A long-standing Wisconsin reporter in the Milwaukee area, Meg Kissinger, was covering a campaign event featuring Michelle Obama giving a speech on behalf of Democrat Candidate Mary Burke.
Michelle is filling in for President Obama on the Wisconsin stump because President Obama is too toxic to be seen assisting a candidate.  POTUS would not help.
The goal for Dems in Wisconsin is to defeat Conservative Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.
The White House officials and candidate reps told the reporters they were NOT permitted to talk to the crowd at the event:

“Never seen anything like it in 35 years as a reporter covering dozens of political events,” she added on Facebook. “White House and Burke aides telling reporters we were not allowed to talk to the people on the other side of the rope. But that’s what reporters do: we talk to people. In America, that’s our job.”

Chris Brooks was arrested in 2013 for drug possession and dealing. It was the arrest leading to the commendation given to Darren Wilson. Chris Brooks, and his attorney, are hopeful Darren Wilson will be unable to testify in his case – ergo acquittal.
What better way to gain acquittal than to tie up the primary witness against you. *ahem* DUH *ahem* And the STL Asst. prosecutor, too chicken sh!t to identify himself, has chattering teeth filled with PC angst, so he has to go out of his way to allow the circus to avoid the illusion of impropriety…
After all, these Ferguson protestors see Burning Crosses in the reflection of the sunrise on the Teddy Bear memorial. Not exactly the most acute or sensible amid the grievance class in the Missouri electorate, gnome sayin’?
CLAYTON, Mo. — A county judge on Monday approved a request by prosecutors to let a grand jury review a 2013 drug case in which an arresting officer was the suburban St. Louis police officer who fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown last month.
An attorney for Christopher Brooks alleges Ferguson officer Darren Wilson “roughed up” his client after he refused to hand over the keys to a locked car parked in his grandmother’s driveway, where police say they found drug paraphernalia and several ounces of pot.
“Wilson is compromised as a witness,” said defense attorney Nick Zotos, who opposed the request by Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch’s office to shift the drug case to a panel that meets behind closed doors. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, Maryland Democrat, said Monday that he doesn’t believe lawmakers should cut their six-week break short to vote on authorizing military strikes in Syria.
“I think that the fact is that this matter will be considered in the lame-duck. Whether it will be passed in the lame-duck, I don’t know,” Mr. Hoyer said at a National Press Club event in D.C. “I do not believe it’s necessary nor do I think it’ll happen that we’ll come back before the lame duck, but it is my expectation we will start debate give the circumstances that exist today. […]
Many lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have said lawmakers need to return before then to vote to give the president authorization to strike the Islamic State in Syria. Speaker John A. Boehner said Sunday that he would consider bringing lawmakers back to D.C. early if President Obama asked him to. (read more)

Just like the fictional Unaccompanied Alien Children ruse the White House created to sell a comprehensive immigration reform strategy, so too is the Khorosan group a purely fictional political construct designed to avoid ideological embarrassment.

In a recent column for NRO McCarthy explains how the White House had come up with the “Khorosan” al-Qaeda group as nothing more than a political ploy to avoid being ridiculed for their inept and detached prior espousals. For six years, President Obama has endeavored to will the country into accepting two pillars of his alternative national-security reality. First, he claims to have dealt decisively with the terrorist threat, rendering it a disparate series of ragtag jayvees. Second, he asserts that the threat is unrelated to Islam, which is innately peaceful, moderate, and opposed to the wanton “violent extremists” who purport to act in its name.
Now, the president has been compelled to act against a jihad that has neither ended nor been “decimated.” The jihad, in fact, has inevitably intensified under his counterfactual worldview, which holds that empowering Islamic supremacists is the path to security and stability. Yet even as war intensifies in Iraq and Syria — even as jihadists continue advancing, continue killing and capturing hapless opposition forces on the ground despite Obama’s futile air raids — the president won’t let go of the charade.
Hence, Obama gives us the Khorosan Group.

Yah’Keem Yisrael converted to Islam in 2011 yet the media continue to say “recent convert”.  Four years does not a “recent convert” make…  He was photographed inside the Islamic Mosque in Oklahoma City last month (August 7th)

(Via Truth Revolt) On Friday morning, police in Moore, Oklahoma released the identity of the suspect in the brutal beheading of a woman at her workplace: Alton Nolen, who now goes by Jah’Keem Yisrael. Nolen is a convert to Islam, and local press reports that he had attempted to convert other employees at Vaughan Foods, where the murder took place.
Yisrael is a graduate of Idabel High School in nearby Idabel, Oklahoma, about four hours southeast from Moore where the attack occurred. Nolen was a football player and, by available accounts, not a religious person at the time. A teammate, speaking to Truth Revolt, describes him as “normal” and “a good football player, but not great.”
Local newspaper McCurtain Gazette reports (no online edition is available):

A classmate of Nolen’s, who didn’t wish to be identified, told this newspaper that he spoke to a close family member of Nolen’s today.
He told this newspaper that according to the family member, Nolen was telling coworkers Thursday of an Islamic teaching that said women should be stoned for an offense, and that an argument followed the mark, Nolen was later fired and returned later Thursday, when he beheaded Colleen Hufford, the family member said.

One former resident recalls exclusively for Truth Revolt that only one Muslim family was living in Idabel at the time. The source says the family “owned and operated a pizza shop and started the local soccer league.” (more…)

Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron does an effective job describing the danger of “extremism“, not just “violent extremism“, all extremism. (Cameron Speech Here)
However, anyone interested in actually following, researching and analyzing international action against radical Islamist extremism, must also note that Egypt’s President Fatah El-Sisi is about two years ahead in confronting the extremist ideology.

Almost everything both Obama and Cameron have stated in the past month can be viewed curiously against their unwillingness to hold such public views while El-Sisi was pushing back against extremism, and doing something about it.

Hatred is an outcome of evil manifested.   Readers and visitors to the Treehouse community know full well we have watched Egypt intently. We continue to share that no international leader has done more to confront ALL the tentacles of radicalism than Fattah El-Sisi.
Yet he has also been the recipient of marginalization – at best, from both Obama and Cameron; and significant western political admonishment.   Through the past two years Sisi has consistently carried out a challenging mission to provide secular stability not only to Egypt, but as a direct consequence, also to the entire region. WASHINGTON DC – The host of NBC’s Meet the Press considers resigning attorney general Eric Holder — who once proudly declared himself an “activist attorney general,” called America a “nation of cowards” about race and took heat from his own White House for pursuing politically sensitive initiatives – ”a very non-political person.”

“He did a lot of the tough stuff that you would say, ‘Hey, the attorney general has to do tough stuff, this is not a forgiving job, you have to do tough stuff,’” Chuck Todd told MSNBC’s Tamron Hall on Thursday. “But, what’s interesting about him, he is a very non-political person. And I think people used to mistakenly think that this guy was this long-time political operative who happened to be an attorney general. That’s not him at all.”
