UPDATE 8:00pm EST – Jussie Smollett was charged Wednesday evening with felony disorderly conduct after allegedly filing a false police report about his assault in Chicago last month, according to the Cook County state’s attorney’s office. “Detectives will make contact with his legal team to negotiate a reasonable surrender for his arrest.” (more from WaPo)
Jussie Smollett is now officially a suspect for filing a false police report claiming an alleged attack.  Chicago police are delivering evidence to a grand jury and have announced that Smollett is suspected of organizing an elaborate attack against himself.
This development surfaces on the same day CBS Chicago has located CCTV video showing the two brothers Smollett hired purchasing a red hat and ski masks from a local store.

The two brothers, Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo, testified today before a grand jury that is hearing evidence in the Jussie Smollett staged hoax crime as the legal issues for Mr. Smollett begin to mount.

According to CWB-Chicago postal inspectors have been on the trail of a mailed threat letter that appears to be part of the coordinated and planned staging of the alleged hate-crime.

CHICAGO – […]  Two Lakeview brothers who were previously considered “persons of interest” in Smollett’s purported attack told police during interrogations last week that Smollett staged the hate crime because he was upset that the threat letter did not get enough attention, ABC7 Chicago reported Monday afternoon. Detectives are investigating their claim.
Meanwhile, the FBI and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service has been quietly working on the origins of Smollett’s letter for nearly a month. Giving it far more “attention” than he knew.

Details are now starting to surface that Empire actor Jussie Smollett not only fabricated a hate hoax crime, but that he actually staged the crime and paid assistants to help him.
Earlier today it was revealed that detectives discovered the two Nigerian brothers questioned by police had purchased the rope found around Smollett’s neck at an Ace hardware. The two co-conspirators are now cooperating with police who are investigating.
Adding more likelihood to the attack being staged, Mr. Smollett has hired high-priced defense attorney and former federal prosecutor Michael Monico to defend him.

CHICAGO (CNN) – Two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation told CNN that Chicago Police believe Jussie Smollett paid two men to orchestrate the assault.
The brothers, who were arrested Wednesday, were released without charges Friday after Chicago police cited the discovery of “new evidence.” The sources told CNN that the two men are now cooperating fully with law enforcement.

Oh dear, once again a high-profile hate crime claim is exposed as a hoax. Multiple sources have told ABC7 Eyewitness News in Chicago that police are investigating actor Jussie Smollett and two men who staged the attack; allegedly because Smollett was being written out of his television show “The Empire”.

The three month trial of Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman has ended with the New York jury finding the cartel leader guilty of all counts.

New York – A Brooklyn jury on Tuesday found Mexican kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman guilty of running a massive drug-trafficking operation.
The drug lord looked stunned as the panel handed down the verdict on its sixth day of deliberations — convicting him on all counts, including operating a continuing criminal enterprise, use of firearms and various charges of conspiracy to import and distribute cocaine, heroin and marijuana.

There has been considerable discussion about the ridiculously over-aggressive manner in which the FBI conducted the arrest of 67-year-old Roger Stone.  Now video is surfacing showing just how over-the-top it was. [CBS 12 Footage Here]

Multiple heavily armed members of law enforcement and FBI are seen on CCTV video knocking on the door of the Stone residence and positioning themselves such that Mr. Stone was staring down the barrel of multiple rifles when he opened the door.

“I opened the door and in my front yard, I was staring down barrel of two assault weapons and I saw a dozen other FBI agents in the background, all wearing night goggles, full SWAT gear, sidearms, and so-on. On the ground was a large metal device used to break down a door which was unnecessary,” Stone told Sinclair Broadcast Group Chief Political Correspondent Scott Thuman in an earlier interview.  Behind the house, more agents arrived by boat.  (read more)

Here’s the Roger Stone indictment (full pdf below) – (link to indictment).  Stone has been indicted on seven counts in connection with Rod Rosenstein and Robert  Mueller’s investigation.  The charges include obstruction of an official proceeding, witness tampering and five counts of false statements.

The prosecutors allege Mr. Stone made multiple false statements to the House Intelligence Committee about his interactions with “Organization 1″ [WikiLeaks].  Thus it appears this is the reason why the currently corrupt DOJ and FBI have kept the transcripts hidden from public review.
If the public had the opportunity to review congressional witness testimony it would be much harder for current DOJ and FBI officials to shape a prosecutorial opinion of those statements.  Thus, Robert Mueller’s team keeps the testimony hidden so they can weaponize innuendo, and legal differences of opinion, for maximum political damage.  This is the very essence of “Lawfare”; one valuable approach toward legal manipulation.
