It is well known and accepted in international circles that President Obama’s BFF is President Recep Erdogan of Turkey.
It is also reasonably accepted that Erdogan is a Sunni Islamist and power thirsty Marxist who views his job to resurrect the ottoman empire.
Those of you who have followed our research into the psyche and ideology of Erdogan might be interested in the newly finished palace he built for himself.
At a cost of over $500,000,000.00 (£384,000,000.00) and boasting 1,000 rooms covering a total floor area of 3.1 million square feet, the palace is four times the size of Versailles, allowing Mr Erdogan to exceed the residential grandeur of Louis XIV, the “Sun King” of France.

Inside the palace, a majestic hallway leads up to a sweeping staircase. The quixotic architectural style seems to cross the Ottoman and Seljuk traditions with that of a modern Chinese railway station.  (see more pics and details)

Ann Coulter opines about the election […]  Don’t you wish all these new Republicans were joining Republican senators Richard Lugar, Mike Castle and whatever Republican was running against Todd Akin? How about Rob Simmons in Connecticut, who would be the senator from Connecticut if self-serving GOP consultants hadn’t gone for the money-bags, unelectable candidate instead?
Without tea party challenges and greedy Republican consultants, Republicans would be looking at 59 senate seats in the next Congress. Maybe 61 with Democrat flips.

– Today seems a fitting day to review this again –

One of the frustrating realities of our polarized time is the media creating a skewed and left leaning view of all things political. However, even with this headwind, each day many more people choose to engage in an honest discovery and understanding of what’s going on. Whether because they stumble upon a concern, or whether they happen across some information that makes them rethink their prior position and views, it can lead to an engagement with us from a perspective of their only reality view having been determined by the lens of the media.
Indeed that can be, and often is, an incredibly frustrating conversation because the newly awakened bring an embedded and sometimes flawed bias into their narrative. One of the more common misunderstandings stems from the media hatred of George W Bush and his actions, aptly called Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS).
What I want to do here is not change anyone’s mind, but rather to remind people what led to some of Dubya’s decisions in his own words.
I must first emphasize at the time of Dubya’s tenure in the White House I was not a supporter of many “Bush policies”, however, I did understand his reasoning.
Sometimes research into “why” was needed in order for us to understand this reasoning, but there were valid reasons nonetheless. It is unfair for the liberal media, or for any Johnny-come-lately to re-write his motivation as illicit, it was not. In hindsight some of his policies and approaches may have been wrong, but it generally is unfair to look in the rear view mirror to judge. Does he meet with Democrat party leadership?  – NO.   Does he meet with legislative experts? – NO.  Does he meet with people who can aid him in resetting a national priority agenda? – NO.  Does he meet with people to discuss unifying an electorate? – NO. Instead:

All of this, ALL OF THIS, is to avoid sunlight upon the reality it was the DOJ who initiated the targeting scheme, and used the IRS to get it done.  In addition the White House fully knew what Eric Holder was doing.

(Via Judicial Watch)  – Judicial Watch announced today that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) admitted to the court that it failed to search any of the IRS standard computer systems for the “missing” emails of Lois Lerner and other IRS officials.

The admission appears in an IRS legal brief opposing the Judicial Watch request that a federal court judge allow discovery into how “lost and/or destroyed” IRS records relating to the targeting of conservative groups may be retrieved.
The IRS is fighting Judicial Watch’s efforts to force testimony and document production about the IRS’ loss of records in Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) litigation about the IRS targeting of Tea Party and other opponents of President Obama(Judicial Watch v. IRS (No. 1:13-cv-1559)).  The lawsuit is before U.S. District Court Judge Emmett G. Sullivan. (more…)

It was called “a key Senate race”. Millions and millions of dollars were spent. It was the one Senate race where the Tea party candidate campaigned boldly against the Democrat opponent.  Two of the biggest named Democrats campaigned for the Democrat Senate Candidate:

Two of the biggest Democrat names in the entire country called this their home state. It is the home state of the former beloved President of all things progressive and wonderful. The race was supposed to be tight, but the Democrats had all the advantages.
The Republican candidate wasn’t just a pesky Republican;  The media proclaimed he’s the most conservative of the Republican candidates. His positions were supposed to be the most far away from the electorate in this home state of the most wonderful of all Democrats. The conservative was the most right-wing nutted right wing nut of the entire field, “an extremist” – or so “they” said.
So what was the result in this race where the right-wing nut was against the Democrat light bringer? (more…)

On the night he was “captured” there were many, well, observations that just didn’t align with the previous narrative as delivered.  Frein was clean shaven, well kept, and did not appear to present post-capture in a manner consistent with media reports. 
During an earlier and generally ignored FBI interview (with a few professional trackers) the quiet opinion was that Eric Frein was “playing a game” with law enforcement.  To that end a few opined that his “appearances” were intentional, and he was staying inside the containment zone purposely to continue the hide-and-seek approach. 
Like Eric Rudolph, who evaded capture for five years, not only did Frein know the region far better than his trackers, he was well prepared -and exceptionally well geared- to spend the winter, if he chose. Now this….
(Via CBS) The former fugitive charged with ambushing a Pennsylvania state police barracks had a laptop computer and used the Internet while evading hundreds of law enforcement officials, according to court documents released Tuesday.
State police found the laptop and two storage drives inside an abandoned airplane hangar near the spot where Eric Frein was captured Thursday night, according to a search warrant inventory. Frein told authorities he used unprotected Wi-Fi hotspots to connect to the Internet during his 48-day flight, documents said, raising the possibility he knew where police were focusing their search efforts each day.
