Today, despite the predictable petty antics of the ridiculous liberals, the official 2016 electoral college vote was presented and affirmed to the United States Congress.
The pathetic childish antics of the ideological left-wing was once again on full display:
Even Vice President Joe Biden appears embarrassed by the current state of the Democrat party.
…“and they will whine, and their caucus will whine, and they will keep on whinning, and eventually they will say we can’t take all of this losing, …please Mr. Schumer …and he will say, NO, we will whine, …and we will keep on whinning”…
As anticipated, the propaganda amid the MSM narrative surrounding the intelligence fracture is thick this week. Perhaps it’s time we really call the baby ugly.
Before getting into that, it appears President-Elect Trump is scheduled to meet with the primary intelligence community propagandists, CIA Director John Brennan and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper:
It’s doubtful there could ever be a more swampy couple of political intel operatives present in Washington DC than these two professional deceivers.
Office of Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) James Clapper’s prior congressional performances should have forever removed any credibility from his ability to influence. You might remember him being questioned about NSA surveillance of Americans and his response of “no”. (more…)
Politically engaged Americans (writ large) will, most likely, soon discover why it became so intensely important to outline the internal fight between ‘black hat‘ and ‘white hat‘ operatives within the intelligence community as it related to the 2016 U.S. election. One example of the “shadow fight” within the administration is outlined here.
A PBS interview with CIA Director John Brennan highlights the scope of professional obfuscation needed when intelligence agents decide to politicize intelligence. The Obama administration is in the process of attempting to re-write their own history.
As you watch this interview it is critical to remind yourself of the background within the names espoused by Brennan; specifically James Clapper and Jeh Johnson. Additionally, against the recent sunlight we have provided, I would strongly highlight the discussion toward the end of the interview surrounding Syria.
Newt Gringrich appeared on Fox News Sunday this Christmas morning for an interview with Chris Wallace. Substantively this was a good presentation by Gingrich who does a great job this time explaining administrative/executive “Trump”, and common sense as it applies to Trump foreign policy.
At the 07:45 point the discussion turns toward governmental contractors and the DC lobbying community etc.
A key moment also comes at the 10:50 point of the interview where Gingrich identifies something we previously discussed in the primary election: the scope of the swamp, and the predictable “there are trillions at stake” fight.
…”they’ll reach a crisis point; where they are going to look in the room at each other, they’re all winners; and they’re going to say either we’re going to be more reasonable and get along with the city, or we have to become even more unreasonable and break the power structure that’s opposing us. My hunch is they’ll pick the latter”…
I think Newt’s hunch is correct. That inflection point, timed around the delivery of the first Donald Trump budget to congress, is the epic battle many of us have been waiting for. (more…)
As you review this CNN article it is CRITICAL to remember there are two divergent U.S. economies: a Wall Street economy, and a Main Street economy. The DC UniParty Politicians, the Globalists and the MSM will instantaneously conflate the two. Stay sharp.
The direct target of the tariff approach is the enhancement of the Main Street economy. Due to the global nature of Wall Street this immediately puts their financial relationship, their economic risk, in the same place as the risk for foreign countries which would be subjected to the economic leveling of the trade equation.
Again, stay intellectually sharp – this is where we are going to have to fight “the big club“. Understanding how their “trillions of dollars at stake” are placed within the equation is a critical aspect to understanding how the UniParty will attack. Washington (CNN) – The Trump transition team is floating the possibility of an early executive action to impose tariffs on foreign imports, according to multiple sources.
Such a move would deliver on President-elect Donald Trump’s “America First” campaign theme. But it’s causing alarm among business interests and the pro-trade Republican establishment. (more…)
(New York, NY)— President-elect Donald J. Trump today announced his nomination of U.S. Congressman Mick Mulvaney of South Carolina as Director of the Office of Management and Budget.
Congressman Mulvaney brings a wealth of experience on economic, budgetary, and fiscal issues to his new role. Rep. Mulvaney has long been a strong voice in Congress for reining in out-of-control spending, fighting government waste and enacting tax policies that will allow working Americans to thrive.
Rep. Mulvaney believes getting America’s fiscal house in order is a key component of President-elect Trump’s America First plan to create millions of jobs and grow the economy. (more…)
Anthony Scaramucci and Stephen Miller, executive members of President-elect Donald Trump’s Transition Team, appeared on Fox News for interviews. In a general sense the primary discussion points were Trump’s economic revitalization plans. Videos Below.
First, the Scaramucci interview. Pay close attentionat 01:30 of the first video to hear something CTH readers might be familiar with.
Perhaps, it’s fair to say this approach has become more than just “spidey sense” now. (more…)
Speaker of The House, Paul Ryan, sat down with Fox News host Sean Hannity for a lengthy discussion about the incoming Trump administration, congress, and legislative priorities.
Here’s the full interview. It is essentially self congratulatory explanatory:
Perhaps something worth considering amid all the Mitt Romney angst, is the potential for this to be part of a more comprehensive Donald Trump/Steve Bannon strategy.
You would be hard pressed to find anyone amid CTH who would opine any measure of favorability toward Romney. Quite the contrary, no-one likes him, at all. Nor did anyone support his initial presidential bid in the primary of 2012.
However, that said, President-Elect Trump presenting Romney as a cabinet possibility -and stirring up the visual appearance of grass root opposition therein- may essentially be nothing more than putting the final nail in another GOPe legacy coffin. (more…)
The Sunday talk circuit was filled with pearl-clutching media pundits and talking heads today immediately referencing their left-wing David Brock (Media Matters) talking points.
The transparently obvious goal is to undermine, deride and create toxic division. First up, Jake Tapper interviewing Paul Ryan:
