In a rather direct conversation former CBS investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson talks about her decision to leave CBS News.
Some of the interesting aspects she discusses are how CBS was uninterested in airing numerous reports on scandals that surround the Obama administration and White House. She also talks about how the White House would call CBS to pressure the network to stop airing information, and how even her print reporting would find White House officials calling to express their concerns.
Tyranny, in all its forms, needs deception.
By disposition, in order to be effective, the expressed construct of hatred toward the majority needs to be hidden from public scrutiny. It has always been thus.
Recently we shared the statements by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to the Al Sharpton group of professional race provocateurs, the “Black Grievance Industry”, who were assembled in audience. Eric Holder stated in his speech:
“I have been proud to stand along side of you in supporting efforts to advance the cause of justice that has always been at the center of this , this administrations work I am pleased to note that the last five years have been defined by significant strides and lasting reforms, even in the face, even in the face, of unprecedented, unwarranted ugly adversity. And if you don’t believe that, you look at the way …forget about me… forget about me , you look at the way the Attorney General of the Untied States was treated yesterday by a House committee. Had nothing to do with me what Attorney General has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment? Holder was framing his argument that racism was the underlying reason for congressional unhappiness that he continues to conceal information from congressional inquiry. Specifically his comments stem from a congressional hearing exchange with Representative Louis Gohmert. (watch exchange here)
However, the White House and the Obama administration don’t want the visibility, and/or the actual sunlight, upon what was said within the confines of the black grievance audience. (more…)

Mr. Gohmert is elected every two years to represent hundreds of thousands of his constituents. Whether you like him or not, he is representative of the people; a large number of people.
Mr. Holder is a cabinet member appointed by, in this case, one man. He represents two men; himself and the President.
Another way to look at what Eric Holder’s doing here is to think about him, as an individual, pointing his finger at 300,000 Americans -who rise in opposition- and then threatening them. (more…)
Remember this ? (February 2013) Conservative activist and founder of True the Vote, Catherine Engelbrecht, filed an ethics complaint against far left Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD). Ms. Engelbrecht accused Cummings of harassment and intimidation.
Democrat House Committee Member Elijah Cummings denied he, nor his staff, ever had contact with leadership in the IRS about targeting or getting documents for Ms. Engelbrecht’s group, “True The Vote”.
However, today (Via WFB) The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) sent tax documents on a targeted conservative group to Democratic staff on the House Oversight Committee, newly released emails show, despite previous denials by ranking Oversight Democrat Elijah Cummings (D., Md.) that such contact had occurred. Eric Holder “Goes There” in a big way!

Washington, DC – Today, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) announced that the Committee, acting under its authority granted in Sec. 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code, voted out a criminal referral letter to Department of Justice (DOJ) Attorney General Eric Holder regarding actions taken by IRS employee Lois Lerner. Chairman Camp, in sending the letter on behalf of the Committee, urged Holder to take a serious review of the evidence uncovered through the Committee’s investigation to determine whether Lerner violated criminal statutes.
The House Committee Investigation uncovered three specific acts undertaken by Lerner that may have violated one or more criminal statutes documented in the letter:
• Lerner used her position to improperly influence agency action against only conservative organizations, denying these groups due process and equal protection rights under the law. She showed extreme bias and prejudice towards conservative groups. The letter lays out evidence on how Lerner targeted conservative organization Crossroads GPS as well as other right-leaning groups, while turning a blind eye to similarly-organized liberal groups, like Priorities USA.
•Lerner impeded official investigations by providing misleading statements in response to questions from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).
•Lerner risked exposing, and may actually have disclosed, confidential taxpayer information, in apparent violation of Internal Revenue Code section 6103 by using her personal email to conduct official business.
If convicted of these crimes, Lerner could face up to 11 years in prison.

Congress votes to send details of the corruption and scandal to the DOJ for criminal prosecution. President Obama previously pledged to “hold anyone accountable” for their participation in the political targeting of people by the IRS. However, President Obama has recently stated “there was not a smidgen of corruption in the IRS”. Todays recommendation comes as information surfaces that Lerner was trying to get a position in OFA…..
(WASHINGTON DC) The House Ways and Means Committee has voted to 23-14 along party lines to refer former head of tax exempt groups at the IRS Lois Lerner to the Justice Department for prosecution. Although the details about exactly what charges will be have not yet been released, lawmakers are arguing Lerner has not been truthful with Congress or the IRS inspector general and leaked confidential tax information.
Last time a referral like this happened, it was to Major League Baseball player Roger Clemens, who was pursued by the Department of Justice for lying to Congress but was exonerated in court. (more…)

Somehow, in the bizzarro Easter Island land of long faces where John Kerry was spawned, this makes sense to him. Israel blamed for derailing peace talks Palestinians would not participate in.
WASHINGTON DC – Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday said Israel’s announcement of new settlements in East Jerusalem last week derailed the peace talks with the Palestinians.
Israel first missed the deadline to release the fourth tranche of Palestinian prisoners, Kerry told lawmakers at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing. Israel then announced 700 new settlement units in Jerusalem.
“Poof, that was sort of the moment,” Kerry said at a hearing focused on the fiscal 2015 budget for national security and foreign policy priorities. (more…)
New York – The Rev Al Sharpton, the radical civil rights leader who is now a close ally of President Obama, was a Federal Bureau of Investigation informer who helped to jail a number of Mafia bosses, it has been claimed.
An investigation by the Smoking Gun website claims that the 69-year-old television host and White House regular was “turned” by the FBI after being implicated in a drug deal.
The website said that he agreed to wear a wire tap during conversations with Mob bosses, including leading members of the Genovese crime family, the largest and most feared Mafia outfit in the United States.
A Baptist minister who is said to have been targeted by the FBI because of his extensive contacts in the music and sports industry, as well as the New York underworld, Mr Sharpton has always denied being a “snitch.”
McAllister is married with five children. McAllister has been in office for six months. McAllister ran as a Christian Conservative. McAllister was endorsed by Duck Dynasty Star Willie Robertson.
In California Democrat Senator, Leland Yee was busted brokering the sale of shoulder fired missiles from al-Qaeda to the FBI and the media has been silent. Watch what they do with this one…..
LOUISIANA – Rep. Vance McAllister (R-LA) has been in Congress for less than six months and he already has a sex scandal on his hands. The self-described Christian conservative was caught on a security camera in his own office kissing one his Congressional staffers.
[…] The Louisiana paper identified the women in the video as 33-year-old Melissa Anne Hixon Peacock, McAllister’s district scheduler. The 40-year-old congressman is married and has five children.
