“I wish I could communicate to you an upbeat message of fun and joy as many parts of the St. Louis community now rightfully feel with our beloved Red Birds headed back into the playoffs and undoubtedly the Series,” Vickers wrote. “However, all is not joy in Cardinal Nation, as you most certainly must be aware, because of the shooting of Michael Brown, and the deep seeded feeling of enough is enough in the black community it has unearthed.”
In an interview, Vickers said Major League Baseball has a role to play in the Ferguson situation.
“They are coming into the midst of this controversy,” Vickers said. “They need to influence the business community.” (more…)

You might remember the case of Dustin Friedland, 30, and his wife Jamie, 27, who were Christmas shopping when Mr. Friedland was shot in the head in front of his wife in the parking garage of The Mall at Short Hills.
Dustin J. FriedlandYou might also remember the police asked for assistance in locating the carjackers, but would not release the race of the suspects because it would be helpful, but wouldn’t be politically correct.
The public figured it out, and eventually they caught the suspects.
So today…..
NEWARK — Four men have been indicted on charges of killing a Hoboken attorney during a carjacking in December at The Mall at Short Hills, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray announced today. (more…)

The Man Who Built Obamacare Prefers No Life Beyond 75 Years Old…

The guy behind the Death Panels structurally created in Obamacare policy reveals his personal preference for life expectancy. It helps to understand the thought process behind the policy.

ezikel emanuel_0-550x309(Via The Atlantic) Seventy-five.
That’s how long I want to live: 75 years.
This preference drives my daughters crazy. It drives my brothers crazy. My loving friends think I am crazy. They think that I can’t mean what I say; that I haven’t thought clearly about this, because there is so much in the world to see and do. To convince me of my errors, they enumerate the myriad people I know who are over 75 and doing quite well. They are certain that as I get closer to 75, I will push the desired age back to 80, then 85, maybe even 90.
I am sure of my position. Doubtless, death is a loss. It deprives us of experiences and milestones, of time spent with our spouse and children. In short, it deprives us of all the things we value. (more…)

Identified Voter Fraud In Georgia – Ebenezer Baptist Church At Center of Voter Registration Fraud Expanding To 14 County Probe…

The usual suspects at work – Reverend Raphael Warnock immediately pulls out the accusations of racism and the KKK to deflect attention away from a growing controversy involving the group and their efforts to register 100,000 new voters for the Georgia Senate race.

GEORGIA – […] At an emergency hearing of the state Election Board this week, Kemp’s investigator Chris Harvey laid out the elements of the case. Harvey said he had confirmed 28 cases of fraud in 14 counties — 25 fraudulent voter registration applications and three fraudulent canvassing sheets. Some had forged signatures; others, false information. Another 26 cases were labeled suspicious.
Raphael Warnock
Falsifying a voter registration form is a felony in the state of Georgia.
“Any time that you’re talking about forgery and fraud in Georgia law, it’s certainly very serious,” Kemp told Fox News.
The issue is a particular hot button this year because of the narrow margins in the race to replace retiring U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga. Polls show Democratic candidate Michelle Nunn narrowly trailing Republican David Perdue. Nunn’s campaign believes if it makes significant inroads into signing up some of the 800,000 unregistered minority voters in Georgia, she could take the seat. (more…)

Scotland Votes Today On Independence From U.K…

The abject failure of multiculturalism, and an increase in the thirst for nationalism -as exhibited within UKIP growth- is partly driving a new review of several international alignments.   Scotland possibly breaking away from the United Kingdom is a reflection of such a nationalistic sentiment…
[Extract from earlier NBC Report]  More than 4.2 million people in Scotland — or 97 percent of the adult population — have registered to vote on whether or not to remain part of the United Kingdom.
Scotland referendum
Scotland was an independent country until 1707, when the Act of Union with England led to the creation of Great Britain and, ultimately, the United Kingdom — which also includes Northern Ireland and Wales.
It retained its own separate legal and education systems and was granted its own devolved parliament in Edinburgh in 1999 but control of defense, borders and taxation remain with the U.K. parliament in London’s Westminster and ultimate authority lies with Queen Elizabeth II. (more…)

No Longer Useful Jill Kelly Suing Feds For Privacy Invasion – Judge Rules Case Can Proceed…

Discovery in this lawsuit could be interesting….

WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge ruled Monday that a Florida woman can pursue her lawsuit alleging the government invaded her privacy in the scandal over former CIA director David Petraeus.

