Ferguson Civilian Review Board Proposal Meeting Results in Chaos – F*ck The Police (FTP) Crowd Breaks Out In Violent Confrontation… (video)

You just can’t make this stuff up. An initial meeting to discuss the possibility of a citizen review board had to be cancelled because the Ferguson “FTP” protestors break out in a violent chamber rampage… Massive Irony = The police had to be called to restore order.
ST. LOUIS • An open meeting at City Hall on the creation of a civilian oversight board of the police department devolved into a melee on Wednesday night, further exposing the city’s deep divisions over race and law enforcement.

The meeting held by the aldermanic public safety committee, designed to seek public comment, lasted over an hour with little event as residents ticked off the pros and cons of having a civilian board to review police conduct and procedures.
But the crowd became unsettled when police officers began testifying in opposition to the bill. At times, Alderman Terry Kennedy, who chairs the committee, struggled to keep order. The noise in the room spiked as police officers attempted to testify. (more…)

Charles Blow Left Out Race of Officer In His Race-Centered Diatribe About Son Being Stopped By Campus Police…

Charles Blow is a racial antagonist, it’s what he does – it’s all he does. He wrote at length about how angry he was because his son was detained by a Yale Campus Police Officer – #BlackLivesMatter and #FTP in full swing. However, what he didn’t say was that the Campus officer was black, and/or that the Campus police Chief is also black.
Guess that doesn’t support his narrative….
charles blow(VIA WASHINGTON EXAMINER) On Saturday, Blow wrote on Twitter that he was “fuming” over a call he received from his son, a third-year student at Yale. He wrote that his son was “accosted” and held up at gunpoint by a Yale policeman because he fit the description of a suspect. Blow’s son, Tahj Blow, is an ecology and evolutionary biology major, according to the Yale Daily News.
In follow-up tweets related to the incident, Blow said, “This is exactly why I have no patience for people trying to convince me that the fear these young black men feel isn’t real.” He also tweeted the phrases “I can’t breathe” and “Black lives matter,” both of which are associated with two unarmed black men killed by white police officers in separate incidents in Missouri and New York. Oklahoma Shooting – Body Camera Video Shows Officer Shooting Suspect….

Police have a tough job. However, like all professions there are good police officers and bad police officers. Unfortunately, when you encounter a bad police officer the disparity of power over your liberty is beyond that found in any other person-to-person engagement.  Therefore a higher standard of conduct is both expected and required.
Between the terms “legally justifiable” and “reasonable under the circumstances” there is a razor thin dividing line where police officers can, at times, walk tenuously on either side – depending on their own dispositions. This recent shooting is one such example.
Depending on your own individual perspectives and experiences you can view this video as “justifiable” and/or “excessive”, and perhaps even both.

Jessica Lane Chambers – Day #49 Murder Case Update – ATF Increases Reward To $53,000

On Thursday evening, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms put out a release announcing the addition of $10,000 to the $43,000 currently offered. That includes money from U.S. Marshals Service, FBI, Mississippi State Fire Marshal’s Office, CrimeStoppers, and private donations.

“We all have a vested interest in arresting and bringing to justice the person(s) responsible for this heinous crime,” said ATF Special Agent in Charge Phillip Durham. “Arson is a crime of violence leaving physical and emotional scars that last a lifetime. Only those victims who have survived understand the sheer terror of being attacked by fire. Unfortunately, Jessica Chambers’ life was cut short, as she did not survive.” (link)

jessica chambers selfieJessica Chamber’s car was doused from bumper to bumper with an accelerant, presumably gasoline.  Volunteer Fire Chief Cole Haley incident report notes upon arrival (8:13pm) “the car was engulfed in flame”.
Non-typical disposition – Upon inspection three vehicle tires were completely burned away, one was barely present.  Historical investigative presentations indicate during a “typical car fire”, the tires, along with the vehicle undercarriage, are the final elements to fully ignite.
The current pattern strongly suggests each wheel was doused, in addition to the exterior sheet metal, as gasoline was poured lengthwise around the circumference of the car.
Accepting the burn pattern as an indication of intent, the killers/arsonists appear to have wanted to torch every inch of the car, inside and out – and not just the victim herself. (more…)

The Safari Principle As Official Policy – "Tactical Retreat" or "Empowering The Criminal" – The Ferguson Aftermath…

