We warned….

SYRIA – Members of the Free Syrian Army reportedly attacked the Christian-dominated al-Duvair village in Reef on the outskirts of Homs on Monday, where they massacred its citizens, including women and children, before the Syrian Army interfered.

This reported attack comes shortly after intense fighting in the city of al-Qusseir over the weekend, in which Bashar Al-Assad’s forces inflicted heavy casualties on the rebels.

Assad’s forces launched an offensive in April in an effort to cut off supply lines to the rebels by taking the city and its surrounding areas from the rebel groups that had been entrenched there since last year. Two weeks ago, the Syrian forces reached the center of the city

While the sources describing Monday’s massacre are supportive of Assad, it’s possible that it occurred since the rebel groups fighting the Assad regime are composed mainly of members of al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda affiliated groups and have committed war crimes and atrocities in the past. (more…)

The French authorities are dealing what they feel may be a “copy cat” attack against one of their active duty military members on “anti-terrorism” patrol in a crowded Paris street on Saturday.  The soldier was attacked from behind with a box-cutter – the same tool used in the 9-11 hijackings that brought down the World Trade Center.  While the US media remains silent, the UK’s Daily Mail helpfully reports:

A uniformed French soldier on anti-terrorist duties in Paris had his throat cut by a knife-wielding man tonight.

The savage attack follows the murder of a British soldier by two men using weapons including knives and a meat cleaver. One of the suspects said they were acting in the name of Islam.

Today there were fears that the Paris attack was a copy-cat crime and that a radical Muslim might once more be responsible.

Police in the French capital described the attacker as a being ‘bearded, of North African origin and wearing a light coloured jihab’ under a jacket.

Last month we brought you the story of John Heinz Kerry’s new strategy for diplomacy.  {It was part of our “stuck on stupid” series}  In essence Ketchup Boy’s primary strategy is to put Western Businesses in the Middle East, subsidize their efforts, and hope that the jihadists will take off their suicide vests in favor of picking up a spatula (taking a job).  

At the time Kerry said:

“[W]e’re not going to solve this challenge of terror and of extremism and of people finding an alternative if we’re not reaching out to people, talking to them, bringing them to the table and trying to work through major, perceived differences,”

[…]  “I believe we have to create a new paradigm, frankly, to deal with this.”

[…]  He repeated that the new paradigm combines economic diplomacy with “significant diplomatic outreach.”

I was wondering when someone was going to pick up on this aspect of President Obama’s speech at National Defense University last Thursday.    POTUS was calling for “increased oversight” over drone use.   HIS drone use.

Glad to see the words and intent of the President did not escape at least one reporter, Brit Hume:

Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume thinks it is very peculiar for President Barack Obama to call for executive power to be scaled back.

Hume noted on Fox News Sunday that Obama had “made generous use of” drone strikes.

“There’s an odd quality to this whole thing, and it is almost like he’s saying, with regard to the drone policy, ‘We need something to stop me before I kill again,’” he explained. “We can see that in his support on an unrelated matter on the shield law for journalists. He’s carried out these oversteps in pursuing journalists who are doing their job, and now he says ‘we need a shield law,’ as if to say we need a law to protect them from us.”

Cultural Marxism is modern political correctness on steroids:

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.“ 

The recent terrorist attack in London, England, not unlike the Fort Hood shooting, highlight the insufferable refusal of the delusional, illogical, minority – liberals – to accept what confronts them:   Traditional Islamists bent on killing non-Muslims.

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, says the recent beheading of the U.K. Soldier in the street outside the army base is merely a “betrayal of Islam”.    No, that is simply trying to pick up the turd by the clean end.   (more…)

(Via The Hill)  The Obama administration plans to restart transfers of detainees out of Guantánamo Bay as part of President Obama’s efforts to close the prison, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The president is planning to lift the restrictions on sending detainees to Yemen in the coming weeks, the Journal reports, citing unidentified U.S. officials. (more…)

ORLANDO FLORIDA – Deceased Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev participated in a 2011 gruesome triple homicide outside Boston along with a Chechen killed early Wednesday during a confrontation with the FBI and Massachusetts State Police in Orlando, Florida, a federal law enforcement official told CNN.

Ibragim Todashev, who died during the interview with authorities, not only confessed to his direct role in slashing the throats of three people in Waltham, Massachusetts, but also fingered Tsarnaev in the deaths, the official said Wednesday. (more…)

Aside from the obvious, there’s a seriously disturbing creepy factor of people milling around watching for 20 minutes (til police arrived) after the two Muslim men chopped off the soldiers head in the middle of the street while screaming “Allahu Ackbar“.

‘We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you’:

“In our lands women have to see this every day… you people will never be safe.”

“The only reasons we killed this man this is because Muslims are dying daily. This British soldier is an eye for an eye a tooth for tooth”…
