Interestingly, today Bob Woodward separates his journalistic integrity from the corrupt bastardization of CNN and Carl Bernstein. Additionally, President Donald Trump thanks Woodward for his intellectual honesty.
BACKGROUND: Four political operatives at CNN (Jake Tapper, Jim Scuitto, Evan Perez and Carl Bernstein), colluded with two highly politicized top level Obama administration intelligence officials, ODNI John Brennan and CIA Director John Brennan, under the auspices of leaks from “anonymous senior intelligence officials” – on the construct of Russian narrative to undermine the incoming presidency of Donald Trump.

After being called onto the carpet, and doused in sunlight for their endeavors, CNN has been rabid in their attempts to obfuscate the construct of the intentional hit job and defend the indefensible.
CNN has spent the better part of every single broadcast for the past six days trying to justify their role in carrying out the synergistic political objectives of the politicized intelligence community and media propaganda. They have failed.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich appeared on CBS Face The Nation to explain the approach of an entrepreneurial executive business approach toward the administration of Trump’s agenda.
Part of the discussion centered around the fractured, and highly politicized, intelligence community. Gingrich eloquently outlines the current approach of using of false intelligence for political benefit to undermine the incoming administration:

Primary passive aggressive interviewer Jake Tapper interviews Senator Rand Paul on CNN State of the Union.
.
Tapper is a toxic media duck with a personal dislike toward the incoming administration, perhaps driven by his previous employment within the Clinton family. No single media personality exemplifies the ‘David Mamet principle’ as Jake Tapper; pretending not to know things in almost every single media interview.

After 18 months of getting the presidential election completely wrong, not a single mainstream media outlet has looked honestly in the mirror, admitted their inherent flaws and committed to any change in approach, management or journalistic personnel. Exactly the opposite, they’ve quadrupled down on the same old – same old.
Consider a media request for access as you would any employment application:

♦ Drug test anyone who requests credentials for the White House press. Conduct background checks, criminal checks and credit checks via a third party security vendor. Dismiss any applicant who does not pass a strict background check.
♦ Keep using twitter and facebook daily, or as determined to send direct messaging to a news-consuming public. Keep using social media, and/or any alternate communications platforms to communicate with the American People.
♦ Establish a strict dress code for credentialed media. No casual days, ever. 100% business professional, 100% of the time. No business casual, ever.

Social, Economic and Climate Just-us Warriors convened the first of four regional forums in Arizona to discuss who will lead the Democrat Party. The top two Justice Warrior (DNC) candidates are representative Keith Ellison and Labor Secretary Tom Perez:
Team Bernie want Ellison – Team Hillary want Perez

When asked to give an example of their qualifications for the post their responses were:
♦ Keith Ellison – […] “There are no statewide Republicans in Minnesota,” said Ellison, who in 2006 became the first Muslim elected to Congress. “And the reason why is because I had turned out the vote and turnout in the 5th Congressional District. I used to have the lowest turnout in the state of Minnesota; now my congressional district has the highest.”
♦ Tom Perez – […] “We need a DNC chair who can take the fight to Donald Trump, who can communicate a very powerful message of economic opportunity and inclusion,” Perez told The Republic. “Who can speak to every stakeholder group in our big tent and who can really implement a 50-state strategy where we’re building, from the bottom up, parties that can field candidates from school board to senator and help us take back statehouses and Congress.” (read more)

The White House Correspondents Association held a closed-door Town Hall event last Thursday to unite behind a singular ideological political narrative.

According to published reports of the event [via CNN ] the Association’s prevailing theme was a rallying call there must be “unity” against the Trump administration.
[…] Mason, a reporter at Reuters, has been emphasizing press corps “unity” in the six months he has been president, and he said that it was a theme of Thursday’s annual meeting.
He said he defined “unity” as “not allowing the divisions of the press corps to be exploited.” (read more)
“Exploited”? Ah yes, the herd mindset must be retained if the echo-chamber is to battle united against a singular ideological adversary, President Donald Trump.

Yesterday representative John Lewis (D-GA) disrespectfully stated President-elect Donald Trump was “not a legitimate president” and he was boycotting the inauguration.
Traditionally Republicans have curled up into a ball and refused to defend themselves against ridiculous attacks from moonbat leftists. However, Donald Trump is not a traditional republican. Today, Donald Trump pushed back:

The media (writ large) and professional political left do not have a familiar frame of reference for what to do next. Ergo, the pearl-clutching ‘how-dare-he’ ism begins… they were counting on Lewis’s race to be a PC shield against any backlash. Once again, Donald Trump proves he doesn’t see race – he sees stupid.

There were many interesting moments in the various senate confirmation hearings this past week. One of the better exchanges comes from Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson and Senator Marco Rubio.
At 06:10 (prompted below), interventionist advocate Senator Rubio challenges T-Rex to label Saudi Arabia as a “human rights violator“, and is seemingly irked by Tillerson’s reluctance to engage in labeling. Eventually this leads to Tillerson’s eloquent and articulate adult dispatch of little Marco. Great Watch:
.
Both Republican and Democrat Senators are being introduced to an administration which recognizes there are various cultures all over the world who hold different values than the U.S. It has been this way for millennia.
Interventionists like Rubio appear unhappy the incoming administration is unwilling to use brute force to influence and/or demand change.
