominee, likely Nikki Haley; and (2) because even if 45 does not really want the nomination, his participation, and subsequent endorsement, will determine the winner.

That approach would essentially be President Trump running again just to crush the beltway and then select the nominee within the field that will be the future of MAGA.

One point on the media overall.  The far-left is addicted to Trump. Their ratings are collapsing because they have no other topic to fill their cup.   Democrats cannot quit Trump…. They are addicted to him. Without Trump, Democrats have no identity.

Over the past several weeks the tech team behind CTH 2.0 has been working on a test site to optimize the battle-tank known as The Last Refuge.  This is phase-3 of the CTH anti-fragile system, know as the optimization phase.

The goal of optimization is to take the decades-old weight of our site, lighten the server load, increase the response time and simultaneously generate a site that optimizes based on the type of hardware being used by reader: desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.

When CTH originally launched over a decade ago the theme was responsive to desktop and laptop computer users.  Mobile platforms were in their infancy.  Now more than half of website users are coming to sites from tablets or phones.  The optimization phase will make those user experiences easier and more responsive.

The landing page of CTH will not change too much (example image on left). However, each of the top links “About Us”, “guidelines” etc will generate a different impression for the user.  The right margin will be streamlined on the Main landing page, and we will be introducing an alliance of allies to replace the old-school blogroll.

Most of the decisions for the layout, font and navigability have been worked out; and now the coding is underway to generate the final product.  Once that is established we will run it through the paces on the test site before switching over; much like the process we used when we switched from WordPress/Automattic to our own server network.

Several website operators have reached out asking us to provide details on the infrastructure being used to stay “anti-fragile”, meaning outside the reach of big tech.  There may come a day when that information is possible to share, but it will not be in the near future.  CTH is operating with an abundance of caution in the era of deplatforming and targeting.

Without doubt the always positioning, conniving, scheming and politically smarmy Decepticon, Nikki Haley, is planning to use the GOPe apparatus in her effort to become the republican nominee in 2024.  This is as certain as the sunrise tomorrow.

However, that said, Haley is now a fully exposed DeceptiCon; except -of course- in the eyes of the most entrenched of the professional political class.   [NOTE – CTH archives are of value when researching Nikki Haley on these issues.]

This brief excerpt from POLITICO today highlights that President Trump is now well aware of Haley’s motives and elitist intents.  As the BIG UGLY unfolds, there will be many left to wither.  Nikki shall be one of many.

A hot-button topic now has some interesting polling data from Gallup [pdf result here]. The poll shows that more Americans want a third party option than ever before in the two-decades of polling. Given the very visible exposure of the UniParty, two wings of the same vulture club in Washington DC, this does not come as a surprise.

Gallup – […] Independents are usually much more likely than Republicans or Democrats to favor a third political party, but in the current poll, Republicans are nearly as likely as independents to hold this view, 63% to 70%. That represents a dramatic shift for Republicans since last September when 40% favored a third party.

Republicans’ current level of support for a third party is also the highest Gallup has measured for Republicans or Democrats in Gallup’s trend. The previous high was 54% for Democrats in 2018. Currently, 46% of Democrats endorse a third party, down from 52% in September. (read more)

Obviously there is a lot to contemplate on this issue.  However, one of the key points to the formation of a third party is a cleansing of the state-by-state political apparatus.
