NBC News Says Obama Has Known Millions Would Lose Their Health Insurance As A Result of Obamacare Since 2010…

updateUPDATE:  Just after midnight 10/29 NBC took down the original article noted below and replaced it with THIS ONE creating a broken link.    They took out the following paragraph:

…”None of this should come as a shock to the Obama administration. The law states that policies in effect as of March 23, 2010 will be “grandfathered,” meaning consumers can keep those policies even though they don’t meet requirements of the new health care law. But the Department of Health and Human Services then wrote regulations that narrowed that provision, by saying that if any part of a policy was significantly changed since that date — the deductible, co-pay, or benefits, for example — the policy would not be grandfathered”….

NBC did not note their edit – they just deleted the original article and added another in it’s place.    Typical considering what we anticipated below.

The latest estimate is around 16,000,000 Americans will lose their current insurance. Each will have to pay significantly more for the Obamacare product, most with much higher deductibles. As Congressman Waxman admitted last week, this was part of the design all along.
Now NBC is reporting that President Obama knew this – AS he was saying it would not happen – Meaning, he intentionally lied.
However, as you read the NBC “exclusive”, ask yourself what’s the angle? Because NBC WOULD NEVER, NEVER, publish anything that would hurt this administration p.e.r.i.o.d. So what are they setting up?
(NBC Reports) President Obama repeatedly assured Americans that after the Affordable Care Act became law, people who liked their health insurance would be able to keep it. But millions of Americans are getting or are about to get cancellation letters for their health insurance under Obamacare, say experts, and the Obama administration has known that for at least three years.
Four sources deeply involved in the Affordable Care Act tell NBC NEWS that 50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a “cancellation” letter or the equivalent over the next year because their existing policies don’t meet the standards mandated by the new health care law. One expert predicts that number could reach as high as 80 percent. And all say that many of those forced to buy pricier new policies will experience “sticker shock.” (more…)

More Concerning Than The Democrats – The Awakening Will Embolden The Decepticons – They'll Pull The 'Robert The Bruce' Move…

Considering 2014 – The Democrats are f*cked !
FirefoxScreenSnapz005
They built this Obamacare, they own this Obamacare –  for our side that awakening is good for us, but that’s not the real concern.

A big part of me desperately wants to be hopeful.   Hopeful while thinking about all the similar new awakenings happening as a consequence of Obamacare.  The political insiders within the Democrat machine know full well in 2014 the electorate will punish them for everything Obamacare; under two conditions:

#1) The unified messaging from Republicans is ‘we tried to warn you’.
And #2) A singular voice can lead and give rise.

If that message is repeated, and if a genuine messenger is leading point, Democrats are F*cked.   That’s so easily identified, even the media notices it.
But that’s not what stops the hope. (more…)

More Awakening: “I Was All For Obamacare Until I Realized I Was Paying For It”…. D'oh

How much do you want to bet she voted for Obama twice. Typical progressive NIMBY…. Loves them all that liberal stuff, well, until all that liberal stuff actually begins to impact their own life – then, notsomuch.   Seriously, who did SHE THINK was going to pay for it? Santa?
I shouldn’t be so hard on all the “Jennifers” of the world; but good grief – we’ve been fighting this thing for four years DESPITE THEM.  So forgive me if I’m slow to the touchy feely sympathy thing…
CALIFORNIA – Thousands of Californians are discovering what Obamacare will cost them — and many don’t like what they see.
These middle-class consumers are staring at hefty increases on their insurance bills as the overhaul remakes the healthcare market. Their rates are rising in large part to help offset the higher costs of covering sicker, poorer people who have been shut out of the system for years.

Although recent criticism of the healthcare law has focused on website glitches and early enrollment snags, experts say sharp price increases for individual policies have the greatest potential to erode public support for President Obama’s signature legislation.
“This is when the actual sticker shock comes into play for people,” said Gerald Kominski, director of the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. “There are winners and losers under the Affordable Care Act.” (more…)

Dear Leader Gets Snippy When Asked About Obamacare: "C'mon Guys, I'm Going To Church"….

The shocker here is not that President Obama is thin skinned without teleprompter aid and healthcare talking points….  The shocker is he actually went to a church again.   His golf round vs. church attendance ratio is about 50 to 1.

WASHINGTON DC – President Obama was not in the mood to field questions about ObamaCare during his walk to church on Sunday.
“C’mon guys. I’m going to church,” Obama reportedly said when asked if the law’s troubled enrollment website would be ready by Nov. 30.
The exchange comes after a tough week for the White House on ObamaCare. (more…)

Caveat Emptor – Washington State Healthcare Exchange Overestimated Subsidies For 8,000 People

(Via Seattle Times)  About 8,000 Washington residents who are purchasing health insurance on the state’s fledgling exchange marketplace may be getting less of a subsidy than they thought they had coming to help pay for it.
The exchange, called the Washington Healthplanfinder, said Friday that a calculator on its website mistakenly overestimated tax credits for about 6,000 applications that cover about 8,000 people, said Michael Marchand, communications director at the Washington Health Benefit Exchange, which operates Healthplanfinder.
The error represents a setback for the state-run exchange, which has received favorable reviews once it got up and running as one of the few online marketplaces established under the Affordable Care Act that has a functioning website and is posting strong enrollment figures.  (read more)
