We’ve been saying for two weeks that President Obama has a weak hand as he promotes his plan to deal with his own manufactured “border crisis”. Quite simply the entire administration is on the wrong side of the people.
This recent report from the Border Patrol not only confirms this perspective, but further outlines how stark and contrasting is the opposition to illegal immigration.
CALIFORNIA – In an exclusive expose regarding the immigration standoff in Murrieta, California, it was revealed by a confidential informant inside the Murrieta U.S. Border Patrol facility that the real reason busses stopped delivering illegal immigrants was due to a virtual mutiny within the U.S. Border Patrol ranks.
Guerilla Media Network investigative journalists conducted a recorded telephone interview with a highly credible and prominent Murrieta community leader on Sunday July 14, 2014 when it was revealed that frontline U.S. Border Patrol agents threatened to stand down if the Department of Homeland Security executed a plan to use force upon protesters if they impeded buses transporting undocumented immigrants into the Murrieta processing facility.
“Most of the Border Patrol agents here at this facility are residents of Murrieta, and when they found out that the DHS was going to come in with riot gear, the agents declared that they would not obey any unlawful orders which violate the Constitutional rights of peaceful protesters.” said the informant. Harry Reid declares unequivocally (@:50) “The border is secure”…
….. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain…. move along, move along, nothing to see here folks…. Look at the cute squirrels playing bocce ball behind the camera man. “Secure border” folks, “Secure Border”….. “S-E-C-U-R-E B-O-R-D-E-R”.. Yessireee!

“The Border Is Secure”…
Here we go again. Remember the debates in congress about the definition of “is” ?
It’s just how they roll. The Democrats in DC will not allow changes to the 2008 law they claim is the source of the problem for unaccompanied minors, ie. “the border crisis”, unless the GOP cough up the $3.7 billion that Obama claims is needed because the law has not been changed…..
…. Nonsensical, yeah, we know, but that’s the Democrats’ position and they’re sticking to it.

WASHINGTON DC – Republicans and Democrats in the House are clashing over whether changes to a 2008 human trafficking law should be included in emergency legislation for the border.
Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Tuesday morning said he would seek to link changes to the trafficking law to the emergency funding, with Republicans making a final decision on their strategy by the end of the week.
Republicans have blamed the influx of children at the border on the 2008 law, which they say has served as an incentive for people to enter the United States. The law allows minors entering the country from Central America, but not Mexico, to request asylum hearings.
House Democrats are balking at the push, arguing the debate over the trafficking law should be kept separate. (more…)
Update at bottom 8:23pm they let him out
Several days ago I read an article outlining the mockery of Mr. Vargas toward ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). Apparently he’s been detained by the ICE employees he’s worked so diligently to ridicule…. Just deserts.
(CNN) — Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and undocumented immigrant Jose Antonio Vargas suspected he wouldn’t get out.
His fear came to fruition Tuesday morning when he was detained at a Texas airport as he tried to pass through security en route to Los Angeles, his spokesman said.
Vargas was being held at a detention center at the airport in McAllen, Texas, spokesman Ryan Eller said.
Official word on why he was detained wasn’t immediately available, but Tania Chavez, an undocumented youth leader who met with Vargas recently and has accompanied him around the McAllen area, told CNN that Vargas was detained because he does not have the proper documentation. (more…)
Glenn Beck joined Bill O’Reilly last night to talk about his planned border visit and the “angry death threats” he’s gotten from conservatives for doing so. Beck said he understands the anger, but insisted he has a “responsibility to God” to put aside politics and help people in need.
Beck said he’s raised $1.8 million dollars so far, but acknowledges the frustration many have with the broken immigration system. He said there are “some people [that] believe that I’m just gonna make things worse” and even “encouraging people to come here.”

Update to this story from yesterday.
Obama’s buddy, Governor Deval Patrick, will feign ignorance…
(Doug Ross) Not only is the Obama administration secretly flying convoys of illegals around the country, but they’ve officially been caught lying about it.
…Illegal immigrants are being secretly flown to Massachusetts and kept in local lockups in an under-the-radar operation that has alarmed lawmen who are raising health and security concerns amid recent spikes in detainees coming up from Texas during the latest border crisis.
“We’re all becoming border sheriffs now with these people being carted all over the country,” said Bristol County Sheriff Thomas M. Hodgson… “The blame goes all the way up. It’s a travesty and people ought to be upset,” Hodgson said. “This is un-American and has raised the stakes to the public health and public safety threat.”
…On the receiving end of the buses from Hodgson’s facility was Plymouth County Sheriff Joseph D. McDonald Jr., who said he’s seen a jump in illegal immigrants arriving at his jail and had to deal with “scenarios where we’ve had 100-plus detainees coming in at the same time.”… (more…)
We’ll keep repeating this because it takes a lot of effort to break through the lame stream media narrative AS THEY AVOID – AVOID – AVOID.
President Obama, and by consequence his water-carrying cohorts, are on the wrong side of the majority of Americans on the border crisis.

This recent article in The Hill, highlights the disconnect and the problem for Democrats in general. In 2011 President Obama stood on the banks of the Rio Grande and announced “the border is secure”. He went on to shout opposite opinion in that regard, “they want a moat – alligators in the moat”, was silly.
In 2014 the unsecure border reality has become the “border crisis”, and is now haunting President Obama and his cohorts in ideology. They are beginning to twitch, visibly.
A similar analogy would be to compare the controversial issue around the Islamic Mosque proposed for New York, at Ground Zero. The media and Dems worked feverishly to portray opposition as “bigoted and nativist”. But the reality was the majority of Americans opposed the entire premise. Try as hard as they would, it remained a losing issue for the Dems, but they held on to it as long as they could; eventually conceding collapse under the sheer weight of opposition. Quietly the issue disappeared.
So too is this claim that expecting the border to be secure -from infiltrators of any ideology- is a bigoted position. It just won’t sell. Americans of all persuasions can see the depth of stupid; and when we say ‘of all persuasions’ we mean regardless of political tendencies. (more…)
Someone help me out here. If you consider the 10th Amendment limitations on Federal intervention into state constructs – how is it legal that Feds do not have to tell the highest level state constitutional law officers of their activity, and worse can deny information when questioned ?…. Serious question.
NEBRASKA – Gov. Dave Heineman blasted federal officials Friday for refusing to give him details about 200 undocumented children who have been placed in Nebraska as the feds grapple with a crush of Central American kids sneaking across the nation’s southern border.
Nebraska Watchdog first reported on the children after U.S. Sen. Mike Johanns confirmed their placement on Thursday. U.S. Department of Homeland Security officials told Johanns on June 27 that the children were placed with families or sponsors in Nebraska after being caught or turning themselves into the U.S. Border Patrol.
The children are part of a wave of Central American children who have crossed the Mexico-America border and overwhelmed Texas facilities. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services by law must find a place for the children while they await deportation hearings, and if they have family in the U.S., that’s where they go. (more…)
