Did Mr. and Mrs. Obama meet with, or personally -as in physically- show their support for U.S. Troops or Service members this year?
You see, in a very real and simple sense, people do that which is important to them; and people avoid that which is unimportant. This is a simple truth in life that many people seem to ignore.
Washington (CNN) – President Obama paid a visit Friday to a group of activists who have been fasting for weeks in the hopes of pressuring Congress to pass new immigration laws.

Obama and his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, visited the group on the National Mall to lend support for the cause. The “Fast for Families” protesters have given up all sustenance except water during their protest, which they hope will force lawmakers to take up immigration reform measures pending on Capitol Hill. The event highlighted yesterday at the U.S. Mexican border reminded me of an event from eight years ago.
(Via V-Dare 2007) Armed Mexican gunmen advanced to “within yards” of a National Guard observation post on the U.S. Mexican border. The Guardsmen ran away.
Guardsmen overrun at the Border Channel 12 News, Arizon Jan. 4, 2007 02:44 PM
A U.S. Border Patrol entry Identification Team site was overrun Wednesday night along Arizona’s border with Mexico.
According to the Border Patrol, an unknown number of gunmen attacked the site in the state’s West Desert Region around 11 p.m. The site is manned by National Guardsmen. Those guardsmen were forced to retreat.
The Border Patrol will not say whether shots were fired. However, no Guardsmen were injured in the incident.
The Border Patrol says the incident occurred somewhere along the 120 mile section of the border between Nogales and Lukeville. The area is known as a drug corridor. Last year, 124-thousand pounds of illegal drugs were confiscated in this area.
The Border patrol says the attackers quickly retreated back into Mexico.
Profiler in Chief….
Yes, “Illegal Aliens” is the correct term. An alien registration card is the official legal language for permanent visa and legal immigration status. If an immigrant does not possess an alien registration card, or legal citizenship status, they are an “illegal alien”.
CALIFORNIASTAN – More than 100 people pelted U.S. Border Patrol agents with rocks and bottles during a rowdy confrontation Sunday afternoon along the U.S.-Mexico border, federal authorities said.
Nobody was seriously injured and it’s not clear whether the crowd was trying to enter the U.S. illegally or hold a demonstration, but the sight of a large crowd surging beyond the border rattled nerves. (more…)
The open border crowd of leftists have long held the belief in a non sovereign global community. This lies at the heart of their insufferable “it takes a village” beliefs, and their globalist efforts have long been at work in the petri-dish of European multi-cultural Marxism.
Multi-culturalism has failed miserably in their EU experiment, and nationalists are making a resounding, albeit mostly politically correct, comeback against the visible failure.
Here in U.S. the leftist progs hold the same disposition toward a united North American borderless continent. Obfuscating illegal Mexican immigration into the United States lies at the core of their current approach. A recent New York Daily News article exposes the rotten core of the Prog hypocrisy. Fleeing wrath of vicious cartels, record-breaking numbers of Mexicans seek political asylum in the U.S.
Mexicans are running from drug cartel horrors and seeking asylum in skyrocketing numbers. Refugees tell the Daily News they ran for their lives for chance at safety in the U.S., where more than 23,000 Mexicans fled in the first nine months of 2013.
EXCLUSIVE PHOTO: From right to left, the bodies of a pregnant woman, her 19-year-old sister, a college student, a high school teacher and the pregnant woman’s husband were hung recently from the welcome sign of rural Limon de la Luna in Michoacan, allegedly by members of the Knights Templar drug cartel, which controls nearly the entire state by terrorizing residents.
We’re always astounded with how much success modern liberals have convincing people the divisive, segregationist, and yes -racist- group is always “the other guy”. When the factual truth is that historical, and progressive, liberalism (ie. Democrats) is built on the cornerstones of separation and categorizing people.
Yesterday we shared how Obamacare will group, or pair, patient treatment, by matching the race of the patient with the race of their doctor. Another unfortunate example shines today:
CALIFORNIA – America is already in danger of being separated into sub-sections by the lack of the one necessary element for a unified society – a common language.
Now the Los Angeles Unified School District has decided to take a further step backward by segregating classes by the level of English that students speak. In other words, those who speak fluent English will be grouped together, while those who struggle will be grouped together.
The change was apparently made due to a complaint from the federal Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights, which charged the district with failing to provide adequate services to English-learning students, the L.A. Times said.

When New Jersey Democrat Senator Frank Lautenberg died on June 3rd 2013, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had a decision to make. Generally speaking, Governors appoint interim representatives as replacement Senators to finish the term (through 2014) of the deceased. But this potential appointment held some *other* considerations. (more…)
McCOOK – Texas Department of Public Safety troopers briefly detained and then released about 20 people suspected of being in the country illegally Saturday morning on a farmer’s land 24 miles north of central Mission, the landowner said.
About 8 a.m. Saturday, Lee Adams said he noticed “a lot of activity” in the brush on his large rural property. He called a DPS trooper, who called for backup. A group of troopers – which included five cars and two helicopters – eventually rounded up a group of people who appeared to possibly be in the country illegally, Adams said.
But in less than an hour, the cars and helicopters scattered, allowing the people they detained to do the same. (more…)
(Via National Review) At a town-hall event in Chantilly, Va., yesterday, Gutiérrez told attendees that while he has objections to the immigration bill passed by the Senate earlier this year, he would “vote for that proposal today . . . even under those harsh conditions” rather than not pass anything. He went on to list a series of cautionary tales about the tragedy that would result should Congress fail to pass an immigration bill:
“Today, someone is going to die in that desert, trying to return to their families, women and men are going to die in that desert; someone’s going to lose a finger, a hand, an eye, a life today because an unscrupulous employer is going to put them in harm’s way, someone’s going to die; there’s a woman that’s going to be raped in a field somewhere in America today because she has no rights in this country, and we need to end that; there are children who are going to cry and there are marriages that are going to be destroyed because someone is going to be deported, and there are going to be children that are going to be left orphaned in this country.” (link)
Oh we know exactly where this is going. This was predicted ten years ago by people who were very familiar with what the Far-Left Strain of Democrat Progressives (Fabian’s) were going to go…. The key to knowing where this heads, is to understand the “control” element in making people dependent on you and your representation for their capacity in life. Democrats are modern day “share-croppers”.
WASHINGTON — Calling the labor movement in crisis, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka says he will push far-reaching changes at the federation’s convention next month, including forging closer partnerships and even accepting as members such outside groups as the Sierra Club and the NAACP.
The changes, some of which will require amending the AFL-CIO’s bylaws, are part of a strategy aimed at reviving the labor movement’s falling clout and recasting it as a champion for American workers generally, not just for the declining ranks of dues-paying union members. (more…)
