Ann Coulter opines about the election […] Don’t you wish all these new Republicans were joining Republican senators Richard Lugar, Mike Castle and whatever Republican was running against Todd Akin? How about Rob Simmons in Connecticut, who would be the senator from Connecticut if self-serving GOP consultants hadn’t gone for the money-bags, unelectable candidate instead?
Without tea party challenges and greedy Republican consultants, Republicans would be looking at 59 senate seats in the next Congress. Maybe 61 with Democrat flips.
One more wave election and it wouldn’t matter who the president is.
And what if the money and energy wasted this year saving incumbent senators Mitch McConnell, Thad Cochran and Pat Roberts from tea party challenges had been spent on senate elections in New Hampshire, Virginia or Minnesota? These guys weren’t Arlen Specter! They weren’t even John McCain or Marco Rubio. (read more) Mitt-life crisis
No Ann, no we don’t miss Dick Lugar, or Mike Castle who voted for Obama’s Porkulous 2.0 spending bill in December 2010. No, we don’t miss them one bit – you insufferable dingbat! (apologies to dingbats granted)
What effen’ difference would exist between Mike Castle and Claire McCaskill? none.
However, interestingly one might say she is a one issue advocate/defender against all things amnesty, yet notice how the queen of all things magnanimous and intellectually superior avoids mentioning Lindsey Graham?
That would be Senator Lindsey Graham who yesterday -less than 24 hours after lying YET AGAIN to get elected- has already called President Obama and proclaimed his willingness to go full batshit RINO and provide “comprehensive immigration reform”.
There is a real problem on the conservative media side of the political spectrum. We have annoying gnats like Coulter, Beck and others that need to be dispatched to the land of crustless cucumber and mayonnaise sandwiches along with their white wine spritzers.
As long as these idiots exist in the public forums, and represent a visible image of intellectual Republicanism, they provide cover for the Mitch McConnell’s of the world to define common sense conservatives as extreme – while the decepticons blend right in with the Democrat elite holding the same uppity perspectives….