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson said Jill Kelley of Tampa can move ahead with claims that the FBI and Defense Department violated her privacy when officials leaked information about her to the news media.
The ruling does not deal with the merits of the case, but as the lawsuit proceeds, it could reveal more about the role various government agencies played as the scandal unfolded two years ago.
In 2012, Kelley complained to the FBI when an unknown person sent her harassing emails. Her complaint triggered a criminal investigation that led agents to Paula Broadwell, who was Petraeus’ biographer and had been having an affair with him. (more…)

Musical Jihadists – Terror Leaders Leave Qatar Headed To Turkey, For Now…

The hidden story behind the mid-East events continues to unfold.  As previously discussed Egypt’s Fatah El-Sisi requested the assistance of the Saudi royals, Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz, and The Arab Gulf Council, in pressuring Qatar to stop their support for the Islamic Jihad and terrorists.

The UAE and Saudi’s respect the stability El-Sisi is delivering, and last week agreed to assist the stability objective.  A quiet conversation with Qatar led to the announcement that several members of Muslim Brotherhood leadership were being dispatched from the region.  Now, today…

(Egypt Independent) Gamal Abdel Sattar, a Muslim Brotherhood preacher, said that former International Cooperation Minister Amr Derag was deported to Turkey five days ago, while Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who has the Qatari nationality, will remain in Doha.

Abdel Sattar added that there are six other Brotherhood figures leaving Doha to destinations to be determined within hours.

Another source said they would first go to Turkey and then leave, so as not to embarrass Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his party before the opposition. (link)

The safe-haven in Turkey, albeit temporary, should be seen for what it is.   Further evidence of Erdogan’s support for the radical jihadist elements, aka ISIS.  There is no doubt Erdogan has an ultimate ideology in general agreement with the Islamic State.
Egypt’s El-Sisi has asked Interpol for assistance in intercepting the terrorists as they leave Qatar.  Hopefully they are: a.) willing, and, b.) successful. (more…)

DHS Adviser Fired After Accessing Confidential Documents…

(Via WFB)  A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) adviser long engulfed in controversy over his radical views was let go from his role in the department last week after a long fight by lawmakers and others to revoke the individual’s privileges at DHS.

Mohamed Elibiary was until last week a senior member of DHS’ Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC). After years of controversy about his status at DHS, Elibiary announced his final day with the department on Twitter earlier this month and said he would remain close to the agency.
Media outlets have raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his departure, speculating that his provocative comments about the “inevitable” return of the Muslim “caliphate” may have played a role. (more…)

That Awkward Moment When You Realize President Obama Is Pretending To Be an ISIS Terrorist….

WASHINGTON — Just hours before announcing an escalated campaign against Islamic extremists last week, President Obama privately reflected on another time when a president weighed military action in the Middle East — the frenzied weeks leading up to the American invasion of Iraq a decade ago.

NYT quote

“I was not here in the run-up to Iraq in 2003,” he told a group of visitors who met with him in the White House before his televised speech to the nation, according to several people who were in the meeting. “It would have been fascinating to see the momentum and how it builds.”

In his own way, Mr. Obama said, he had seen something similar, a virtual fever rising in Washington, pressuring him to send the armed forces after the Sunni radicals who had swept through Iraq and beheaded American journalists. He had told his staff, he said, not to evaluate their own policy based on external momentum. He would not rush to war. He would be deliberate. (more…)

Kerry Goes To Cairo – Secretary John Kerry Visits Egypt To Round Up Support For The "Optical War" On NI-ISIS

There’s definitely something new afoot with how the western liberal media are selling the Kerry goes to Egypt narrative.

It’s an odd dynamic to think about President Peace Prize Obama needing to put together a coalition of support for his poll tested non-war war on terror; to fight the Non-Islamic Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (NI-ISIS) terror group.
However, the bizarro world is the 2014 new normal.
Obama-Nobel-Peace-Prize-500x714
We are witnessing what happens when the U.S. Sunni President, and 2009 Nobel Peace Prize winner, needs to put a non-combat fighting team together to give the appearance of military attacks for optical publication in globally liberal Western newspapers.
The #hashtag campaign didn’t work.
Turkey has already said they will not support fighting against NI-ISIS because, well, essentially they have been supporting NI-ISIS for the past two years with weapons, intelligence and logistical support. So why would they start attacking a group they helped create and are continuing to fund?
Following his visit to Turkey, where he must have reduced the request to: ‘just don’t go on record against us and we’ll keep up appearances for you‘, John Kerry enters Egypt.
Now, keep in mind Egypt already has it’s hands quite full.
In the Northern Egyptian peninsular Egypt’s president, Fatah el-Sisi, has been fighting ISIS (Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis) for well over a year. Unlike Obama who calls ISIS “non islamic“, el-Sisi has been willing to call Islamic Extremists, well, Islamic; and not only call them Islamic he’s been fighting them on four fronts. (more…)
