Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby Files Response To Motion for Recusal/Dismissal…. (pdf included)

marilyn mosby 7MARYLAND – Baltimore prosecutors shed new light on their rationale for some of the charges against the officers involved in the death of Freddie Gray, saying in a court filing that Gray had been illegally detained before officers found a knife in his pocket..
In announcing the charges this month, State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby said that the folding knife, which police initially described as a switchblade, was not illegal under state law, and so Gray should not have been arrested.
Defense attorneys for the officers who were charged with falsely arresting Gray, 25, have said prosecutors overlooked city law, which they say forbids possession of such a knife. They have used the distinction to argue that the case against the officers was rushed and flawed. (more…)

[….] “They roughed him up, but the officer was able to press a button and release his K-9 from the backseat,” Adam said. The dog bit at least one of the suspects, potentially saving the officer’s life. […] We don’t know how many he got, we just know he had blood all over him,” Adam said.

lucas 2MISSISSIPPI – A manhunt is under way after a Hancock County Sheriff’s Department deputy was saved by his dog from an ambush attack by three men.
The deputy, Todd Frazier, was beaten and cut with a box cutter in Pearlington on Monday, Sheriff Ricky Adam said. If it wasn’t for his K9 partner, a black Belgian Malinois named Lucas, they might have succeeded.
“They told him they were going to slit his throat, and they were dragging him toward the woods,” Chief Deputy Don Bass said, adding that authorities believe the attackers meant to drag Frazier into the woods, kill him, and dump his body.. (more…)

The Lake Mary Police Department report said that 36-year-old Matthew Apperson had shown signs of paranoia, anxiety and bipolar disorder. Apperson’s attorney, Mark NeJame, didn’t immediately respond to an email seeking comment.
Zimmerman told officers he had been driving in the Orlando suburb of Lake Mary when Apperson got behind his truck and yelled, “You remember me you fat mother f—–?” according to the report. (more…)

  • And Charles Wayne Russell, 46, died of gunshot wounds to the chest.

Reporting now indicating that all deceased were killed by police gunfire.  Reporting now indicating 27 people shot by police, 8 still in hospital.   Reporting lowers weapons confiscated to less than 50, mostly pocket knives, chains (attached to wallets?), nail clippers, one padlock and firearms (CCP fired or unfired?).
From the outset the police description of events at the Twin Peaks (Waco) Gang Shooting seemed oddly self-serving, super efficient/fast, and unusually specific for a mass casualty event outlined in under 3 hours.  It was *as if* they wanted to get out ahead of something.

The Day After – Waco Gang Shooting Investigation Begins – Who Shot Whom?…

Nine dead, at least 18 wounded.  Perhaps 20+ people shot; but by who??

(Via LA Times) […] On Monday, police worked the scene, collecting evidence and diagramming the site. Every bullet casing and every blood spot will be mapped and examined. More than 100 motorcycles and 50 to 75 other vehicles were expected to be inspected and held as evidence in the far-reaching investigation that will probably take time to sort out. Swanton and others who saw the inside of the restaurant said it is littered with shell casings and pools of blood.

Among the unanswered questions is who fired the fatal shots that killed nine. Along with the bikers, police fired shots when the melee erupted inside the Twin Peaks restaurant and spilled onto an outdoor patio and then the parking lot.
The first shots were fired in the restaurant, Swanton said. “We had wounded inside, we had people stabbed and we had people beaten,” he told reporters. (more…)

VonDerrit Myers Shooting Investigative Report Released Today – Justifiable Police Shooting (pdf report)

vonderrit myers jrBACKSTORY HERE – October 2014 – “Mom said 18-year-old baby Vonderrit was eating a sandwich and contemplating which college classes would be better – considering his recently edited white paper on Gravitational Inconsistencies as applied to Quantum theory.
A local politician, Senator Nasheed, said the police walked up to Vonderrit while he was kneeling down in prayer and shot him in the back of the head.
There appears to be a disconnect in here somewhere; somewhere between  a skewed version of reality, and what actually took place“.

Hillary's Email Pen Pal, and Employee of Clinton Foundation, Leveraging Her State Position For Libyan Business Opportunity….

The New York Times has a new article outlining the relationship between Hillary Clinton, the State Department, the Clinton Foundation, and her pal Sidney Blumenthal. However, they somewhat bury the lede regarding the impression that Blumenthal was leveraging Hillary for a group of business partners (he led) who wanting to invest in Libya.
New York Times […] as Hillary Rodham Clinton embarks on her second presidential bid, Mr. Blumenthal’s service to the Clintons is once again under the spotlight. Mr. Gowdy’s chief interest, according to people briefed on the inquiry, is a series of memos that Mr. Blumenthal — who was not an employee of the State Department — wrote to Mrs. Clinton about events unfolding in Libya before and after the death of Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi.
According to emails obtained by The New York Times, Mrs. Clinton, who was secretary of state at the time, took Mr. Blumenthal’s advice seriously, forwarding his memos to senior diplomatic officials in Libya and Washington and at times asking them to respond. Mrs. Clinton continued to pass around his memos even after other senior diplomats concluded that Mr. Blumenthal’s assessments were often unreliable. (more…)