“He shouldn’t have gotten out of the car”, a phrase heard consistently in both the Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown shootings. In essence the argument being both citizen George Zimmerman and officer Darren Wilson held responsibility for the outcome because they exited their vehicle.
We have discussed this viewpoint as the “Safari Principle“, however now the Ferguson/Saint Louis police department is considering the argument -under the auspices of “tactical retreat”- as a standard policy.
ferguson angerSAINT LOUIS – Like many officers involved in deadly force encounters, Darren Wilson said his training took over when he shot Michael Brown in Ferguson.
But what if Wilson had been trained differently?
The national upheaval from Brown’s death, and some others since, has put enormous pressure on law enforcement to find ways to control people’s behavior while using less violence. One possibility — simple but repugnant to some officers — is to teach police to back away from certain difficult situations until help can arrive.
The concept is known as “tactical retreat” or sometimes “tactical withdrawal” or “tactical restraint.”
“We add the word, ‘tactical’ and not just ‘retreating’ or ‘giving up’ because that’s what makes it palatable for police officers,” explained Seth Stoughton, a criminal law professor at the University of South Carolina. The former Florida officer is a nationally prominent advocate for applying the softer approach. (more…)

UPDATE: E-Mail Reveals The Origin of The Political Ferguson Scheme – State and Federal Officials Conspired To Fire/Pressure Police Chief Jackson…

belmar
The actual email (HatTip Gateway Pundit) from Saint Louis Police Chief Jon Belmar to the conspiring political scheme team adds more sunlight toward their endeavors.  What a slimy crew:
jon belmar email
Some of the behind-the-scene details are quite revealing.  Including Belmar specifically stating the security at Ferguson PD was insufficient considering the “potential protests problems”.  It was this request which was refused by Missouri Governor Nixon.
Additionally, you’ll note the pressure to make Officer Darren Wilson resign or Rep Clay would not be permitted to assist; and concerns of their agenda being exposed with the note “guard against making the presser appear to be anti-Law Enforcement”. (more…)

Mike Brown Family Attorney: "May File Civil Suit Against Officer Darren Wilson and Ferguson Police Dept"…

Obviously many people may find this alarming, however it is entirely predictable.
The entire construct of the “Scheme Team’s” objectives is to file civil (wrongful death) lawsuits. This is their version of justice, albeit financial justice. The filing of wrongful death lawsuits is the entire reason why the Daryl Parks and Benjamin Crump law firm exist, and the entire reason why they were called upon by Mike Brown’s parents, Lesley McSpadden and Mike Brown.
Daryl parks and brown familybenjamin crump
In order for Benjamin Crump, Daryl Parks, and in this case local attorney Anthony Gray, to get the leverage they need for financial judgment they first need to establish a position of implied wrongful death. Ben Crump calls this “first base”, and requires “an arrest” – not a conviction, just an arrest. The arrest establishes the “probable cause” basis for both a criminal trial, and, more importantly, civil litigation.
The “probable cause” is what they need. This is also why in both the Trayvon Martin shooting and the Mike Brown shooting the family asks for an arrest: “all we want is an arrest”. Without a preceding basis for an arrest the hurdles to gain a wrongful death civil reward are much higher. (more…)

Tangled Web Weaving – The Origin of The Political Ferguson Scheme Surfaces – State and Federal Officials Conspired To Fire/Pressure Police Chief Jackson…

Most interested observers will remember October 2014 when CNN headlines were proclaiming Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson as: “expected to step down”.  When immediately asked about the report Jackson said he had “no idea” where this information was coming from, and held no disposition to leave his job.

Now the details begin to surface of private meetings between all the Democrat political officer holders and “officials” who were -unknown to Tom Jackson- trying to leverage Chief Jackson out of his role.  Those people include:

♦ Missouri Senator, Claire McCaskill;  ♦ Missouri State Attorney General Chris Koster;  ♦ Saint Louis Mayor Francis Slay; ♦ the Mayor’s Chief of Staff, Jeff Rainford; ♦ Missouri House speaker John Diehl; ♦ then-St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley;  ♦ U.S. Congressman William Lacy Clay; ♦ and the man they wanted to replace Tom Jackson, St. Louis County police lieutenant, Troy Doyle.
