This obtuse explanation from Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen about the April jobs report is one for the record books.  According to Yellen, the government handing people more free money than they would achieve with a working job is not a disincentive for employment.

To prove her case she cites the hospitality industry hiring people in April.  However, what Yellen doesn’t figure into her bizarro logic is that all sectors in all states are not created equal.  Yes, the statistics of “sector analysis” apply across the entire nation; however, the underlying economic activity is not equally distributed.

Blue states are more economically closed than red states. The job gains are in the states where the economic activity is strongest and the incentives for workers are the biggest.   The lack of people working is disproportionately happening in the blue states where dependency models are strongest. WATCH this nonsense:

These bureaucrats don’t have a lick of common sense.  According to Secretary Yellen’s logic, there are times when water is not lacking dryness.

Economic forecasters had predicted one million job gains in April.  The actual results are “stunningly” and “unexpectedly” far below the expectations.  The Bureau of Labor Statistics [SEE HERE] reveals only 266,000 jobs gained in April and downward revisions of March by -146,000.  There are almost 7.4 million jobs available; however, despite the available jobs, no-one is going back to work.

Yes, JoeBama’s “free government money” has created the socialist utopia.

The politically correct economic analysts are shocked that minorities (blacks and latinos) are not going back to work; while ignoring the disincentive that government handouts have created in the JoeBama economy.  The entire dynamic is ridiculous when you consider we should be entering a phase of the jobs economy where vaccination and COVID mitigation should be leading to massive reopenings of the economy overall.

Inside the numbers, the economic sectors showing the worst jobs recovery are directly related to the blue state shut-downs.  Worse yet, there is an underlying scenario showing the economy is not growing despite the ability of businesses to re-open overall.  That spells even more trouble.

(CNBC) – “Today’s report was an enormous surprise and shows the labor market hit a hidden pothole in April,” Glassdoor senior economist Daniel Zhao tells CNBC Make It. “Clearly, the labor market has decelerated quite a bit.”

The 6.1% unemployment rate and 9.8 million people unemployed remained steady in April compared with the months prior. (more)

In the state of Michigan, specifically Antrim County, there is an ongoing civil lawsuit into the electronic tabulation systems used in the 2020 election [Details Here].  The plaintiff in the case is William Bailey and his attorneys include the DePerno Law Office:  “We have the proof that voting machines used in the 2020 elections can be compromised and votes easily transferred from one candidate to another. We can flip votes at the tabulator/precinct level. We can flip votes at the county level. The American people are losing their voice for the future of our democracy. We must fight together for free and fair elections.”

Earlier today President Trump drew attention to this ongoing legal battle:

President Donald Trump – “At 6:31 in the morning on November 4th, a dump of 149,772 votes came in to the State of Michigan. Biden received 96% of those votes and the State miraculously went to him. Has the Michigan State Senate started their review of the Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020 yet, or are they about to start? If not, they should be run out of office. Likewise, at 3:42 in the morning, a dump of 143,379 votes came in to the state of Wisconsin, also miraculously, given to Biden. Where did these “votes” come from? Both were State Election changing events, and that is on top of the other corruption without even including the fact that neither state got Legislative approval, which is required under the United States Constitution. The Bailey case in Michigan is the first time admissible evidence of how electronic voting systems can be manipulated is being presented before a court.

After the DOJ Civil Rights Division sends a letter to the Arizona state senate, Arizona Chairwoman Kelli Ward gives an update on the coordinated democrat shenanigans.

As Ward notes, the Democrat Arizona Secretary of State is coordinating with the DOJ in an effort to block the audit from continuing.   The auditors and the State senate need our support as the feds start to target the effort.  Unfortunately, I suspect that somewhere, sometime, at some point in this battle, the legal fight is going to end up at the U.S. Supreme Court.

U.S District Judge Dabney Friedrich has ruled the CDC has exceeded its authority with the federal ban on evictions during the COVID response. [pdf ruling HERE]

The issue at the heart of the matter is one of private property rights.  As the judge stated: “The question for the Court is a narrow one – “Does the Public Health Service Act grant the CDC the legal authority to impose a nationwide eviction moratorium? It does not.”

(WASHINGTON) – Federal Judge Dabney Friedrich struck down on Wednesday the national eviction moratorium, potentially leaving millions of Americans at risk of losing their homes.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has banned most evictions across the country since September. President Joe Biden extended that protection to renters until July. Some 1 in 5 renters across the U.S. are behind on their payments amid the pandemic, and states are scrambling to disburse more than $45 billion in rental assistance. (read more)

A remarkable display of Alinsky-inspired hubris today from the White House Press Secretary.

What this tells me is…. in the background political operatives (and polling) are telling the JoeBama administration the border crisis is a toxic issue that will likely hurt the Democrats in the next mid-term election cycle.  The White House response to deploy the Alinsky gaslighting is a very familiar tactic when there is urgency amid the liars to get out in front of a politically damaging position.

Unfortunately for Psaki, the reality, facts and a poor decision to give Biden T-shirts to the illegal alien horde, begs to differ.

American flags, veterans, patriotism, pride in America, courage, pride, honor, strength… all the things represented by the motorcycle group known as “Rolling Thunder” who have traditionally rallied on Memorial Day in Washington DC.  Unfortunately, all those adjectives are also things the intolerant leftists hate… So the Biden administration denies the group a parking permit.

WASHINGTON (7News) — The U.S. Department of Defense has denied a parking permit to the American Veterans or AmVets to stage a rallying point at the Pentagon ending a 32-year-old tradition on Memorial Day weekend for Rolling To Remember.

Now AmVets will try and secure RFK Stadium as an alternative staging area.

AmVets Executive Director Joe Chenelly tells the 7 News I-Team he received a call from the Pentagon Friday afternoon saying “A gentleman at the Pentagon told me that after careful consideration, our permit application was denied. He said considerations involved the continued spread of COVID-19 in the region and the nature of our event being that we are proposing a large gathering for an extended period of time.”
