(Via TRIBLIVE) The media’s elitists just keep getting you wrong, America.

And this has nothing to do with whether something is or isn’t a “gotcha” question, because that is always the easy excuse for any candidate who is unhappy with a news story.

The root of the problem is how Washington and New York media view Americans and their values beyond the powerful, wealthy and intellectually elite world; it is a much deeper, disturbing and, yes, dangerous problem than the silly questions.

Last week the DC-New York media responded in epic fashion to former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s comment that he didn’t think President Obama “loves” America. They nearly tripped over themselves to ask every potential GOP presidential contender if he agreed with Giuliani; their braying eventually led to mocking Christians. (more…)

I’m not exactly sure why these guys put themselves through this insanity. CNN’s Dana Bash showcases her exceptional bias and puts Jim Jordan through the pretzel logic of modern media punditry….

The SNL “skit” is a takeoff on a mainstream commercial for Toyota Camry. Named “My Bold Dad” the Toyota commercial features a father driving his daughter to the airport so she can join the U.S. Army.

The NBC/SNL parody takes a knock at the military by showcasing an actress who “didn’t graduate High School” as a the NBC view of military enrollees. However, it then goes a step further with the ISIS Jihadist angle.

More concerning than the ridiculous SNL delivery is the thought that more than one person in NBC had to think this was actually a good idea, and approve it.

Sometimes humor can walk a precarious edge, and we are not even remotely the humor police.  In this case, however, the humor is lost – it’s just not funny.  Apparently NBC doesn’t actually recognize that ISIS is holding hostages, real people, including Americans’…. and brutally, currently, visibly, killing them.

Yes, Secretary Kerry actually said that in response to ABC’s Martha Raddatz challenging Kerry on the administration talking points vs. the reality of what is actually taking place in Iraq.

Despite the professional written (not subtle) threat sent by Senators Dianne Feinstein and Dick Durbin [via: “nice place you got there Bibi, be a shame if anything happened to it“… (see below)] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu still plans to speak to a joint session of congress.

Feeling more than a little irked by Netanyahu not cowering to the mighty Senator’s demands – today she called him “arrogant”. (more…)

Chris Wallace had the last two weeks off. He returns today, March 1st, carrying a remarkable reinvigoration for the progressive ideology.  Governor Scott Walker has become the primary roadblock to Rupert Murdoch’s chosen candidate, Jeb Bush.  And Walker just finished 2nd to Rand Paul in the CPAC straw poll….

Toward that end, Walker must be removed; subtly, so as not to openly isolate the audience (revenue stream) for FOX News. [In 2012 Matt Drudge did the same thing for his guy Mitt Romney  – it’s not so subtle when you know the objective and motivation$]

How do you do the bidding of the Murdoch? Simple, you do the same thing the progressive leftists do when trying to remove the impediment to “your guy”.

An alarming report from Kuwait has surfaced which outlines a 2014 Israeli decision to bomb part of the Iranian nuclear facility, and President Obama finding out -through a U.S. State Dept source- about the plan.

According to the report the U.S. administration told the diplomatic couriers the U.S. would challenge any Israeli flight and would shoot down if needed.

The Kuwaiti media report, while using numerous unnamed U.S. sources, holds a great deal of credence if read by anyone who has researched the players and their historical positions within the U.S. as it relates to Obama’s ideology.

Specifically the aspect of Zbigniew Brzezinski who we know holds a tremendous amount of historical sway with President Obama.

Don’t let your jaw drop too far, this fundamental change is not just happening in college application processes.  This exact same methodology is also being applied to Credit Scores for home mortgages and car loans.

(Via LA TIMES) In a windowless classroom at an Arcadia tutoring center, parents crammed into child-sized desks and dug through their pockets and purses for pens as Ann Lee launches a PowerPoint presentation.

Her primer on college admissions begins with the basics: application deadlines, the relative virtues of the SAT versus the ACT and how many Advanced Placement tests to take.

Then she eases into a potentially incendiary topic — one that many counselors like her have learned they cannot avoid.

“Let’s talk about Asians,” she says.

Lee’s next slide shows three columns of numbers from a Princeton University study that tried to measure how race and ethnicity affect admissions by using SAT scores as a benchmark. It uses the term “bonus” to describe how many extra SAT points an applicant’s race is worth. She points to the first column.

African Americans received a “bonus” of 230 points, Lee says. (more…)

Apparently the Pentagon forgot to check with the White House for permission before they coordinated an offensive against ISIS…  This is what happens when the Pentagon doesn’t defer to the White House, and General John Allen remembers the blackmail files being maintained on him.  

(Via Daily Beast) Just days ago, the generals were trumpeting plans to knock ISIS out of its most important stronghold in Iraq. Now, those plans are on indefinite hold.

The U.S. military’s goal to retake Iraq’s second largest city from the self-proclaimed Islamic State has been pushed back several months at least, defense officials told The Daily Beast. That’s a major shift for the Pentagon, which recently announced that the first major ground offensive in the war against ISIS could come in the next few weeks.

Defense officials once hoped that Iraqi troops could move into Mosul by the Spring and reclaim the city from ISIS. Now, those officials say, Fall is more realistic. And even that date was tenuous. (more…)
