Today, a second RT anchor quit over her inability to sell the BS any longer.

Trying desperately to take advantage of a media cycle filled with all things Ukrainian – John Podesta smooth’s White House agenda under the radar…..  What the administration is trying to do is keep an electorate from feeling the consequences of Obamacare and trying to retain power despite it…. 

(Washington Examiner) – The Obama administration announced Wednesday that it would allow insurers to keep until October 2016 health plans that do not meet Obamacare regulations, pushing back another Affordable Care Act deadline well past November’s midterms.

Facing the prospect of another wave of cancellation notices this fall, the administration took even further action to mitigate the blowback from President Obama’s broken promise that all Americans could keep their health care plans under Obamacare.

The Department of Health and Human Services had already given insurers the option of continuing those plans facing cancellation through 2014, and on Wednesday said those policies could remain in effect an additional two years. (more…)

WASHINGTON — A congressional hearing into the furor over political targeting by the Internal Revenue Service descended into political theater of the absurd Wednesday, as the former IRS official at the heart of the case again asserted her Fifth Amendment rights and refused to answer questions.

Lois Lerner, the former director of Tax-Exempt Organizations for the IRS, led the division that oversaw the staffers responsible for making sure that so-called social welfare groups were not going out of bounds with their political activities. (more…)

Cop Killer Apologist, Debo Adegbile’s nomination defeated.  Dear leader calls vote results “travesty”…

WASHINGTON DC – Seven Senate Democrats joined Republicans to block President Barack Obama’s pick of Debo P. Adegbile to lead the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division amid a controversy over his legal defense of convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Adegbile’s nomination needed a simple majority to cut off debate but the chamber voted 47-52 against him.

Democrats Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Chris Coons of Delaware, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Mark Pryor of Arkansas and John Walsh of Montana all voted no. Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., also voted no in order to preserve his right to reconsider the vote. If Adegbile had mustered just two more votes plus Reid, Vice President Joseph Biden was on hand to cast a possible tie-breaking vote.  (read more)

There is a storm cloud looming on the horizon – Shades Of Waco TX.

( Via BLAZE )Now that tens of thousands of gun owners in Connecticut are in direct violation of a hastily-passed gun control law, a video of a fed-up Navy veteran warning lawmakers that he “will not comply” with the law is just going viral.

As previously reported by TheBlaze, as many as 100,000 gun owners technically became felons overnight because they chose not to register their semi-automatic rifles and/or high-capacity magazines.

A man, identified as John S. Cinque, reportedly appeared at a public meeting in North Haven, Conn., on April 22, 2013, to confront lawmakers over the gun control law.

Cinque started by asking if the bill would have done anything to prevent the tragic Sandy Hook shooting. Eventually, Connecticut State Rep. David Yaccarino (R) replied, “maybe not.”  (read more)

WASHINGTON – Seattle police say the 17-year-old suspect in the shooting death of a man in the Greenwood neighborhood has been taken into custody.

Police say the teen was getting ready to board a plane at SeaTac airport. He was taken into custody by the Port of Seattle police.

From what can be determined this event took place in the city of Kharkov close to the border with Russia. The crowd was generally pro-Russia and the Red ribbons and armbands signify a pro-putin, pro-communist, pro-Russia sensibility.

The young men coming from the building were Ukrainian Nationalists, or of the same ideological sympathy as the revolutionary crowds.  The ethnic divisions seem to exacerbate the issues being faced.

The video, while brutal, reflects how stark the ideological differences are within the Ukrainian people. (more…)

(Via UK Telegraph) A TV presenter working for a Kremlin-funded channel who spoke out against Russia’s military invasion in Ukraine live on air has been sent by the broadcaster to Crimea to “better her knowledge” of the situation.

In an off-message tirade, Abby Martin, a Washington-based American news anchor for Russia Today, shocked mostly pro-Russian viewers by announcing she “cannot stress enough” how strongly she felt about presence of its troops in Crimea, saying “Russia was wrong”.

President Obama is not releasing a budget proposal as a matter of fiscal responsibility or genuine spending priority.

He’s proposing a fiscal budget with an eye on creating political levers for an upcoming mid-term election cycle.

Never before has any president used the serious issue of a budget presentation merely to generate political divisions.  

Facing a looming thunderclap of defeat, he’s trying to stir his base – and using his budget to do so….

WASHINGTON DC – President Barack Obama’s $3.901 trillion budget would raise taxes on the rich, expand tax credits for the poor and middle class — though as of now, it merely serves as a White House wish list.

Although very little of it is expected to become law — or even be seriously considered via legislation on Capitol Hill — the president’s budget still serves as a benchmark for congressional Democrats.

It seeks $651 billion in new revenue from the rich, would formalize in the tax code a rule named for billionaire investor — and Obama supporter — Warren Buffett, cuts the size and pay of the military, and expands or creates a series of social programs the president has long touted. (more…)

Why?  That’s the primary question.   The Senate has already announced they will not construct a budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2015.  The Senate has already announced their intent to operate under Continuing Resolutions.
