Louisiana – After a concerned mother called 911 fearing her son was choking, an EMS worker proceeded to conduct an inspection of her house on the premise that she homeschooled, telling the woman “we’re agents of the state”.

NORTH CAROLINA – In March 2014, illegal aliens were charged with more than 250 separate counts of sex crimes against children, throughout the state of North Carolina.

Of course, this figure is not an anomaly, as those here illegally were charged with more than 150 acts of child molestation during the previous month in the Tarheel state.

This war against the children of North Carolina is simply the inevitable result of both the Obama administration’s decision to basically suspend all immigration enforcement, as well as city governments throughout the state implementing so-called ‘sanctuary policies’ which shield criminal aliens from possible deportation. Arguments today – Ruling anticipated by end of June.

WASHINGTON DC – The US Supreme Court heard oral arguments  Tuesday in a pair of cases dealing with warrantless searches of suspects’ cell phones.

Riley v. California  [report] is a state court case that involves a challenge to searching an arrested individual without a warrant. After being arrested, police examined Riley’s cell phone, which was described as more of a hand-held computer. In granting certiorari, the court amended the question presented to: “Whether evidence admitted at petitioner’s trial was obtained in a search of petitioner’s cell phone that violated petitioner’s Fourth Amendment rights.” (more…)

The parallel between Eric Holder doing this and Alberto Carvalho’s program in Miami-Dade schools with the use of the MDSPD is IDENTICAL.

(Reuters) – The U.S. Justice Department on Monday said it will begin collecting data on stops, searches and arrests made in five U.S. cities to weed out possible racial biases within the criminal justice system.
Later this year, a $4.75 million federal grant will be awarded to recipients who compete for the funds to work with their local law enforcement to analyze arrest data and find ways to reduce any biases they find, particularly toward young minority men.
Black men were six times more likely, and Latino men were 2.5 times more likely, to be imprisoned than white men in 2012, according to Justice Department data. (more…)

Earlier in the week we shared how the White House was now trying to assist Emanuel because things are getting worse, not better.   Against the backdrop of growing violence and a city in turmoil, CNN could not have picked a worse time to sell their version of Chicago in the Chicagoland series. 
(Via Mediaite)  “So where is a consumer going to get the truth?” Chicagoland executive producer Robert Redford asked during a CNN interview ahead of the release of that heavily promoted documentary series. “I lean toward documentaries because the documentarian will take an hour to tell his or her story.”
Sometimes the truth needs a little bit of help. According to emails obtained by the Chicago Tribune, Chicagoland’s producers coordinated with Mayor Rahm Emanuel in order to shape how certain events unfolded and to make the mayor “look good.”
“If it seemed as though some scenes of CNN’s documentary series Chicagoland were coordinated by Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s City Hall and the show’s producers, that’s because they were,” the Tribune reported on Friday.  (read more)

The PC Media just can’t bring themselves to write the actual name of the event.   It was officially called “African American Family Day” at the National Zoo; with free entrance from 10am -to- 4pm.

Wednesday, the Woodley Park community met with police and city leaders to discuss the shootings, safety, and the annual African-American Family Day at the zoo, which has become a place for youth to commit crimes in recent years

Given recent events, and considering how the institutional left claims a desire to want “that” racial conversation – yet factually do everything in their power to avoid actually having “that conversation” – lets look at how the event was described in the Politically Correct Media Empire as they were reporting on the DC Zoo violence.

While the Obama administration did not file a brief in the case, Attorney General Eric Holder today praised Justice Sotomayor’s “courageous and personal dissent” in Schuette v. BAMN, yesterday’s decision upholding the right of Michigan voters to ban racial preferences in public university admissions. Holder’s remarks were, naturally, given at the Justice Department’s “Diversity and Inclusion Speaker Series.”   (read more)
