Something not passing the sniff test here. With a pre-existing, and more comprehensive, declassification of documents request already submitted by GOP leaders in the House of Representatives, why would Lindsey Graham develop a less comprehensive list?
I find it curious the Senator Graham list only relates to the DOJ/FBI corruption that can be specifically pinned on President Obama officials; and avoids requests that would show corruption in the DOJ/FBI after President Obama left office.
Note: no-one is looking for -or demanding- the obvious stuff; like the ‘clean and unredacted’ text messages between Lisa Page and Peter Strzok; or the instructions Rod Rosenstein gave to Robert Mueller, etc.

Today Senate Judiciary Committee Chair, Lindsey Graham, has sent a letter to Attorney General Barr requesting nine categories of documents for declassification, from the IG FISA abuse investigation.

I must admit at first I was going to present this as a “Friday Funny“, because the statement is a nomination for this year’s Captain Obvious Award.
“Domestic politics could drive Britain out of the EU”… Gee, ya think?

Well, duh. Of course it’s those pesky British domestics, those vulgarian masses, that are driving Britain out of the EU. It is stunning to see a person say that out loud as if there was some other mysterious force that could have created the Brexit referendum.
However, beyond the stupid humor of the comment, and believe me it had me in stitches for more than a few moments, Tusk’s outlook actually opens a window into the knuckleheaded collective mindset that exists within the EU:
“The main political problem with Brexit is the situation inside Britain … the emotions related to this show that we are all victims of Britain’s internal politics.” (link)
There was a scheduled joint status filing due today between DOJ prosecutors and the Mike Flynn defense team led by Sidney Powell.
As Mr. Flynn’s cooperation has ended in all other aspects related to the former special counsel, there are apparently many issues still to be resolved prior to Flynn’s sentencing.
In a filing today (full pdf below) Flynn’s defense lawyer, Sidney Powell, notes two significant issues: (1) Ms. Powell is being denied a security clearance she needs to review all of the documents in the case; and (2) the DOJ is refusing to provide the original FBI notes from their interview of Michael Flynn on January 24th, 2017.

The IG report on the behavior of FBI Director James Comey clearly validated President Trump’s 2017 decision to fire him. Mr. Comey is described as a highly self-interested person within the department who saw himself above all rules applied to others.
Today, President Trump tweeted about the IG findings:

From the CTH review of the report content, there is absolutely no doubt James Comey used his memos akin to FD-302 investigative reports from an FBI agent. Meaning, from beginning-to-end James Comey considered himself an investigative agent against the President-elect and then President Trump.

Just another day in the mainstream media….
MSNBC propagandist Lawrence O’Donnell appeared on television last night to push a conspiracy theory about President Trump’s companies being funded by Russian oligarchs.

Less than four hours after asking for donations to reach the debate stage threshold, democrat presidential candidate, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, quit the race:
Today, I am ending my campaign for president. I am so proud of this team and all we’ve accomplished. But I think it’s important to know how you can best serve.

Reports today about FBI raids on the homes of United Auto Workers (UAW) President Gary Jones who is under investigation in a nationwide corruption sweep.

MICHIGAN – FBI and IRS agents raided the home of UAW President Gary Jones in metro Detroit early Wednesday as part of a nationwide sweep of sites tied to the autoworker union.
Agents also raided the California home of Dennis Williams, who preceded Jones as UAW chief; the union’s northern Michigan conference center; and additional UAW locations in Wisconsin and Missouri.
The outline of primary support at the end of August is traditionally how the voting ends up during the first primaries the following year. Biden, Sanders, Warren and Harris look to be the only viable candidates. The challenge now becomes keeping the existing support.
(Via Emerson) […] Spencer Kimball, Director of Emerson Polling, points out that “Mayor Pete Buttigieg has seen his poll numbers drop all summer and is now at 3%, behind Andrew Yang who is at 4%. Mayor Pete has raised enough money to stay in the race for now but will need a strong debate performance to remain relevant.”

There continues to be a large age divide in the democratic primary with Sanders receiving 36% support of those under the age of 50 compared to 11% support among those 50 and over. Biden, on the other hand, has the support of 21% of those under 50 and 44% of those 50 and over. Warren’s support is more consistent as she is at 14% with voters under 50 and 17% with voters 50 and over. And Harris is at 8% among under 50 year olds and 12% among those 50 and up. (read more)

The Lawfare group are the external influence agents for corrupt politically motivated lawyers working in government. The group fingerprints show up everywhere including among “beach friends” and legal schemes hatched from the premise of their assembly. Lawfare = use the law as a tool in warfare. [Adult Alinsky disciples.]
The Lawfare group is headed by Comey’s friend Benjamin Wittes; and the group give resistance advice to ideologues inside government as well as outside organizations who are resisting (suing) the Trump administration.
So when Benjamin Wittes announces to his ideological resistance followers:
…”You should thus expect charges against McCabe to be forthcoming any day. And if such charges don’t happen, that doesn’t mean they weren’t planned but, rather, that some extrinsic event has intervened”… (link)
…readers can assume Lawfare leadership has known about McCabe’s risk position for quite some time. Remember, former FBI chief legal counsel James Baker also works for Lawfare.
